The actions of one cypherite do not reflect a whole organization's, this has no bearing on our stance towards cypherites, as a matter of fact there was more than a couple cypherites in the Datamine at the time who did nothing to interfere.  If anything just let it be a stance towards ChloeAnn if you really feel pointing fingers is necessary.

Either way I don't get the negativity, the Technician realized the danger of dealing with "unstable code" as he put it
and was simply a victim to his own experiment.  It's not like we didn't get anything out of it.

Yes, I did this on my own... but in the end, something good came out of it. Guess you'll just have to wait and see hehe..

((Of course I go out of town when cool stuff happens...argh))

Eh, Chloe did what I would've done if people told me they'd been ordered to kill me. Not her fault if they were lying.

He was gunna die anyways.... *shrugs*

Machine operatives were ordered to kill any Cypherites, so, I did no wrong.

And he spawned the agent. That agent wouldn't of left him alone until he was dead, he wouldn't of even made it out the door, but meh.. was fun.

It's not entirely true that the Technician couldn't escape death, assuming that agent was just like any other level 255 agent.  If someone had recall loaded, s/he could've sent the Technician a team invitation, and then recalled him.  That would've gotten rid of the agent.  (I've done it before.)  I bet none of you Mechs knew that, did you? SMILEY  However, as far as I know, it's normally impossible for level 255 agents to show up in Datamine, so the event must've been designed for the Technician to die.  Maybe more agents would've appeared if they got rid of the first one.

Also, just to clarify, I'm not saying this because I wanted the Technician to be saved.  He was trying to find the Oracle so that the Machines could help Halborn get to her.  If Halborn does find the Oracle, there's a very good chance that he'll kill her if she doesn't say what he wants to hear, just like he killed Gray.  I don't know if the Oracle can be restored as easily as Gray was, but I'd rather not take that risk.  I'm not sure if that's why ChloeAnn was trying to get the Technician killed, but either way, I'm happy with the outcome.

Uh yeah, Agents spawn on you sometimes when you tap a node...

Level 255 agents?  Everytime I've seen a level 255 agent spawn from data tapping, they always die immediately.  But I've never tapped in Datamine, so maybe the spawns are different in there.

Awww :( That poor Technician! He was actually having fun "being out in the field" and then this happens!

He will never be able to brag to his friends in Department C31-10 now :( *cry*
