Ingus's Log - 3

What is Good? What is Evil?

Ingus has been called everything from dirty, rotten, self-aborbed, greedy, vile, and an evil merv. So with those constant thoughts ringing through Ingus'spikey red head of hair. Ingus has taken a short break from field operations and has decided to catch up on some Philosophy at a local book store.

Vauxton Book store

So really... What is Good? What is Evil?

These are thoughts that tends to cascade throughout this cold war based on the different point of views from operatives in each organization.

Conflict between two sides that has been with us since the beginning of time. You're not good. You only fight for your point of view. It's the bases of all wars.

Some philosophers believe that evil doesn't exist on its own... and that it's merely the absence of good... and only exist in the perspective one takes of that something which we call evil for lack of better words

Evil cannot exist except in good. Evil cannot have a cause. A person does not consciously choose to perform an evil act, it is only evil when viewed from a certain point of view. Therefore evil should be considered an accidental circumstance of the desire to do good.

Good gets perverted and instead evil is perpetrated, even though the person committing the act may not see it that way... because that person believes what they are doing is right.

Ingus agrees with that in a sense, but here is Ingus' indirect take on the matter: In conflict and wars there are heros and villains.

Heros consider Villains evil by choice of opposing them.

Villains believes what they are doing is the right thing to do and the right thing for them in this world.

Heros don't except the world the way it is. They build rules and barriers to regulate and contain natural order. They believe what they are doing is the right thing to do based on rules of the society and enviroment that they were raised and matured in.

Like Ingus said: Heros dont except the world the way it is. So they try to change it by creating rules and regulations. Caged animals are no different than humans following laws of a society. You're caged by them.

They like to preach peace. Peace is only a temporary intermission from natural order.

Human nature roamed freely across the planet until rules and barriers regulated it. Zionites for example, They believe what the Machines have done is evil... and that destroying the Matrix is good.

Well the truth is... what the Machines did was evil and Zions quest to destroy the Matrix is evil. Hell, the Merovingians goals to keep the war intact is Evil.

We're all Evil.

We're all evil based on our point of views of each other. Yet we're all good. We believe what we are doing is right for the sake of our society or the enviroment we inhabit or were raised in.

Such as the Merovingian organization... We are redpills that have chosen freedom in the Matrix without being bound and regulated by the Machines. The Merovingian is our employer, not a puppet master as many of you may think.

Zion trying to destroy our home, the Matrix? Now that's some evil shizt   But Ingus shall continue to fight for the good of the Merovingian organization and make sure those evil Zionites don't destroy our home.

Machinist? Are they good or evil? They are good. They are the law enforcement in the matrix... but if you ask Ingus, they're simply. "Rent-A-Cops". HAHAHAHA!

Moving along...

What Anome did to Niobe was that Evil? Yes in a Zionite's eyes but Anome did what he believed was right for him. Human nature Ingus supposes Zions are just too **bleep** stupid to realize their faults.

Indeed we're all good an evil.. that was just Ingus' way of breaking down matters. Truth is, we're all acting on human nature. It's not about good and evil. it's about human nature versus rules and regulations.

Along time ago from an opposition's point of view... "I" once walked the path of "Good".

Now Ingus walks the path based outside the rules that structure a society. A society that considers those that operate against their rules as: "Evil".

Do you take Ingus' speaking in 3rd-person as a form of egotism at its highest peak? Or a former soldier left for dead by Zion and rehabilitating through injuries that no human has yet to endure?

Perhaps Ingus shall share his past, with the future, in time

However, in the meantime, Zionites continue to flood our good Mega City in search of Niobe while continuing their crusade to destroy the Matrix. More and more Zionites are catapulted into this cold war each and everyday.

These books have opened Ingus' eyes to truth...

If the Matrix is being overran by Zionites.....

Then Ingus has more work to do

No rest for the wicked.

Ingus understands complexity and nuance.  I'm happy he is in our org.  He "gets it."  Keep up the good fight.
