Just something that came to my mind... after an unsuccessful (and maybe somewhat lazy) Google search, I'd thought I'd ask here:
Where does the popular (internet?) catchphrase "I blame Keith" have its origin? Like "spam" or "giant enemy crab" also have their definite origins....
Also what's the story with the MxO character Keith01? Saw Walrus referring to him, and also some Youtube video about him.

As far as I know, the "I blame Keith" thing has always been an MxO inside joke. Then again, I've thought that a lot of Internet memes were local to the MxO community, like the whole Mudkipz thing.

Keith01, of The Endless, is the source of the joke. To be honest, it's been such an old inside joke on Recursion that I barely remember how it started. Though I seem to think that he was happy to accept the blame for any and every thing possible. I'll try searching some posts to verify. Some of the Recursion vets may have a better recollection than I do. <--- Getting old :\

Loool, and there I thought it was some universal internet meme - hopefully I haven't used it anywhere outside MxO...

I remember roughly where it started, but can't remember who actually said it first, I thought it was possible me or Mave, or at least someone at the location. We were all doing a Pandora Box at Creston Heights and something went wrong and we decided to blame Keith, probably was his fault , then everything just started to expand on blaming keith. That was Keith01 of Endless.

Ah, cool to know!
Does he still play, btw? Is/was he any kind of a forum personality?

I remember seeing the screenshot of it, I actually think it was you that said it.

Good God, I forgot all about the Endless. I was in that faction for a while back when I played on Recursion. That was way back in summer of 2005. Prime, or something along those lines, was the leader of the faction. He was a Merv, if I recall correctly.
