Titanic took them 39 weeks to get to $600 Million while Darkknight is only at its 4th week and its going to be at 3rd place... With that I hope it surpasses Titanic in the coming weeks. So Jim can start making movies once more...

Why are Gordon and his kid leisurely chit-chatting about Batman when they should be calling a paramedic for Two-Face? Why would Batman tell Gordon to say he's the one who killed the corrupt cops, if Harvey/Two-Face will just say he's the one who did it once he's recovered? No one stays dead in comics. They coulda just told the public he was dead so that he woulda have "died a hero" and would inspire more good that way.I'm sure they left the movie the way it was on purpose. That way people can think what ever they want to think. It works boths ways.

The awesomeness of this movie cannot be contained in one year.

AWESOME!
Got my Blu-Ray version 3 days early.
When I heard that the movie would have a 3rd disk with a digital version (to put on your iPod etc) and this new BD Live technology I was exited about the many different commentaries I would be able to listen to plus the fact that you could record your own commentary and that little thing of having a live chat with Christopher Nolan while watching the movie...
None of this comes in the UK version. Which sucks, cause now I have no director commentary at all.
Plus it switches between aspect ratios, 1.78:1 for the IMAX scenes and 2.40:1 for the 35 mm ones. Not fun having black bars come and go when they please
Special features are nothing to shout about, heck even some of the interviews in the "Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of The Dark Knight" are ripped right out of the Batman Begins dvd.
If they were planning for this film to boost Blu-Ray sales like The Matrix did for DVD they are going about it the wrong way IMO.
Just re-watching the dvd and I have a question. What was Alfred's deal when he was in the jungle bribing tribal leaders? I've never read anything about him doing anything like this in any comics.

Its just their (Nolan) take on Alfred. In the comics he has displayed a wide array of skills that are needed for that time. Just like in Iron Man Jarvis was an A.I. but in the comics he was Starks butler. They probably dropped the butler idea for the movie as to not have Iron Man and Batman seem like the same guy in different suits. Thats just a guess though.
