PvPers on Syntax have noticed a change in PvP.  Apparently the
Machines are in power now and there is nothing to do at the Mara
central Hardline.  Some may view this as a sense of security,
while others think something like "*CENSORED* IM SO BORED I NEED SOMEONE TO
KILL"*

PvP is no fun when you're always being zerged and ganked by a huge
population of Machines, Merovingians, or Zionists.  I am proposing
that some members of organizations leave and go to another
organization. Why? Because if there are 50 Machines and 5 Zionists,
both sides won't be very happy.  The Zionists would be ganked over
and over whilst the Machines kill them over and over. No one gets any
CQ, no one has fun.

PvP needs to be a bit more of a fair fight. We've all been ganked
before and no on likes being killed over and over especially if the
other orgs are being n00bs and saying "HAHA HAHA WE PWNED YOU"  No
one likes when others brag about winning.  The only thing that
bragger would get from me would be a nice PUNT or BULLDOG. How's that
for ownage n00b?

I'm not suggesting zerges from another org, I'm simply saying balance it out a bit.

Everyone... Do the Right thing.... STOP **BEEP**ING JUMPING ON THE **BEEP**ING BANDWAGON!!!! IT GETS OLD REAL QUICK

Nice idea, dont think it will ever happen, on vector (my server) the machines r drasticly outnumbered, but i must say, ppl dont complain about it there and you have no choice but to fight, where as on your non pvp  server you have to make the decision to fight, all that means is that more machines have migger balls then the zions.

Maka that keeps happening on Syntax. People first split to Merv, then when they had the numbers, more people flocked to them unbalancing it all. So they moved to Machines, same thing happened. Then they moved to Zion, same thing. Then back to Merv, same thing. Back to Machines, same thing. It will always cycle like this because PvP in this game as it currently stands is pointless and org switching is all too easy.

i'm not at all complaining about machine numbers at the moment.  The pvp has been at its healthiest right now for a long long time (as far back as i can remember).

Zion merv and machine have no excuses, its split 3 ways on population.

The reason it "seems" the machines are dominating is because we talk with each other and organize what we're gonna do.  Though with what i've seen/read from the mervs and zions who meet, its just a "gank this person first".

While this isnt the only reason for our numbers, it has a great impact in the long run, such as morale, degrading enemy numbers after you kill them etc.

I have seen various people getting killed by us and then the next day, they've joined DR, TGS, or any other machine factions.

I applaud the principle but ganking is something thats just going to happen.

Sure the machines have the upper hand at the minute but why should they switch factions to make it fair? Im Zion and get ganked all the time at the moment, so what? Its even more satisfying when you survive long enough to kill someone, its supposed to be fun afterall.

Same old problem, Zion doesnt work together. Hats off to Digital Reality at the moment, theyre coordinated and working well as a team. If Zion want Mara back we're going to have to fight for it and thats exactly how it should be.

I actually think it's good that there has been a change. Merovingians had a lot of players for a couple of days. Now it's the machines who have them. It's something different from the zion zergs. Believe me, I know all about them because I'm a zionists :smileytongue: I do miss PvP SMILEY Kinda busy at school but I'll drop by today and tomorrow to euhm....to get killed by kanjo! :p

I figured it all out.

Zion-zerges a lot but isn't coordinated at all

Merv-has a lot of skilled pvpers, but not a lot of them

Mech-is well coordinated with mediocre people

Mechs are ablwe to take Mara, but if a good team of Zionists try hard they can turn the tide. Mervs have good PvPers like Longowner, Xaivier, and others, but there isn't a lot of them.

Please post if you agree or disagree.

I (dis)agree.

If I'm PvPig in a team, we always try some sort of stratigy (I'm a zionist btw). Merovingians have a lot of great PvPers, but they aren't always PvPing (just like everybody else). If they are, well figure it out yourself. Saying that there aren't a lot of them, if wrong accoarding to me.

Machines, well machines... lol, not much to add on them. Great tactics, great PvPers, lots of friends, one big happy family and euhm... Kanjo? Lol *buttkisser* nvm..

KK a few weeks ago it was zion ganking and owning everyone.... then mervs and machines sort of truced :/.

After this alot of zions went merv and such so merv was owning in pvp.

Now machines are owning in pvp.

Give it a few weeks alot of things change in a few weeks on MxO maybe people leaving or arguments within factions wateva. But sit back and enjoy the gang banging for now.

And also with merv Codemasons always try to have some kind of strategy, but its very hard to it with the rest of the merv population because mervs are split between alot of factions these days. Also ive seen quite alot of mervs leave i know Codemasons alone must of lost 6 if not more lvl 50's or some just not been on for ages.

well that's why u organize pvp then...u could have faction vs faction
pvp battle which include 1 FULL machine faction vs a FULL merv faction
and lvls stick to fighting lvls or u can set up another thing where 1
org starts from 1 side another org another side and another the other
side...those 3 way pvps are crazy fun cuz ur there fighint almost
everyone but that's prety much just a shoot and hit thing but fun cuz
of how many people their are..their will always people those people
that come outta nowhee and say they owned u when they had 2 MA's 4
gunmen and 3 hackers on then they go onto their little victory
dance...last thing (i'm sure others do organize what their gonna do but
they don't organize well that's why they have faction and team chat cuz
theirs been lots of time where machs regroup in big numbers whenever
there's a group of mervs controlling mara c and outta nowhere they come
and hit us from roofs/ceilings/highways/behind ect ect ect...but there
goes my 9 cent

well i know it worked pretty good with gaellon and thats why they made
constructs before the merg their were some pretty crazy battles in
there but mervs would get greatly outnumbered so they camped the merv
chicks and buffed them :smileyvery-happy: or u can do it
downtown but then no one under 30 would be able to goto it and if some
*$^bleep*&™ does screw it up then...gank that person!! then
continue with ur game of ppvp (a.k.a planned peer vs peer)

How does anyone "not have fun with PvP" on a non hostile server.. do u guys like.. coordinate thos so u all have like 5 mins worth of PvP and then the fights over? if its borign there, y just not PvP? Or better yet, come to Vector, where PvP is always on, and see how u think PvP works compared to ur server. I've been to syntax.. and all people did was stand around :/.

Well personally, I think org switching is already a simple task, which
is probably why you're having so many problems on Syntax, Mara C always
looks like this through the eyes of a Machinist (until we can call back
up, but run-in-the-mills, day in day out PvP sessions for a Machine
looks like this) on Recursion:

But regardless of how outnumbered we generally are and being the
smallest org, I honestly don't care, PvP just isn't as fun for me
personally if I'm not outnumbered, otherwise, where's the challenge?
Especially on a non-hostile server. Being so vastly outnumbered forces
us to think strategically and be more organized. Or when we're solo it
truly forces use to think on our feet when we flag up, which makes us
the better players in the end for it.
