The Matrix Online : Tales
Ingus's Log - 2
The Merovingian Echelon
This is Commander Ingus of the hovercraft Sinergy within the Dark Mavericks Merovingian faction. Back again for another login just coasting through ol' abandon sewer tunnels and whatnots.
Well when Ingus last left off he was slappin' Blueskywalkers--
Operator - Uhm, sir... they were called "Sleep Walkers".
Ingus - Oh, yeah, that's right. Sleep Walkers.
Well anyway Ingus had just wrapped up deploying beat downs to these unhappy blue pill campers from the
gutters of Richland all the way to ghettos of westview.
Eventually Ingus had to hit some of the city parks to assist other Mero ops as they did battle with these Cypherite Extremist... After the dust settled for a bit.... Ingus got tired of fighting those goofy bastids so he left the park, jacked out and took a nap
Ingus isn't exactly sure what happened in the end... just some chatter about knocking out spotlights and eliminating security guards. Ingus can remember knocking out a spotlight on accident and getting tackled by a security guard but nothing special... now.... moving along.
It's another week, another day, another month.... moving along with time.
There are things that still remains on the minds of our enemies and potential recruits to the Merovingian organization.
Such as, in the desert of the real, where do we live, our bases, hoverbarges, hovercrafts, power stations etc.... How do we avoid the Machines and their relentless pursuit of those in our ranks?
Well, Ingus will share some itty bitty insight on how the otherside of the Merovingian organization that co-exists with the thousands of Zion cave monkeys in the desert of the real right underneath their noses.
The Machinist report on their dog leashes to Zero One and other installations. Nothing special or important. Just boys and girl scouts doing their duties
Zions and their techno raves in caves... Nothing special down there.
Anyway, Ingus will take a moment to mask his hovercraft signal with a Zion tracer....
#303WEARETHEZERG
Transmission complete.
We Meros do have hidden cities, bases, villages or whatever comes to mind.
Ingus - Operator, make a left.
Operator - You got it.
Zions get Mero redpills too confused with our Exile counterparts. Judging by the way they look or dress. Which is irrelevant if you ask Ingus.
We are just like Zion redpills just not narrow-minded like them
We fight for what we believe in just as Zion does.
We believe in the Matrix and like the Machines will fight to protect it.
While Zion fights for this:
Operator - Commander, we're approaching the surface.
Ingus - Proceed.
Will you look at this place? Who was the real cause of this damage and devastation?
It wasn't the Machines. That's for sure.
"Human Nature". That's more like it and more accurate.
The Machines didn't strike first. Blame it on human nature and their fear for what they don't understand. Such as the Machine's artificial intelligence and its rapid growth.
The Machines just wished to co-exist with their human creators.
But nooooo. Human Nature had to kick in and they had to hender the existence of this new Machine civilization blossoming among them.
So they tried to take away the Machines power source. Great idea
Darken the pretty blue sky.
Be'cause' you couldn't have your way....
The 'effect' was the entire planet suffering.
Good job Humanity ;/
Ingus has many Exile friends that were former War Machines during their existence on earth before being scheduled for deletion. These very Exiles fought in that great war. Some even logged footage from the war:
The Human race they tried to co-exist with, seeked to destroy all of their kind no matter the cost.
Those Machines that now exist as Exiles today resent Zions for this. Especially since now in the Matrix, Zions' human nature attempts to destroy their kind once again... and seeing that they survived the great war and their Machine masters rendering them obsolete, it makes them even more angry.
Their thriving will to rid their final frontier, the Matrix of Zion parasites is what drives them.
Operator - Commander, we've reach the jump station. Echelon is ready for teleportation.
Ingus - Go.
It's a pity what human nature has done to this world.
Echelon Operator - Echelon transportation complete. Welcome aboard.
Ingus - Thank you, Echelon.
Ingus - Operator, alert the faction and tell the crews to restock on food and recharge our hovercraft power cells. We return to Earth in 23:00 hours.
Operator - Yes sir.
Welcome to Echelon, a Merovingian installation not of this world
We Meros tend to think outside the box. Especially Ingus.
With careful collaboration between Exiled-Machines that serve the Merovingian outside of the Matrix and Merovingian Redpills... such as highly skilled engineers, astronauts, and many other redpills offering their technological assistance....
The Merovingian organization has managed to create several outpost that orbit the scorched earth. Up here we have broadcasting transmission like no other that allows us to hack into the matrix without the Machines having the slightest clue of detecting our locations.
We are even developing plans to establish an outpost on the moon... heh. Ingus always said he was gonna go to the moon one day. Those words might hold true.
There's no caves down these corridors or goop soup kitchens. This Merovingian colony has manage to salvage and regrow many fruits and vegetables from the food groups. Especially soy beans
And down these halls are our communication posts and defense system protocols.
And last but not least..... Ingus's fellow Merovingian redpills:
We live as long as we want in the Matrix and are free to jack out and exist on the Echelon if we choose to. However, many of us are jacked in full-time
Though our options are limited due to the situations we live in... we are free to the choices availible and not force to fight for the cause of Zion as soon as we are so-called "freed" from our pods and the "dream world" a world of deception if you let them tell it.
Self-proclaimed freedom fighters pssh... It sickens Ingus down to the core.
Hypocrites is more like it.
Zions stay jacked into the Matrix more than we do. They're all around us now.... dancing and shooting at local clubs. Wining and Dining at restaurants claiming they're going to do whatever it takes to dismantle the Matrix all the while, satisfying their guilty pleasures.
Ingus sees right through bull$hit no matter how much the stink tries to mask its true intentions.
Zions should thank the Matrix for its existance. Though you're grown by the Machines and not born. The Matrix moderates "Human Nature" from destroying the entire human race and the world around them.
This is home. Don't seek to ruin it the way Earth was ruined.
Echelon Operator - Commander Ingus, Additional broadcasting stations have been added to the outpost. Do you plan on jacking in today to try out your signal?
Ingus - Today? More like, Now.
Ingus sits in Echelon broadcasting seat for field operations.
Echelon Operator - Where do you wish to jack in, Commander?
Ingus - Uhm, stick Ingus downtown somewhere... and while you're at it... just send Ingus to a hardline near a Zion doing something naughty.
Echelon Operator - Park East North.
Ingus - Hit it.
Ah... the good ol' Mega City.
Ingus loves it here.
It's the smell
And when the smell gets good...
You can always count on a stinkin' Zion Skunk to rear its ugly head... and seeing that Richland stinks like hell... especially Mara ewwww! We must preserve the rest of the Matrix.
*Boom* is all it takes.
Echelon Operator - Having fun, Commander?
Ingus - Don' already had it.
Echelon Operator - That's too bad seeing that more of them have shown up at the hardline.
Ingus - If we keep betting when a Zion Zerg Rush is coming we're gonna put The Oracle out of business. ah well, alert the others.
Echelon Operator - Yes sir.
Ingus - No rest for the wicked.
