so, apart from the horrible
carnage it wreaks, my favourite bit about dev fielding is that little
ominous melody that sounds briefly right when u cast it. :robotvery-happy:

Dev Field was even more fun if you had it during early retail, when most people didn't have good VD. Seeing 10+ people get Dev Fielded was a glorius sight! SMILEY

i agree, the sound of it sounds really cool, they came out with code shock also, but that doesn't sounds as good as dev field or crash.

yeah it only takes like 20 minutes to cast......Don't you just love it...:smileyhappy:

Back before CR2.0 Dev field was great, now the cast timer makes it very innefficient. By the time youve finished casting someone shot you and cancelled the launch.

You have to be perfectly clear to use it.

Yah, the cast duration pretty much renders it useless. I actually saw someone use a Dev field and hit a few people in PvP the other day, though. SMILEY

I used to use dev field as a trump card, but with the timers it has now, I just work out of howitzer and get more moves off that way that do almost the same amount of damage.

I'll state it, but I know no one will care... Hacker needs to not be a support class, or at least it's attacking trees need more teeth (seriously there is flat out attacking trees in hacker, they should be considered "support" SMILEY

This is possibly the most necro'd thread I've ever seen..

And I haven't seen alot of this attack for a while, so I guess people have moved on to MKT/Assassin now.
