Fall of the Father,

One, two, three... everything checked out alright. That was good. There could be no mistakes now, no turning back. Tosuno weak, pale hand reached across the consol, carefully, slowly placing every piece of data where it should be, flawlessly creating what everyman desired, yet none would ever attain. here, in his sanctuary, his tomb, death fought hard to break him. His body shook. Cold, everything was cold. Though painful to look, he watched his breath fade away.

The ship, Seraphim, had little power left. Still, the poison leaked from deep within the beast, corroding everything. Resting silently within the darkness, underground, lost to everyone. The air itself froze as it grew colder and colder. Yet still, Tosuno remained, still, he fought.

His weak eyes shut, thinking back, he could see their faces now. His friends, even his family. The constant battle against the darkness, to save his loved ones. Every time, it was a victory, but every time, something was lost. It came back, and it would never stop coming back. Not even he could fight it any longer.

A tear fell down his face as his eyes opened once again, glazed over, his once blue eyes looked over the single screen that now left him with a choice. Choice brought him this far, but if that were true, then this would be his last decision, ever. In the end, he was, after all, only human…

Standing, his tiresome bones cracked, his whole body protested in pain. At the end of the long corridor awaited his final destination, his final resting place. The timer was running, but every tic of the clock seemed hours apart. His stride was that of defeat, beaten, broken, this warrior had no fight left.

The chamber open slowly, the pressure released with a hiss. Taking one final bow, Tosuno placed himself within the mechanical coffin. If they were ever to remember him as anything, may they remember him here, as he was before. A defender, a hope, a soldier. He preyed they would forgive him for the sins he had committed, and would still commit in the future. This, after all, was not the end.

The chamber closed slowly, and the jack plugged securely into the back of his head. It was a comforting feeling now, the only comfort he had left. Now, reminded of all he was, regret slowly began to sink in. Though, to late it was, as the gas slowly filled the chamber, and his mind plunged into the darkness he had fought for so long.

The Hover craft Seraphim now lay, barely any power remained in the reactor. Just enough to run the final program. The Seraphim delivered it’s final object to the Matrix system. Tosuno had died. Now, all that was left was the Black Angel. Who was left now, to fight it…

The rise of the Black Angel.

Step by step, Tosuno walked down the streets of Lucero Point, an unnerving silence to his steps. His head hung low, deep in though, his hands comfortably wrapped within his coat pockets. Now and then he would wipe away the rain from his sunglasses with his sleeve.

All that was on his mind was the answer to the question that had been eluding him for the past few nights.

Tosuno lifted his vision to meet that of a skulking Bluepill down the way, whom instantly drew his coward gaze down to the ground. The man did not appear at all "well off," dressed in dirt and rags. he was leaning in against a bench that sat under a small awning. His body shivered slightly, and Tosuno could not help but find the image somewhat amusing. He smirked as he walked by, though carelessly ignored the Blue Pill.

Them, he heard a familiar sound. His body shivered slightly at the sensation, as the system shifted around him. Tosuno stopped, his smirk turning to grin momentarily, then back to match the rest of his apathetic face.
Thunder rippled far off in the distance.

"Well... well... well. Mr. Kahr." The cold voice shot from behind him. Tosuno looked over his shoulder casually, no longer looking back at the pathetic Blue Pill, but rather an all to familiar middle aged man in a suit.

"Agent Lee." Was all he said, nodding his head slightly.

Tosuno had a history with this Agent. A long time ago, a rivalry was formed between these two. Ever since Tosuno's first encounter with an Agent program, Lee has been there to hunt Tosuno down. Though, neither of them would admit it, they were always, in some way, excited by the idea of fighting each other.

Lee stepped foreword ready to grab Tosuno, but was suddenly grabbed himself as a ghostly pale hand reached over the Agents shoulder. The Agent turned quickly ready to strike, but was to late. The unknown attacker thrust his fist into the Agents chest, driving him back in to the hold of Tosuno.

"Lee... This time, you'll be the one to run away," Tosuno whispered under his breath to the Agent as he tried to get free. To Lee's surprise, he could not escape the humans hold.

Then something came over the Agent he had not felt before. His body felt stone, and cold. A pain in his chest slowly grew until it was nearly unbearable. Though paralyzed, the Agent was able to lower his site enough to glimpse the blackness that was beginning to consume him. Like a shadow, the enigma moved over his body, arms, legs, and eventually consumed him entirely.

Tosuno dropped the eclipsed figure, and the blackness began to fade away. What was left of the Agent was gone now. Once again, the Blue Pill from before stood, but changed. his skin was able, like a ghost. Hair, bleached white, and eyes, black and soulless. His clothing had even changed to jet black style of the original rags. The Blue Pill turned to face Tosuno, as did the original attacker of the Agent who aided Tosuno, whom looked a similar fashion to the now viral infected Blue Pill.

Tosuno pulled his sunglasses down his nose, looking over the two men through his poison yellow eyes. A flick of his wrist, and a wave of his hand, and the two figured faded to shadow. Tosuno looked up, the rain still fell, but it was beginning to lighten up. Finally, the answer came to him.
