I'm sure that if you don't know what I've done, you'll find out soon enough. Tonight I... I killed one of your comrades.  He hadn't had his jack reconfigured yet - no clue why Colt waited so long to extract him....

I'm sorry.

I thought I was better than this... but I'm not. I hunted him down and blew him away without stopping to think about it... and I hate myself for it.

I want it to be made clear that I was the one that gave the order to kill him. Not SIMLO, not the Watchmen... it was all me - those that trusted me meerly followed. Leave them out of this.

I know my appology is worthless to you. I know I can write off every last friend I had left in Zion, and nothing I do will ever change that. If you guys want revenge... I understand. Come and get me.

Don't be so hard on yourself, dear.

To quote a well known phrase, "Actions speak louder than words".

Zion, give him hell.

You don't have any excuse for you did Star...I saw what you did with my own eyes. You even tried to tell me, that you was sorry for what you did.....but now you are instead Zion's number 1 target. We will get you, SIMLO and everyone else who now have bloods on his hands after this.

Orders are orders Star, and we just got the rights to give you hell...and we will.

I know... I deserve it. Leave simlo and the others out of it, they had nothing to do with it... please... they don't deserve this!

Such a shame.

How can you live with yourself, knowing what you did?

Knowing that they would come after you.

That you could've ended more lives, knowing it wouldn't make a difference in the minds of the Zionites who are after you.

Good luck.

SIMLO was flagged for elimination, so whatever happened, he deserved something of a beating. Glad it was my boots that could provide that.

You, on the other hand... I thought you were better than this, too. I gave you a warning. I told you to leave. I even told my forces to hold their fire against you unless you engaged EPN or Zion's forces in combat. I'm prepared to rescind any standing cease-fire orders I've given to protect you from any attack on our part. The only reason I'm even considering having my troops still hold their fire is that I almost think you're just trying to pick a fight.

I suppose if that's really what you want, then that's precisely what you'll get. A win-win situation for everyone.

There is still a way, of course, that I could forgive you for this, but... really... I can't see you going through with it. Loyalty of this depth to your own cause proves that you'll never change.

Good day, Starschwar, and watch your back.

I don't want sympathy from Cypherites, nor the forgiveness of Neonites... I want those I wronged to make things right.

Starschwar killed an enemy soldier.

He has commited no crime.

He fallowed orders.

Just as we would in killing him. Does that make us murderers?

There's no way to make things right in death. Your crime is permanent.

We see death every day, we kill every day--only it isn't real... except for the rare cases like this.

I advise you to figure out a way to turn yourself into a cloud of flies.

Careful, dear.  All this talk of vengeance is cracking that moral high ground you so desperately cling to.

I don't take lectures on morality from Cypherites--I'm not the one murdering people on their ships behind their backs.

Besides which, this really has very little to do with vengeance in my eyes. This is war, and I was already pushing it by holding my fire against Star for being a reliable friend in older days.

This is not just the death of a veteran operative--it's the death of any last vestige of the Truce that I held onto.

Welcome to the war your employers were so eager for.

Better get used to it because it doesn't look like its ending any time soon.
