I would like to see more Mero/Mech harmony, as we have worked together in the past, especially on Vector against the troglodyte hordes.

One big Franco-Italian family!  No caves and slop and bare feet for us!  Why?  Because we are.....civilized.

"I figure that means they still want something we can give them. We'll just see how bad they really want it."

A quote said in this Event by Veil about the Machines: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300010900

Makes you wonder if the Cypherites are up to something involving the Machines, doesn't it?

As for Zion Reacting to The Machines receiving Cypherite help, well I see why people are upset but this isn't a time to go to war against the Machines, since The General is still on the loose. Plus We also Have E Pluribus Neo backing us up on occasion, so need to fear the Tyranny of The Machines or Cypherites, we shall preveil.

On a side note, and just for the record, Merv Operatives only began attacking after we were provoked by the Machines.  I was going to merely just observe the situation and take notes for Le Patron, but apparently even in these rare occurences, they feel uneasy about sharing the same space in a civil manner with us.   No worries, c'est la Vector, next time I will not hesitate to act violently first.

Whilst I arrived during the hostilities..lets be honest here, after all the attacks on Gray and The Merv siding with The General, why should there be any kind of reprieve granted?

Secondly, in relation to the flack the Machinists are taking for trying to keep on good terms with the Cypherites: Veil is the most extreme Cypherite. Veil has orchistrated an attack on Zion's own hovercraft, this much is true. HOWEVER, if we get the Cypherites on board then they can continue where Cryptos left off, conducting themselves peacefully.

Nice to see Agent 'Pretty but bland' isn't wasting her time with trivialities, all this talk of what the machines 'could do' is amusing mostly because I agree they could achieve so much more but try as they might the best they seem to acheive is equilibrium....what they have in power they lack in imagination and now evolution is passing them by, linking with the Cypherites and their own short sighted philisophy is pretty much a no brainer.... doh lets try that thing...you know the one thats failed at least 5 times previously!

The bubble headed dim witted blonde appears to be directing operations!

Bah, more warmongering from the cave folk again.  Shall I light the torches and hand you the pitchforks?

In our eyes, the Merovingian operatives are enemies of the System; unless a higher threat or purpose is imminent such as working together to defeat the Unlimits or Agent Smith, then we should at least be working towards that end, that is, hunting down exiles and their employees. In that sense, it was a bit frustrating to say the least that Agent Pace barely acknowledged the Merovingian prescence because it went against the "plan," per se, of the event to fight Veil.

That's the attitude of Vector, though. When an event isn't orglocked, it's usually implied that the area must be secured -- especially when involving a Machinist presence. So that's what happened, and in the end most of us missed even watching the event, but /shrug. It may have been frustrating at the time, but I guess it's now incompatible to "secure the area" on Vector given that Machines are by far the minority org at present. From what I saw of the event, though, it looked pretty cool...

The Machines should not work with the Cypherites. Or even associate with them. The Cypherites have killed Zionite soldiers and set off an EMP inside of Zion. The Cypherites are sworn enemies of Zion. And any one that helps them should be considered truce breakers.

And if this isn't the case, then Zion should be allowed to help and assist EPN as they see fit.

Edit: I re-read the event. And I still don't think the Cyphs and Mechs should have anything to do with eachother. And the same would apply to Zion and EPN. And I hope Veil does have something up her sleeve. That way maybe the mechs will learn that the Cypherites are dangerous.

And if you trust Veil now...You'll trust anybody. Go machines! *waves flag*

Oh, what a tangled web we weave...

a) The Machines don't trust the Cypherites, especially now that Veil is running the show.

b) EPN and Zion do work together despite the Zion Council disavowing them.

c) Veil and Pace dueled.  Big whoop.

d) Let's not get into the issue of breaking the truce when the lines are clearly blurred on all sides.
