The window is switching tactics and THEN choosing your special.  Once your special goes through or not, then switch to what you want and use your next special.  The "exploit" is when your special goes through, then you quickly switch to something before the damage is done, hence affecting the damage output.

I was going to post something about how this is done, but, duh.

In any case, it does work for DOT's, and it does work in or out of IL.

Switching tactics outside of interlock has not yet been deemed an "exploit", since whatever tactic you end up on is what the damage output is used.

And I just said how it's done with DoTs.. no one will (should) complain about it though since the damage is the same, regardless of tactic used.  They could complain about the person being in block and doing the same about of dmg though I suppose.

I was about to come along and continue the discussion, clarifying points and such, just like you guys have been doing and then I remembered that technically this discussion is against the rules because it informs people how to 'exploit'.  Considering the level of moderation lately I'm surprised this hasn't been locked down or heavily edited already.  I'd like to continue the discussion but for the sake of paranoia I want to know Jurymen's stance on the issue.

Jurymen, is continued discussion about this 'exploit' going to result in action against any of the participants or do you deem that under the circumstances this conversation may continue?

To be on the safe side I think it would be best to halt any conversation about this topic until we can get a member of the Customer Service team here to make an official ruling. For now I will put a lock on the thread but at the same time I will send a message off to Brewko and see what he thinks about it.
