For a few of us the marketplace is a nice shopping mall to go to when we want something but cant code it or simply see what or if people listed a good item cheap. Sometimes even a few really good deals pop up from someone not knowing what prices are. (example dragonsking for 2 millin info i found one day) We can buy clothes, weapons, codebits/frags, health pills. The list goes on. It is also a place to post items for others to buy. Like those silly marbles the sleepwalkers drop or the guns the npcs drop. You just simply run to a hardline go to the marketplace and then start selling. And hope it sells before the 25 days or so is up and the marketplace takes it to their backroom never to be seen again.

Oh did you post the item for sale then realize you need it or want to decompile it? Dont worry you have 3 days to take it off the market for the original listing fee. After that it goes up in price to delist it. Be warned this is not a place to store items thats what you email is for. The higher you list a item the more the delist price is.

However with that said, There has been some of us that see a item and start clicking the giant green buy button on the right side to buy all of the item at such a great price, and then the infamous marketplace lag kicks in. We end up buying the next item on the list we didnt want.  And it ends up costing us 125 million info for a lousy unarmored black dress shirt. We cuss out loud sometimes so loud maybe people playing can hear us. BUT there is a solution. Albeit it would be nice if that big intriguing buy button did it to. But while the devs work on that. (or dont)

Here is the solution to make sure you never buy something you dont want.

(( would like to also mention that in the top right corner is a more button. If this is green when shopping for a item I suggest clickng it until it fades out. This adds more to what is available to purchase and digs deeper into the inventory of what people are sellin. Which in return finds better stuff and cheaper stuff. ))

Open Marketplace at hardline,   Decide if you want to look for code or other items. We dont want any code this time. So we select items.

Choose what you want to buy. We will buy a pair of pants. So click Apparel.

Then pants and Skirts

Then click the green more button in the farmost upper right corner next to the refresh symbol, to get all pants/skirts available. Then find item you want to buy. Then highlight the picture on the item so the item description comes up. Then you know your on the right side of menu. (the left side) DONT CLICK BUY BUTTON

Double Click item you want to buy on the picture of item (not the buy button) and the window shows asking if you are certain you want to buy item

WALLAH YOU MADE PURCHASE WITHOUT LOSING EXTRA INFO ON MAKING A PURCHASE YOU DIDNT WANT

You also might want to mention having to click the More button a bunch of times just to see everything offered in the chosen category *shakes fist at marketplace*

Or you can not lag and accidentally click something.

Yeah...not really trying to be mean, but was this really needed?  Lag is what usually makes people buy things...or they click too many times.  I don't really think we needed a guide...

Doing it the way shown prevents buying the wrong thing due to lag, which is the point. Lag occurs for most people with the MP.
Having a window like that appear, regardless of the way it's done, will prevent buying the wrong thing due to lag. In fact only those who aren't paying attention to what they're doing would buy something like say a code bit for a few million.

I feel it was since over the last few months I have heard or know numerous people that have spent anywhere from 25mil to 200 mil on a itme due to lag. Doing it this way prevents "lag-clicks" as you also need to click the purchase button on the window that pops up. So why not make a guide and put in red-pill rescue so new players know this and save money that they need when starting out. Plus they are also brought aware that there is a marketplace for buying better gear, and its not just gotten from vendors, drops. IF the mods wish to move this to guides let them. BUt i felt its better off here to help more people. I dont know maybe its me but I like to help new players and I almost always get asked how or where they can buy new clothes, abilities, etc.

What i don't get is why people do put things up for so much. Vectors MP is fairly dead. The only items that tend to be up are well overpriced things. 1 Shuirken = 10 mill, 3 = 40. Its crazy lol I tend to try and match an opposing item when i'm putting things up (sometimes better purity etc for less SMILEY)

I'v never accidentally bought off MP but its good to know that you can double click but the Buy botton really should have a confirmation on it.

I just hope this will help make people not make the error and help lower the amount of items put on the marketplace for hopes this will happen.
