Did everyone get one of these emailed to you over the weekend? I did... and I really hope this is a regular thing! =) Enjoyed reading it! Virrago has certainly done a lot for this community as you can see. It says we will be getting one of these quarterly! =D
Or did anyone 'Not' get one that needs it? I just wanted to make sure everyone saw it. Make sure you are registered to recieve updates/newletters/etc in your account.

Welcome to The Matrix Online Community Uplink Newsletter – your quarterly source for the latest information regarding the game and its devoted players!
There’s been a lot going on in The Matrix Online these past few months! We’ve turned a year older, released some great new content, continued to advance and add twists to the storyline, hosted great in-game events and even added new features to the Web site to spotlight our online community!
So read on, Operatives, to get up to speed on all the excitement!

Happy Birthday to us! March 20th through April 3rd, The Matrix Online went into celebration mode. In honor of the game’s three year anniversary, the ‘Smith Virus’ made a return and was leaked into the Matrix causing all kinds of infection and havoc.
Operatives ‘jacked in’ to hunt down Smith Viruses and collect code fragments that could be traded in for any of 12 new t-shirts, the newly introduced Smith Firewall Candy or other goodies.
But wait... there’s more! To prolong the celebration, we hosted a big in-game party on the Syntax server on the eve of March 14th, attended by Walrus, Rarebit, Virrago, Dracomet, 9mmfu, Moonlite, and Brewko. They spent their time celebrating the anniversary with players by dancing with them, posing for pictures, and even handing out anniversary cookies.
Players boogied down to the rockin’ tunes provided by The Matrix Online Internet radio station RMC:Terminal -- who also held contests to give away The Matrix Online hats, posters and more! An amazing time was had by all... but don’t take our word for it. Check out the links below to see for yourself!

Cool new content keeps making its way into The Matrix Online and Updates 58 and 59 were no exception. With these updates, came the addition of the new "Datamine" construct – a PvP free-for-all area where players can attack and even be attacked by members of the same organization!
Of course, there are also other advantages to this new area of the game. As its name might suggest, there are plenty of active data nodes for you to mine for $information in this construct.
There is even a new luggable Data Tap tool that will maximize the amount of $information you can mine while you have it in your possession – that is, if you can hold on to it! Beware – other players will be after the Data Tap as well and will do anything to get their hands on it!

Ever wonder who the real person is behind that agent you met in-game? Well, never fear because Operative Profiles are here! Every week we profile a different The Matrix Online community member so you can get to know them just a little bit better. Who knows? You might have a lot more in common with a fellow player than you think!

QUESTIONS
Mave - Theoretically, could you kill vampires with orange juice based on the claim that the beverage is made by harnessing the power of the sun?
Virrago – I would have to say no. Everyone knows that in The Matrix Online vampires are not affected by sunlight. So using orange juice as a weapon would only be a mild irritant and trust me, if you see a vampire, you don’t want to be throwing fruit at it to try and stop it. I suggest a nice wooden stake or some holy water instead.
NightTrace - If you had to play an LET character, which one would it be and why?
Virrago – If I had to play a Live Event Team character, it would be The Merovingian. He is totally my style. He always eats at the nicest restaurants, owns a nightclub, has an army of supernatural henchman, and he can make aphrodisiac cake….what more could you ask for?
SolidRevolver - Do you cut your sandwiches in half across or diagonally?
Virrago – Where do people find the time to slice up sandwiches? I’m lucky to have time to stop and actually make a sandwich! To save valuable time, I normally start shoving it in my mouth as soon as the two pieces of bread come together.

Everyone knows that in The Matrix Online, story progression is king. So what’s been going on lately? Well, in recent months, two mysterious "Intruders" have been introduced -- Halborn and Carlyne. Both have hidden agendas and are working against each other but towards what appears to be some unknown purpose.
Meanwhile, every organization in the Matrix seeks to acquire knowledge and advantages from these "Intruders" to aid their own agendas. The Machines seem to be helping Halborn, while Zion has befriended Carlyne. The Merovingian, of course, is trying to play both sides!
