Another dumb question...

I've always assumed from the description that the Sharpshooter Ab removes a penalty for firing at an opponent who is in IL with Someone Else.

A Factionmate recently stated that it removes a penalty for using Ballistics while you are in IL yourself.

Is one of these true, and if not, what does this ab do?

It's an old ability from CR1 that used to negate the penalty for using a gun while in Interlock.  While I'm sure it still does that function, the fact that there is no longer a penalty for using a gun in interlock makes this ability useless.

K, I already vented in my post about Armor piercing, and i kinda expected to find this out after that.

Thanks for clearing that up guys.

You'd think they could have at least gotten rid of the description, like they did with Multifighting and Crytography. You'd also think they could GET RID OF THESE ABILITIES PERIOD!!!!

Or maybe make a sticky in Redpill Rescue or soemwhere that lists all the things like these and HJ above lvl25 that don't work so that people can find them all in one place?

Come on! Am i paying money for this???

When Zen master "snuck out of the dojo" they never actually removed those abilities from the game either. I think they expected the ability buyback to take care of all that. Some people still have hyper strenght which never had a purpose ever. But at least they pruned the trees. But yeah, they should sticky some notifications about these useless things.

It's really bad that we actually have two moves that do absolutely nothing. I mean, *CENSORED* moves I can understand. But no function whatsoever?

There's more than two.  You're forgetting all the old CR1 moves they took out (if anyone kept them in storage, like me)

It is especially bad for low lvl players who lvl those abilities up!  at low lvls info is harder to come by and lvling up useless abs or lvling up abs beyond thier limits (like the HJ above 25 as mentioned above) eats badly needed info. 

someone should make a list of max lvls for abs and useless abs so that noobs can avoid that...any takers?
