I hate to rain on the parade but in my opinion this is a pointless addition, i appreciate the work gone into this and thanks for new content but i don't see the point and the time crating this could have been spent on something much more important.
I disagree. Crits are a very important element of MxO.
I welcome this, it's incentive to actually follow the story, which a lot of folks (myself included) have pretty much brushed aside over the past couple of years.
It's only due to running archive missions that I've been able to catch up properly, and I can't believe how much of the story I've missed!
I think it's pretty kewl... not great, but nice, anyone would be happy to have a way to get more IS... and a GOOD incentive to keep up on your crits, which everyone should be doing. I also am curious to phind out if they are tradable or not.
I think you people should appreciate what you get.
I think you people should appreciate what you get. It's something, and it's a nice something.
MattRobson, there is a lot of stuff in the patch. Seriously, no reason to complain.
I am going to wait till I see the Patch Notes next week but so far things are looking good for Update 60. Datamine may actually become a worth while construct on its own standing.
And I think the devs have knocked up enough pills for the creation of this to be a very quick creation time, and items have been given out at the end of missions before, just now Rarebit will have to add the pill as a reward to each crit and make sure he removes that reward when it is archived. I dont think a ground breaking amount of time has been spent on these pills.
Though some buffs need to change, the Quicksilver IS buff consumeable or this pill as one of them is going to be rendered useless and the last thing MxO is more useless content. (Not that the Quicksilver consumeable was widely used before now. Actually, looking at the Data Mine rewards aside from the Quicksilver Gloves and Overdrive Bandana, are pretty much unused, PSBs were used but now it is hard to find them as they can be destroyed and no one in their right mind would code one. But this is for another thread.)
