As title,

I have tried searching the forums for multifighting but nothing, and when i click on the ability IG no details. Now i am wondering if it is worth plugging in at all.....?

Many thanks

In a word "Nada"

It has no use since CR 2.0 launched, so dont waste any memory points on it.

Hopefully it will get some kind of resistance bonus once you go into interlock or something along those lines, but as it stands has no additional bonus at all.

/agree

It does nothing at this point, but hopefully in the near future they'll ad some sort of resistance or a small accuracy or damage bonus to it. Who knows. We can only pray for right now, though. :/

And to quell any potential complaining, it did have a function once. Before the combat revision, there was multi-on-one interlock combat, but it was removed because the length of the animations severely disadvantaged the one if he/she was also being fired/hacked upon from out of interlock. The ability negated penalties associated with multi-interlock combat.

Well it does something: it confuses every new player in the game.  Every new player I recuit for G7G ask that question. Don't know if changing ability descriptions is easy, but it'd cool if we could have a description text that says "this ability has no longer application" or something like that. Also, the sharpshooter ability, has no real meaning now.

Yep, they need to give thme some real meaning, or just remove them from the tree all together, or add some notes to say it has no purpose.

The description says it removes the penalty from firing into Interlock. Is there really a penalty if i have Rifleman loaded and I'm shooting at someone who is interlocked with one of my buddies? If so, does this Sharpshooter ability remove that penalty?

Nope, NoRepro confirmed as much as he could that this has no bearing on Guns inside IL ,again dont waste mem on it.

What about if i'm outside Interlock shooting at an opponent who is interlocked? the Description for Sharpshooter says removes the penalty from firing into Interlock.

So as of right now, there is no penalty for firing into (not inside) interlock in CR2?

Sounds like if that is the case sharp shooter needs it's description changed to TBD as well...

Could of sworn it actually worked in CR2... but now that you say it I do think I remember Rarebit saying something about how it did'nt work, or was'nt converted... something like that...

definate /sign on the description change.  I havn't been loading it anyway, however the description for it is very misleading.  It does very clearly state, removes penalty for firing "into" interlock.  Not everyone has the time or would think to troll the boards to veryify the validity of an abilities description.  Imho this change should deffinately be on the list for a near future patch, for the sake of the nubs.
