What this is, s a voice of concern over a Beta item being given to everyone else, and for no good reason (that I can perceive). Those things given to Beta players are also being given to new trial players. The outcry would never have happened if they were given something else like a unique piece of unbuffed trial clothing unobtainable anywhere else.

1) If it does, based on this evidence it will be passed round to everyone else at some point.2) Yes, give the veterans who weren't in Beta something for their efforts, but not those things which were given to Beta players. 1) Well yeah but doesn't everyone become a veteran at some point though? That's the burden of time. imo. Where do we draw a line in the sand at whose a veteran and who isn't?
2) True, there is no apparent reason to give everyone Mobius and HJB but that doesn't take away from my Mobius and HJB. I've had mine for years. Every time I roll out an alt, HJB is staring right at me. I won't have to dive into DM and get ganktified to get it. I think that's pretty much a reward in itself XD

1) I agree. Everyone becomes a veteran over time, and so deserve recognition in the form of a special item, for instance. What they shouldn't receive is something restricted to those who were in Beta, it completely illegitimises their tenure. If Hyper Jump was always the plan, then it should at least be declassified as 'Beta', and something else should have already been in position to replace it.
2) There's no apparent reason, and therein lies the reason for questioning this action.

1) Agreed. It no longer qualifies as a "beta-only" ability. The name should be changed though I don't foresee it happening.
2) I question it as well but I'm hopeful this means Rarebit might have something in store. I'll remain optimistic as always.

I shall provide the Yang. Optimism does not become me.

Declassify Hyper Jump 'Beta', give Beta players something equally as useful and I may be sated enough to indulge Garu's twisted fantasy.
Just once. No cameras.
I very much doubt that any new abilities made now will be given to a specific set of players only... unless... Org abilities...
Which is where the tragedy lies, and therefore the injustice. I share your doubts entirely.
This is a rare (no pun intended) error.
Hey, I'm all for it. I think it's a brilliant idea that could've only come from our developers! In fact, if we're going to do it, let's do it right.Trade in 40 Gum Sticks: Get Mobius Code.Trade in 40 Gum Sticks: Get Hyperjump Beta.Trade in 80 Gum Sticks: Get Beta Cap.Trade in 80 Gum Sticks: Get Beta Shirt.Trade in 80 Gum Sticks: Get Beta Boots.Trade in 80 Gum Sticks: Get Beta Pants.Trade in 80 Gum Sticks: Get Beta Glasses.Trade in 100 Gum Sticks: Get Beta Jacket.Trade in 100 Gum Sticks: Get Beta Gloves.Trade in 100 Gum Sticks: Get Blue Sky Frags.Trade in 100 Gum Sticks: Get Blue Sky Cap.Trade in 100 Gum Sticks: Get Blue Sky Shirt.Trade in 120 Gum Sticks: Get Security Cap.Trade in 120 Gum Sticks: Get Security Shirt.Trade in 150 Gum Sticks: Get Flit Gun.Trade in 200 Gum Sticks: Get Neo RSI Frags.Trade in 200 Gum Sticks: Get FM-1500.Trade in 250 Gum Sticks: Get Assassin Mask.I mean, let's forget our petty elitism and desire for veteran rewards of any kind, alright? Because for most of us, playing this game for four years should not deserve us rewards when we're so lucky for the game to have lasted this long. Now stop complaining, ingrates! Smile, nod and applaud the immense work that went into developing this wonderful new content for us, and be pleased that it exists! They work so hard for us, the least we can do is say thank you!
If they EVER make Beta Clothes collectable or tradeable, again, I'm out of here.-Siepher
