Although they operate in the greatest secrecy, the Archivist Society cannot conceal all evidence of their vastly increased activity level, including that of their most notorious member, Hypatia. Is this spurred merely by an interest in extracting greater profits through the exploitation of their collection of archaic data, or is there some other motive at work?

It was a team win and Se7 did /sit on his own.

The 200mill was divided between ghostxx, jard, old and se7.

I didn't keep any so F off. I have billions 200mill is pocket change.

I wasn't there but before people go off the wall and *poop* I wanted to say this in defense of Balance. We know pvp. We know how to win. Balance is a very strategic faction both in events and pvp alike. I don't believe any one of my factionmates in Balance would deliberately pull some shady *poop* for any reason. Even though this thread has absolutely nothing to do with me, it does in a sense because it involves a faction I'm in. Don't call it cheap unless you know the facts. I don't run with cheapasses in any faction I roll with ..that's why I feel like this 2 cents is needed. Cap you are entitled to your own thinking and I'm not degrading you or anything so don't take it personal.

Grats, my peoples in Balance,may the best win and here's my cq. SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" />

((nice screens Rare...Malphas))

Eh, in a contest of individual skill, teaming up for a better chance of winning would be considered "rigging it"

But meh what do I know? I'm elderly and bewildered.

It's very cool of the Archivist Society to take an interest in the opinions of those who frequent the Archived Constructs in order they may improve it in a fashion more towards their tastes, if indeed, any such improvement is needed.

Well, Tranque ..think of it this way

it's like The Gauntlet only in an mmo...you gotta strategize for your own kills effeciently even if that means teaming up and then out doing your friends or voting them off the island to win...

we need more than just Datamine like this imo...it should be ffa no matter where when we /pvp

*plus it would be more cqs to stroke our pvpness without org hopping or having to log on with different rsi's every 2 seconds*

They can say what they want.

There was 2 Balance member left, so we were gonna win anyways.

Fact is the team got info from this and none of us needed the info anyways.

"Sh*ts and Giggles" is what it's all about.

That was very interesting.  I had fun reading Sharas' dialogue :)

Intriguing event.  Nice of the Archivist Society to do a little follow up survey on the goings-on inside the Datamine.  They have certainly allowed me to become wealthier than previously, which is much appreciated.

Anyway about the event, aka The Survey: It's good that Rarebit asks these questions and hopefully keeps them in mind for whatever future projects are in his crazy head. I like the Archivist Society bits of story but, like almost all or most of the programs/exile gangs, I'd love to see a lot more backstory on them.
