Unexpected patch?

On monday the game patched with a significant update. No patch notes
released and asking around I was the only one to whom it happened. The
patch was quite large with sounds, images and other stuff. The game
version however remains the same with people who didn't get this patch.
The same thing happened to a friend

on Sunday night. Any clue?

I remember downloading a small patch after the last announced patch. It only seemed to patch the launcher mind you...

i played yesterday on monday and there was no patch, but the hotfix is a few days old.^^

well, i got a patch last night too for some reason, and i had already
gotten the most recent patch awhile ago, so i don't know what's up, but
mine wasn't very long it was fairly short but it was downloading sounds
and whatnot as well. don't know what's up :smileytongue:

seems as if they havent changed the matrix.exe file since 16th
september. suppose that doesnt stop them adding other files without
modifying the matrix.exe file..

Or you could try the dev tracker, its not been confirmed but walrus said some new files were needed for the next event. So is it a coincidence that she downloaded a load of new files or could it be the event files?

anyway, thats just me putting 2 and 2 together.

note: Walrus said that more information should be available soon and the event can be released when testings ready. Hopefully thats soon.
