Vector

• red all the time
• pros: red all the time, pvp outside of Mara is significantly more fun / less stale
• cons: smaller population, pvp outside of Mara is getting rarer and rarer these days
• cons: permaflagged and a constantly changing dominating org has led to overuse of sneak
• cons: despite the perma flag, tons of people HJ away. since face/follow was nerfed fleers get away nearly guaranteed
• cons: dwindling population means that over the years the more hardcore players have stuck around. this has led to players who USED to be above average thinking they're gods; most players fall into the group of non-PVPer or IAMTHEBESTEVERUSUK
• pros: most players having leveled up on Vector are used to getting ganked
• pros: PVP events draw a following that wouldn't necessarily happen on the other servers
  
• cons: over the past few months especially, with the dwindling playerbase and multiorg factions, there has been a large movement towards semiformal factional alliances rather than each org for their own.

Syntax

• red some of the time
• pros: non forced flag environment allows for a wide range of nonPVP events, griefing is considerably lessened
• cons: most all PVP is at Mara or in constructs; this gets stale.
• cons: many players have little to no PVP experience; when they happen to flag up they can cry for ages afterwards
• cons: blue sniper shots and such make PVP cheap. (parallel to vector's heavy reliance on sneak)
• cons: after dying, a team can just hardline straight back through and rebuff (but hey some factions on Vector try to do this too)
  
• pros: many people consider it taboo to HJ away from a fight
• pros: blue servers tend to have more dueling and build analysis
• pros: more balanced PVP, since most people only flag when they have the numbers
• cons: less frequent PVP, since most people don't flag if they don't have the numbers
• cons: pilling and such is more frequent
• cons: the presence of a large player group that doesn't PVP makes many of the PVPers think they're TEHBESTEVER by comparison

After leveling characters and PVPing on all the servers, that's my two cents. Some differences but also a lot in common.

It wasn't even a close match. I believe the prevailing feeling was that we Vectorites felt like we were mowing through a Team of noobs we caught missioning that made the mistake not to run.

If Bayamos woulda posted 2 days ago we coulda avoided all the ugliness, I blame SC for this threads failure!
