In the most recent cinematic, we see the dichotomy of attitudes between Anome and Cabolco.  The Unlimits have gained an immeasurable amount of power, and they are plotting to take over the matrix.

On one end of the scale, Anome, due to his past, wishes to use this power to rule through fear.  By showing bluepills (and redpills) the danger he is capable of, he wishes to impose his own form of control.  Obey us, or else...

On the other end, however, we see Cabolco contently watching the sunset as the rest of the group plans their next attack.  He interjects and tries to reason with Anome, suggesting that they could be "worshipped as heros", even if it means staging a rescue to win the affections of the, er... pod potatos.

Which side of the scale do you find yourself on?  Which do you feel would be more effective?  Feel free to answer in-character, or out-of-character, or both.

((aww... i liked coco SMILEY why did he have to die? :'( ))

fear, would have been necessary, but it would have been better to have worship, with a small hint of fear, or perhaps, fear of them not being there? by staging a rescue, the unlimits would have been thought of like superheroes, and the public (most of them) would have wished to have them stay, if they found out that we (redpills) where planning to kill them, they may have interfered, and could have been used to their advantage, now the unlimits have lost almost all potential outside help.

coco was right. in short ^^

Even without the codes Redpills weild powers that make them better than any bluepill, they should be made to see what we are and pay proper respect. Fear, envy and adoration are but a whisper apart so both strategies have potential but certainly in Anome's case he has shown himself unable to deliver the goods and his bretheren unworthy of the gifts they have..... I can think of much better recipients!
