Concerning spoilers in this thread, I dont mind them but I'd like to keep it to spoiling things that have already happened.

After seeing the first 4 episodes, I believe that the "best season of 24" may actually be correct. It feels more personal and there are a lot of good and interesting things going on already. The actors all seem very good and the setting really couldn't be better.

That was INTENSE.  I didn't think I could love this show more than I do now, but those 2 hours just changed my mind.  Not sure what my feelings are about them portraying Walker as a sort of female JB, but I will give it time and see what happens.  The confrontation between Emerson and Jack when it comes is gonna be awesome.  Chloe was spot on tonight.  And the little convo between Jack and Tony about breaking Tony's neck was hilarious.  I can't wait till next Monday.

Id ram Special Agent Renee Walker in the pooper. I actually like her hypocrasy and how she questions Jack on how he can do what he does, and then she sticks a gun to his cut and cuts his Oxygen flow. Pretty nice stuff. I actually hated Jannis Gold, she is disgusting and needs to go like ASAP. Agent Moss is actually refershing, like an FBI version of Mason.

I love the First Gentelman's storyline, its pretty refreshing, im kinda indiffrent about the whole whitehouse storyline but theres room for improvement. I love how Jack said basically, screw with me and I turn you all in. Pure awesomeness.

I think she saw how well Jack's methods work and decided she would try them out.

There is a sweet line by Jack in the promo for tonight's episode.

Apparently Jack makes it in to see the president some how...

President: How can I judge where your true loyalty's lie? (Or something to that effect.)

JB: With all due respect Madam President, ask around.

Owned! <3

Just finished watching the season finale what A wild ending!  I don't want to comment to much on it yet in case anyone else hasn't seen it.    2 thumbs up!

Haven't seen the last couple of episodes yet, but after watching through 20 episodes, there's one thing I don't understand:

What was it all about when they said they'd do some "radical changes" to 24? That season 6 was "the last iteration of the series in its current form", or something about "more personal"?

Huh? It's still your old war/diplomacy, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, moles in the CTU... err, FBI (big fking deal), Chloe secretly helping Jack from within this government facility, etc. etc.

Highly enjoyed the season, but I don't get what all the fuss about this "change of direction" is about - it's still reusing older plot devices and employing pretty much the same overall themes as all the seasons before.

well heres what im hearing what goes on for Season 8

Jack survives obvioulsy and CTU  Re openes in NYC i think this is my theory Renne finds out From the inttergations i forgot wh othe main bad guy name was they catpured at the end says theres a fall out plan if he captures and there will be a attack in NYC. dunno if thats true again just my guess but they did say it will be in NYC and Freddie prenz Jr will be taging along with jack as his new side agent to they confirmed that last week so the gap between 7-8 is supssovily severall weeks.
