Disk Operating System is an Operating System?? Now who is the hotshot?

But I dont wanna start a flame here, Im sorry for correcting you...

Will I ever see the 8 screens? Or is it just a blueprint?

Windows actually runs off the DOS system, so in technicallity, Windows is DOS.

Windows XP is no longer DOS based.

Yea I know, that's why they have a command prompt to open up the DOS *roll's eyes*

Windows has not ever changed their core kernel, they just keep adding more to it.

Where did you get the idea that those are dual GPU cards? They have dual DVI output, but only one chip per card....
Even the big system builders (Dell, Alienware, et al) don't have quad-SLI systems yet, and they'll have them long before you'll be able to buy hte individual cards required.

You need to do your homework, they are dual GPU cards, Want me to show you how it works?

I'm not trying to flame here, but no they're not.
They are just regular 7900GTXs. Overclocked yes, but still regular 7900GTXs. It says nowhere they're dual-GPU, even on the TigerDirect site you link to...

Actually that's a Command Prompt emulator. It's not a real DOS command prompt. And yes they have changed their core kernel. The NT kernel which Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003, and Vista are based was written completely from scratch for Windows NT. It is totally seperate from the 9x kernel.

I wrote about 5 long paragraphs of my opinion on this setup and Thanks to Lithium and MxO Webmasters I hit submit and it all disappeared. Thanks for correct ing this problem in such a timely manner, lol, right!

Another thing,  Why not get the 10,000 raptor harddrives?  Your spending that much money and getting run of the mill 7200rpm drives.

Also I hope the Mobo supports those Video cards. Those cards take up two slots each.

And Your cards aren't duel gpu, If they were duel GPU you'd be paying much more money. BFG Pays Nvidia alot of money for their gpu chip. Why would they put two chips on one card and sell it for the same price as a single cihp card. Your confusing Duel GPU with SLI.

One Last thing. Don't waste your money on that processor. You can get a processor for half that price and overclock it.  Go to any Computer Forurm out there and they'll call you a Noob for buying that processor.

None of the States in the US look like a glove. But if it's in the states then buy from Newegg. Save the money deal with possibly the best company out there when it comes to shipping.

I agree, at least 1 Raptor to put your OS on.

It does. Asus is one of the few that has extra space between they're PCI-e x16 slots. He'll be able to fit those cards, and have some breathing room between.

Exactly what I've been saying. Although I didn't look at the price SMILEY, but you have a point a dual-GPU card would cost $700 minimum, probably more around $800-900 IF they made them, which noone has, yet (at least not GeForce 7900 Dual-GPU).

True you can do that, BUT you have absolutly NO warranty. Basically with the FX-60 you're paying for the warranty, and the fact that it's unlocked.

Double checking your list (I should have really looked it over better SMILEY), you should really look into buying 2 1GB sticks of memory instead of 4 sticks of 512. With the 4 sticks you're limited to a 2T command rate which is SLOW.

Well at least with the other processor if he fries it he'll have enough to get another, lol! To be honest I overclock the hell out of my computer and have no issues.

OK got an idea get two 150 gig raptor drives for a total of around 500 dollars and then for your third drive get some 350 gig storage drive. bout the same price your paying now for yours.

Why in gods name do you need 4 X 400 gigs? Jeez They way your spending money while your at it buy me a few things because im poor.
