Crew Problems

I guess this comes under UI.

has anybody else got the problem where they can't create new crews, I get the error PS_SPDUPLICATECREWNAME which sounds obvious what the problem is but I get this error with every name I pick. I've been recently having a multitude of crew problems whereby I can't leave a crew/faction unless the crew is disbanded, if I leave or I get booted then I just jump back into the crew without an invite every time there is a server restart or patch.

Has anybody else had the same problem since I've send 4 ccr's now and no avail and it's getting really annoying since I can't join my faction as I'll screw up the crew I join.

Ugh, I know a few people with this bug. I think your crew stats for your specific RSI will lock up and not refresh.

So when you leave the crew you are still technically a part of it. Once every member logs out, including you, the crew will reset and place you back in it. This is why it happens during maintenance or patching, the servers are down and everyone is offline.

All you can do for the name problem is get someone else to make the crew, then promote you to captain.

already tried that and it wouldn't let the guy promote, the faction panel didn't show any1 as captain since the guy I created the crew with left and was stuck out of the faction till the reset and when it did he was put back as captain again.

it's also been happening for 3 months and I'm getting really annoyed about it now.

i think the only way to force a refresh of your crew data is to be recruited into 2 or more diffrent crews, then try making your own, thats worked for a couple of my friends.

Try to remember what crew you were with when this first happened. See if that crew has any problems, maybe it needs to be disbanded or you could ask a CSR nicely to modify the D-base to help you.

I've already asked the CSR's and I get the same old "it will be forwarded to the devs immideately" where it disappears into nothingness

I know quite a few people who have the crew bug and can't make a crew or stay in one for too long, i thought soe sorted this patches ago, but its back. Using /ccr's don't work either, their still bugged. Also the faction crew list is bugged as well, crew's that have left due to the bug are still showing on there.

yeh its because the server isn't updating properly, and it's getting tiresome since I wanna be back with my faction mates in Caus.

Yeah we had loads of problems when we needed to re-organise our Faction. We ended up having to disband the entire faction and reforming it.
