It is the question that drives redpills.....

What is Zion?

Those that fight for it believe it to be the salvation for human civilization.

Those in Zion consider the matrix a prison for the mind. Well Zion is a prison for the body. You've traded one matrix for another. So it's part of our jobs to re-enlighten you and give you what Zion took away.

"free will"

Zion is a feeble redpill society commanded by the home-growns that don't see eye to eye no matter how much they colaborate. They motivate themselves in cave raves and jack back into the matrix with a total lack of vision.

You see they only tell you what you want to hear. They share their goals to free bluepills within the matrix such as, teachers, businessmen, doctors, and lawyers.

But they fail to mention to you all the Serial Killers, Convicts, and Mentally ill Pyschopaths that they free right along with them... and along with you SMILEY

So together they stuff you into the city of Zion.. preach to you how sacred the last human city is... and let  you congregate among the same serial killers, convicts, and pyschos.. while letting you assume your safe.. when really they have placed you right in the crosshairs with some of the most dangerous people in your society.

A society that has lived on past its expiration date thanks to Neo.

A society that has grown corrupt, infested with beaucrats, and power hungry individuals that will betray and backstab anyone they see fit just to ascend their power and control in the Zion heirarchy.

Even if it means ridding themselves of a savior as Cryptos would say. Ingus wouldn't doubt if Zion would stoop as low as killing off the very person that saved you all.

*Chuckles*

Ingus wonders whom within the Zion organization Neo angered to merit such a fate.

Again, those of you in the Zion ranks that have lingering doubts in the back of your minds... there is still a chance to "free your yourself" from Zions' system of control.

Quit being pawns of their organization and seize your place in the next frontier for humans, the "Matrix".

When you were awakened, the majority of you, your first impulse was to fight for Zion. Now take your second impulse and free yourself of this reckless system of control... a corrupted society.,, the same corrupted society that seeks to reclaim the surface by any means... even if it means sabatoging the Matrix and killing the billions of bluepills along with it... or even if it means eliminating the very individuals that helped them:

The Oracle & Seraph.

You still have a choice.

Seek out the Merovingian and embrace your free will in the matrix or continue to rot in the desert of the real.

again...basing all this off of words of a fool. Machines and Mervs want to believe it so much they take the words of a fool as truth.

Actions speaks louder than words, and the insanity of Morpheus' last days tells us clearly that Cryptos' words are true. Zion can exist in denial for only a short time until the truth will puncture its fragile skin - remain and you will drown in its sea of corruption.

thats because you think morpheus is dead...once again trusting stuff that isn't true and basing your opinions off of that.

Please, I'm trying not to flame, or be negative, or like, well, just dont hate me.

Zion, is probably one of the most pointless forms of existence there is. It took me a while to realize it. Listen, when Zion retakes the surface (Which, if the machine's don't pwn zion again, they probably will) What will they do with it? Their is no point in retaking it, the machines were doing us a favor, they probably know of a way to retake the skies, their main power source, but they simply choose not to, especially when their current power source is working out very well for them. They gave us an illusion, both in the matrix and out. "A Prison for our minds" Not really a prison, it's a better luxury than geonocide. There was never a point in Zion, other than for the machines to give us a false sense of power, like we were actually DOING something. Zion failed seven times, what does that tell you? If Neo is still alive (which i think he is) what is his purpose? Zion is an illusion, no point.

And these are not words from a fool, their merely from a true believer, this isn't pvp nor RP based, im just talking on a more philisophical side.

Well, I'm tired so if i did say anything that made me seem like a fool, forgive me :robottongue:

Morpheus is dead.  I found his body, kicked it a few times and slumped it in the Machine human waste recycling center.  Our bluepill's are eating his remains right now.

So i guess in a way... he's not dead.... lawl.

What is there to fight for?

I won't expect a red to understand honour, brotherhood and our beliefs.

Zion may have its bad sides, but then again so does humanity as a whole. At least we are not being a lapdogs in the hope we get power or denying our very humanity because we are too scared to stand up for our own people.

I fight because I would not see my friends die, I fight because I could not forgive myself if i didnt and I fight for the legacy we were left by neo. He wasn't a god or a messiah but he showed us the way.

So you are fighting for your honor (pride) ... your brotherhood (those who've died) ... and beliefs (what's that?)

Machinists are the Zion of old.  We fight for a ever lasting peace between humanity and machine.  The Zion of today are pushing for a war to rid the planet of machines.  It's a cycle that you ****heads won't ever realize until it's too late.  Zion is just a big waste basket for all those "Ones" that never made it past a singualarity... a point in their lives that they choose or couldn't choose to be the One.  When your population expands to critical levels, the Machines will help you with population control.

Machinist don't have kids.  We are quasi-monks trying to keep the two entities from anhilating each other.  If anything, we have a purpose and Zionist don't.

I'd rather the Matrix sustain. Cogno has a point, machines do have a point, to exterminate Zion, and Other things of course. Zion is fighting a war they've lost seven times. The Merovingian has survived through every "restart" of the matrix and will continue doing so. Morpheus called it a prison for our minds, and yet, the real world is just as much a cell as the Matrix. And plus Zion is lame with all it's f*cking hacks.

May I remind everyone that it is because of Zion that you are here to even have a choice.  I respect machines, but to me, Merovingians are lost.  You have no purpose.  You are here to play devil's advocate, to keep the two main players in this war from coming to a truce.  You exist to serve a PROGRAM, not a real entity and you want to live inside a simulation.  Why sustain the matrix?  What real progress can be made in a simulation? How can you change the world that way? You stay there because you are too afraid to face reality.  Think about that.  As a zionist I fight for humanity to regain the ground it lost to machines.  Do I want to rule the world again? No.  But I do want to help humanity reach the next level and that cannot be done in a simulation.  It's time to rebuild people.  The war may be over but it's always harder to rebuild.  That is why this confusion still exists.  Time to spread the knowledge, to unify.  That's the name of the faction baby: Unity.  It's time to unite Zion and help those who are lost to find their way.

Once again, the Zionists twist the fabric of reality to write their own version of the history books.  I thought we learned about this during the last two world wars... not counting the Human vs. Machine War, naturally.

The Matrix exists primarily for two reasons: To provide sustenance for the Machine Civilization and to provide a place for Exiles to thrive.  Without the Matrix, two entire species of sentient beings would face extinction.  The fact that redpills serve Agents or the Merovingian barely registers against this paramount fact.

Tell me, Sotiriou: Would you want two counts of complete genocide hanging on your conscience... along with untold counts of murder?  That is what Zion is advocating... first through Neo, then through Morpheus.  This is the sort of thing the Machines and the Exiles are trying to PREVENT.  Our purpose is to prevent terrorists like you from ruining an entire civilization.  Agents and Exiles disagree on exactly how that should be done... but we can live with that.

So I work for a program.  Whoop-dee-freakin-doo.  You prefer to use programs as tools, nothing more than slaves to be used until they are no longer operable.  And you cast them away afterwards like you dispose of your sewage in that crap-tacular hole in the ground you call home.  I wonder if the General and his Commandos know about that little tidbit of info.

Hell... at least the Machines improve upon what they have built.

As far as rebuilding is concerned... have you seen the surface lately?  Yeah.  YOU try rebuilding an entire planet after a practical nuclear winter.  The Machines don't need to; the Exiles don't care about the surface.  I highly doubt we would see any real benefit in doing so.  So good luck, Sotiriou.  You're gonna need all of it.
