ok, for some reason whenever I get killed ingame and I try to reconstruct I crash, only started happening today but all today I crash whenever I get killed in PvP, no error messages or anything, just goes kaput on me. sent the error report which wont do no good to me since it'll take a week to get through their system and then another 4 weeks before they start doin summat about it, thats if they do summat about it.

has any1 else had this problem and found a way to fix it??

Not normally seen it crash straight to the desktop, I've occaisonally timed out while reconstructing.

Anything changed on your system recently? New drivers/windows updates ect?

Also while it may seem completely unrelated, were you doing anything in particular before you crashed other then pvping, such as taking a screenshot.

The only other thing I can suggest is running a full system check on the launcher and the game. To do the launcher, before pressing accept on the eula press the full system check button then accept. Once the launcher has restarted, press accept and wait for the login prompt then press full system check and log in again and that will run a check on the game files.

What sort of crash is it?

  • Do you get put back to the windows desktop?
  • Does the screen just go blank and the computer locks up?
  • Does the computer restart?

Also, does the crashing also occur when you go back to the loading area from a hardline?

and finally... could you please post your system info. In particular I'd like to see your DXdiag and MSINFO.
There is a thread at the top of the tech forums that says how to post these. (please post the full information... you will have to break it across a couple of posts. (Don't worry you won't get done for SPAM.) SMILEY

To clarify, instructions on how to get the system info phi is requesting can be found here.
