I am level 19 (at the present time - November 05) and I am finding it extremely difficult to level up. I have freinds who help me but I think my character is bugged cos they all get 120,000+ and I get stuck with 20,000 - 80,000 But I do get the occasional 120,000 - 180,000 I think solo missions are best but still very slow! Any suggestions to help me level up to at least level 25 by the Xmas break?

Its really based on your level. If you go with a level 50, you will not get the XP that he would get. Its that way purposefully to prevent high levels from sending the low levels up to the high levels in a short amount of time.
ITs also based on what you are doing in the mission, how many stages and what not.

Do missions on Hard difficulty. Better yet, find a higher-level friend or factionmate that will run missions with you - the higher their level, the more experience you'll get out of each mission.
Also, don't forget to tag any unsynchronized hardlines and Access Nodes for an extra little XP boost.

If you mission with higher level people you'll get more xp per mission. Tagging access nodes is also a good income of xp.
But what it really comes to is grinding through missions.

Make sure that a) You spend enough time in the red zones and b) help out by retrieving data from a mainframe for example, whilst all the others are fighting. This should boost xp.

Solo missions tend to give better experience. Try doing solo missions on hard for the best results. If you can't take care of the enemies with whichever tree you're using, I'd recommend using Kung Fu or Karate.
Just gotta keep grinding.

Yep the best way is to find a faction with alot of high levels in, or ask around mara (lots of 50's hang there) and send a shout asking to join a mission team.
I dont think soling hard missions is best for yout lvl, missioning around westview is a pain in the arse, sure they give good xp, but it takes twice as long doing 1 mission solo than doing 2 missions with a 50.
You can do some contact missions in richland.. no need to worry about the mobs hanging about, and substantioally good xp (the missions are fairly quick)
Tag some hardlines to get a bit extra, and when you hit 30+ go on a node run! (youll get through to 40 quicker)
Then, at lvl 40 through to 50.. its best to solo in richland, lots of XP, info and you can help lowbies level too. (40-50) is best to solo.
Not forgetting XP you get from tengu and the taskmaster from the constructs :smileytongue:
Hope this helps

Well they made the xp really low, combined with boring missions really
makes leveling hard. I wished there was a fun way to grind in mxo other
than : kill this guy, upload this at the hardline..rinse/repeat a
thousand times

Generally, I find missioning in International (Sai kung is my fav area) to be alot easier. It is far better than trying to survive in Westview. I know why they call it the Barrens

seeing as 99.38591732949547895348 percent of the game is 50 by now i think u can find some high levels to roll with.

stay with leveling with high level people...did that sound right?
you'll get the most xp from those...but having high level players debuff npc's 2-10 lvl's above you and you killing them will give you a TON of xp and is by far the fastest way to level if done right.
