Hey all, I am just wondering about something.

I currently have both the lucian's launcher and valkarie shades, each with 3% viral damage.  I have the overdrive bandana with 10% viral damage, and i now have the sleepwalker pants with 3% viral damage.

However, are there any shirts, coats (outerwear), shoes, and/or gloves that have 3% viral damage?  I dont care if its a codable enhanced item, a collectors item, or a mission reward-type item, I am just wondering if any of them exist.  Thanks for any information you can give.

The only item that springs to my mind... but only 2% damage bonus SMILEY

Ravenfeather (Outerwear)
Level: 20

Ballistic Damage Resistance (13pts)
Viral Damage Bonus (2%)
Thrown Resistance (13pts)
Viral Accuracy Bonus (3%)

There are pants and shoes (I'm not sure about this) with 2% bonus, but I guess you already know them.

yah, i have the ravens feather.  as well as shoes, a shirt, and gloves that all have 2%.  up until last night i had pair of pants that had 2% as well, but they got replaced by the 3% sleepwalker pants, which is why I am looking for a shirt, jacket, gloves, and/or shoes with 3 %

Just to point out, the system always rounds down to the next 5% bonus. So 84% viral damage bonus = 80% etc.

I always wear a Taggert's Pipeline top when mishing or whatever. It's got a great viral buff, but I don't remember if it's acc or dam. It's probably acc.

And .. WTB Ravensfeather! SMILEY Maybe I'll go post that in the marketplace .. hehe

I'm afraid so. The damage bonus is the only one I can test, as accuracy and all the other ones are a bit of luck anyway, but it definately doesn't change the viral damage points on the status tab or increase the damage done until its up to the next 5%.

It's very very annoying as this kinda makes all the +2/3 % clothes effectively useless. Maybe that's why Rarebit has been adding +4% itemes recently!

It definatly isn't worth going for damage. it doesn't increase your damage by much espically since there's a wider aray of clothing and setups out there that do easily make the better choice.

Thats my general pvp outlook on it anyway.

Yep, accuracy = damage, having IS = damage. Thats how I look at it anyway...

oh trust me, I dont use this set up on a PVP basis.  it is purely for a "one hit kill pve type situation, or something where i can sit back and hack away with no worries of IL.

so if my damage percent is at, say, 93 percent, unless I can get another 2 percent i might as well take away 3% damage from clothing and use it for other things.

I go for damage for easy npc kills. Although we all know my pvp skills aren't as great because I am nothing but damage; when it comes to killing npc's and being a hacker damage works great, but if you intend on pvping I would sugest concentrating on upping your defences and regain.

lucians launcher glasses and threadbare sleepwalker jeans for 3%

and enhanced silverstripe dada shoes and ravensfeather coat for 2%

those in pair gives you 5% and 5%

what 3% shoes you have?

I thought you'll never find regular drop shoes that will give 3%, certain damge bonus% items are setup that way. so when you have the best general drops you'll get a certain percent bonus.

But thats what i told myself.

Also you ever do the math with viral damage bonus% and the viral damage pts from the hacker style? or maybe i'm thinking of accuracy. To me it's almost liek there is a penalty applied to viral accuracy bonus% in the style(never seems rounded down to the nearest 5% or giving the full % either)

liek it's always off by 3% or something. maybe it was just a bug i had DE or whatever. it seems the math is always off.

it could be anything tho. hidden penalty? rounding.

If your using IH in a team then you'd want damage but if your stated your not going to see that much. more.

killing sleepwalkers with IH only gives you like 10 or 20 more damage per nuke, which you'll lose cause of the is regen lost from not having a dragon or seraphims on. but yeah if you go max damage when farming and its the diff between 1 nuke or 2 then go for max damage in pve.
