Are they giving up on official forum support for the game and letting player made forums become the ones players go to? as unless im mistaken that is one sure way to split the community.... or would you think SOE will open up their own official forums, to go with the new snazzy site they made VSOH....

Hmm, well im looking around for something else to pass time for when the mxo servers are quiet e.t.c and I saw an advert about "the day worlds collide" and the link took me to RFOnline...where it looks as though they had a server merge from 5 servers down too one for increased pvp e.t.c

Im just wondering does anyone still play this? and their opinions on the game now.

i was a bit unlucky...i logged on and saw mara c compleatly empty so i asked faction members and they recalled me to a meeting with the merovingian.....

after he went there was some talk about 2 new orgs, any ideas what they will be?

i have a hunce that one of them could be the andiv.......(from the pandora box missions) but what about the other one?

Top 10 Rules for PvP Success

1) Your strategy is the only strategy: Clearly you are the ultimate PvP fighter and you know all. Of course by extension this means your strategies and tactics will undoubtedly own all on the battlefield. We all know that that in your vast experience in PvP earning a grand total of 400 CQ's (380 of them from your team no doubt) give you all the knowledge you need to take Mara C by yourself. If anyone says otherwise they are clearly a noob and you need to tell them this, remember, people will respect you more if you swear and cuss a lot.

2) How to fight an MKT: Forget ILing them, they will be expecting that, shoot at them instead, they'll throw a few knives but will soon run away, cause we all know when an MKT runs around a corner they will never be seen again, clearly they were scared away by your aggressive tactics. If you get rooted REMEMBER TO STAY ON SPEED TACTICS so when you see him again you can shoot at him until he runs away. If you keep this up the MKT will know better than to F*** with a badass like you.

3) How to fight a sniper: Don't root them to stop them from jumping, try and free fire them into a state THEN interlock them, all snipers are honourable foes who will never run from a battle. But most important of all, if you spot one on the bridge whatever you do DON'T SAY ANYTHING, that will make them aim for you, better that a team mate falls then you, besides, that noob should have been looking out for snipers.

4) Shield are for pussies: This is especially true if you are an MA. You want to get into interlock with people and the best way to do this is to not have your shield up, by having a shield you waste precious seconds where you could be in IL pwning them all. Don't worry about MKT's, if you follow the steps of rule No 2 you will never be punted. And if they do punt you clearly they are exploiting. Remember if there are no badguys around to stick to speed tactics, you want to be able to hurt them the moment you see them.

5) Your team can read you mind: If you are on a PvP team it is only natural to expect all the other members to be Clairvoyant. They should know exactly what to do even if you never tell them. In fact, if you do ask them to do something but it doesn't work its all their fault anyway, they should have known better than to follow that tactics that was destined to fail and clearly you were testing them to see if their knowledge was extensive as your's.

6) If you get into trouble, RUN RUN RUN: HJ if you need to but get the hell out of there. Your team should immediately note your distress and come to your aid, regardless of what they are doing. If you have a few people chasing you remember to run AWAY from your team, that way they can catch your assailants from behind in a deadly pincer maneuver.

7) Bitching wins PvP wars: If you happen to die, remember, it is never your fault. There are many reasons that can cause your death but your own incompetence is never to blame. Print out the following list and keep it nearby as a reminder as to what you can blame. Remember to constantly spam this along with asking for rezzed until; a) Your are rezzed or b) Your reconstruct timer ends.
- Sploitz
- Enemy being buffed
- More Sploitz
- Being Zerged
- Lag spikes (Pronounced "Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag";)
- Random Bugs
- Your own teams incompetence
- Even more Sploitz
- Enemy Healers
- Missing your FAR/Foot Sweep/Piston Kick
- Running out of IS
- Wrong Clothes on
- Wrong buffs on
- Abilities breaking (Regardless of whether they broke or not)
- The enemy using a noob/cheap tree (Remember to remind them to "Get a real LO", being the ultimate PvP champion that you are they will take your advice to heart and change their LO)
- and finally yet more sploitz.

8) ((This one is especially for hackers)) Remember, Logic Cannon is the be all and end all of hacker: Logic Cannon is an awesome move, use it as much as possible, its application is universal and can be used to resolve even the stickiest situation.
- MA broke your shield? Use Logic Cannon, they will immediately start running away to avoid being hit by it.
- MKT got you rooted and running at you disguised? Use logic cannon, they will be frozen to the spot with fear as they see the deadly attack being charged.
- Being Zerged? Thats right, Logic Cannon again, all your assailants will stop immediately and discuss over team chat who is being targeted by the attack so they can tell him (Cause no girls play this game) to switch to block tactics.
- Just been hit by a sniper shot? Turn on that sniper and use Logic Cannon, they will immediately jump away rather than face the fury of the dreaded logic cannon.
- Facing off another hacker? Logic cannon saves the day, while they are wasting time stacking DOT/Debuffing you, you are charging the Logic Cannon to kill them with, by the time they realise what you are doing its too late.

9) Flag up only when necessary: If you see a team mate being attacked 2 v 1 don't flag, stand nearby and watch, flagging up is a waste of time, they need the practice anyway. Besides, its their own fault they were caught by two people and you need to teach them a lesson, they will thank you in the long run.

10) Your tree is the only balanced one: Every other tree that people use is clearly overpowered and broken. You are an ultimate PvP champion so you don't need an overpowered tree to win, you win from pure skill alone, everyone else is a noob who needs a real LO and you need to remind them of this constantly, eventually they will catch on and change their wicked ways.

Whos got one, I was thinking of importing one from the US to the UK (as we dont have them yet) but was hoping from opinions from people who have got one, or have had one..

Sony must be low on money as now they are allowing alienware to advertise ingame, so how long left before they run out of funds?

Ok, i took some in game footage which i was trying to put into a sig, i try to open it in image ready and all i get are white frames.

ok took me a long time but ive been looking through as many posts as i can relating to ingame suggestions e.t.c

all i got to say is;

HAVE PATIENCE,

if you havn't noticed SOE are still getting through and fixing the bugs from monoliths time, yes they may add some of their content every so often to keep people here who threaten to leave if nothing is done but they have alot of work todo.

Honesty i think the game was released too early but hopefully within the next couple of monts the bugs can start going and SOE and focus solely on Content, Content and more CONTENT.

Ok i dont play any other mmos' especially from SOE but looking through SWG and EQ forums it sems that any bugs that are found are wittled out quite quicky so give them time to do the same here.

You must realize the truth: There is no post. Then you will see it is not the post that has moved, only yourself.

SOE Should Be Careful!? – Spoilers!??

Ok I felt like poking about the mxo directory again in search of any graphics that are saved to our computer, in hope of finding something interesting to aid me in making a faction website and wallpaper. But I found a few things…..

There’s also other stuff in there like XML documents with everything your character starts with like information and abilities and items. (However changing any off these documents may result in a ban of your account or something as it classed as exploiting the games resources).

Well I had a search for a previous topic regarding last.fm, however I could not find one, which I was suprised about. So I do apologise if I over looked it.

Anyway, after tidying up my HDD's I saw the installer for this and reinstalled it (after forgetting to after a last reformat). Therefore I just thought I share this little 'thing' with any of you who do not know about this.

Last.fm, 'listens' to what you listen too, 'records' it, 'learns' what kind of music you enjoy based on what you have listened too, and then give you the option to see other artists, songs which you may enjoy based on what you have listened too.

Basically it is a large community site, similar to facebook, myspace, bebo, and countless others, however this one purely focuses on your music taste. Allowing you to see what your friends and family listen too throughout the day. Also giving you the option to 'socialise' with other people who share similar music tastes to your own.

Not sure what else I can really say without actually saying download it, register up and play with it, so I just stop running on crap, and give you the link

Bear steals car

Police in New Jersey say a black bear is suspected of stealing a people carrier and taking it for a spin.

Officer Dave Dehard found the vehicle by the side of the road near Vernon Township, reports Court TV.

The passenger window had been broken and the door panels were damaged.

Police spokesman Det Sean Talt said: "He determined it was a bear because of all the bear hair inside.

"Apparently, the bear had also accidentally released the emergency brake and allowed the vehicle to roll away 40 or 50 feet away from the owner's house."

Police say the bear was probably attracted by sweets left inside the car.

"We've had animals break into houses," Det Talt said. "But this is the first time we've ever had an animal take the car like that."

Man marries *CENSORED* to beat curse

An Indian man has married a female dog, believing the union will help him atone for stoning two other dogs to death.

P Selvakumar, 33, said he had been cursed since the killings, suffering paralysis and a loss of hearing.

The wedding took place at a Hindu temple in Tamil Nadu state. The "bride" wore an orange sari with a flower garland and was fed a bun to celebrate.

Superstitious people in rural India sometimes organise weddings to animals in the hope of warding off curses.

'Tried every cure'

Crowds cheered the newly-weds at the end of the ceremony in Sivaganga district, about 50km (30 miles) east of the city of Madurai.

The "bride", who is called Selvi, was led to the temple in Manamudurai wearing a sari before vows were exchanged in a traditional Hindu ceremony.

A relative of the groom who attended the wedding said he hoped Mr Selvakumar would now be cured.

"Fifteen years back Selvakumar was physically fit. But, once he attacked a pair of dogs and thereafter Kumar could not move his limbs freely," the relative, Ramu, told the BBC.

"He tried every cure for his ailment but could not be rid of his disability.

"On the advice of an astrologer and others, he decided to marry a *CENSORED* to get cured. Then we arranged Selvakumar's marriage with a *CENSORED*."
