If you're looking for what really looks cool, I'd suggest Kung fu. I think it's the "prettiest" of the three. Lots of spinning and posing. Comes across like a dance to a certain extent. Nice to watch while kicking butt. Karate just screams power. Robotic movements, powerhouse like. Very little posing I find. Then there's Aikido. Plenty of spinning but less dramatic than the other two. Next to no posing at all other than the strange Aikido stance. If you are going to be a martial artist I suggest starting with Karate as others have mentioned. Then get the other two and play around 'till you are satisfied. I've got all three. I'm never satisfied! LOL! Having options is always the way to go if you ask me.:smileywink:

Yeah, don't worry about that at all! If you are still interested in what was going on with all that stuff I'm sure you can find someone in-game to fill you in! Great that you noticed these NPC's though. Hopefully the items they are looking for will change with the next event!

I agree with Radar about the whole issue being difficult to do for people who create and or develope games. Nothing is easy I imagine.

Let me give you an example, (slightly off topic, but not really!)

I draw. I started when I was about 4 years old. I am now 28. I still draw. I started drawing cars and trucks etc. My father taught me how even though he has no artistic or creative talent whatsoever. Once I felt I'd mastered the art of vehicles, I moved onto the human body. Both male and female. It was one heck of a pain in the rear! To this day I don't feel I've mastered it but if I were able to see a drawing I did when I was 12 or so and compare it to one I drew sometime this year, I'm sure all I could say is WOW! Progress! Look what I've done and learned and how far I've come! Passion for one's own talent and creativity! Game developers I am sure are passionate about their chosen carreer. How else would they be able to put up with the billion complaints they get about games they work on?

You speak as though you have some extended knowledge of developing video games. Cool! Whether or not that's true is insignificant. It's an art, just like drawing or writing, painting etc. Practice makes perfect.

I've said before that (and we all know), the Matrix films pushed the envelope in movie making. I feel that the Enter the Matrix game did this also. MXO has a ridiculous amount of potential. I'm sure Path of Neo will do what Enter the Matrix did. I also feel that MXO can do far more than all of the others mentioned. I would not be surprised if drivable vehicles made it into a patch in the future. It's just not at the top of the priority list, obviously.

As for houses, not too sure on that one. There are houses in game. I think I already mentioned the fact that I have hideouts and HQ's in all 4 districts in the Mega City. You gotta really explore everyone! You find something you like, give it a name and flag it!

The construct idea sounds cool too although I'm not that interested in it it does sound cool.

Yeah, Richland can get a little boring after a while eh? You can get to Westview just by running there. I tend to take the Dannah heights West hardline. There is a bridge right near the hardline that'll take you into Westview. If you want to do the 4 districts in a sort of order I'd go with Westview 2nd, International 3rd, and downtown 4th. There are many internet sites that can help you as well. These sites list hardline locations, who drops what access key and where, and the access nodes for said keys.

I would agree with the last post. Before leaving Richland, get to level 10 and load hyper-jump. Very handy in sticky situations! Getting all your hardlines in Richland then Westview will also help you level up. Hacking access nodes with the proper key grants some nice chunks of XP on top of tagging hardlines.

I was trying to say in my last post that although certain things may be very difficult to put into a game, or cause more lag we should still do it. Let's battle lag not avoid it! Avoiding it means it's always gonna be there. Confront the evil lag monster head on and one day it'll be no more! Somebody somewhere will find a way, of this I'm sure. Slapping more memory in your PC helps a great deal I've heard. I'll be doing that soon!

Back to Mario Bros.! LOL! Oh God, imagine if nobody ever complained about re-playability or repetitiveness! We'd all still be playing side-scrolling games like Mario Bros.! Aahhhhh!!

So you see, video games have come a long way. I only hope they continue to do so! Running from the Lag Monster is never gonna fix the problem. Being lazy in my opinion (it's too hard or will take too much time etc.), won't either.

It sounds like maybe your on-board graphics may be still handling your graphics. I did not have this issue with the game but when I installed my new card the display would not work. I found out from the PC place that sold me the card that I hadn't pushed the card in far enough! LOL! I could be way off in your problem though so anyone else????

Anyhow this is a very useful tool for all to use and when I jacked in a couple days after launch people were using it quite often. Strange that nobody is now.

I hear ya's all about the Merovingian getting the worst rep in the Matrix. I must admit I'm not a big fan of his, even though I work for him from time to time as well. He does serve a purpose (as the Machines would say). He brings programs into the Matrix saving them from deletion and giving them a chance at a life they never knew they could have. Sadly at the same time, he makes them do his bidding, putting them back into slavery to a certain extent. I believe he is so old at this point he's kinda lost it, so to speak. As far as Niobe and/or the General and his Commandos getting a piece of the Merovingian. . .good luck! What I like about the Merovingian's organization is his wife, plain and simple. (Yes she's gorgeous but that's not what I'm talking about!) If the Merovingian is ever to see the err of his ways I believe it'll be through the closest person to him. . .Persephone. If the Merovingian were to ever actually be killed I believe there is only one person who is and/or ever could get close enough. . .Persephone. I trust her. Niobe is running headlong into something that she may not be able to get out of, despite my many warnings to her. The sum of the Merovingian's rants about causality and the like are: Chaos. Yet. . .he never mentions it. Is he aware of chaos? I wonder. . .

I wanted to do the same thing and found that it is a waste of time! At level 50 you can get those fat nodes and keep tapping them until they disappear. You'll walk away richer but not that rich. The trouble you are having is because you are level 14. Look at the bottom of the spy tree (left side), you'll see advanced data node tapping abilities.:smileywink:

You can add flags to anything you want in the game by first finding whatever it is you are looking for, standing next to it then open your map and right click your position on the map and select Add flag. Then you name it, whatever it may be!:smileywink:

There is an in-game tool that many of you do not use and may not know about. Flag yourself as looking for a team! Many Redpills were doing this early after launch and it is how many of us met and stayed in contact for so long.

To do this, simply click your cell phone (button on right side of compass). Select team, then seek. Voila! You are now flagged as looking for a team! There is also the find option that will allow you to look for other players who have flagged themselves.

Advanced find allows you to look for players at specific levels and organizations as well as their discipline.

I have been flagging myself from time to time and sadly, I'm the only one who seems to be flagged. This is a very useful tool and we all should be using it from time to time! I encourage you all to get back at it!

Hey Killah, I agree with you in so many ways brother. I agree with others who've posted here to a certain point as well.

The initial fault in humanity (given our current and recently past situations), is fear. You can psyhco analize it all you want to pin point it but in general, fear. Fear of the inkown, fear of change etc. I do not agree that we see ourselves as superiors to the Machines though my friend. I see each and every human both male and female as a God to them. I know that still sounds like superiority but that is not what I mean. I mean God as in creator and therefore (believe it or not), more knowledgeable. We know and feel more than they do even at this point in our existence together. It is this we must teach them, however possible. I still see them as children because of all they could learn from us. The things they didn't compute in light of our haste to destroy them and us if necessary. They did what they did because we created them to take care of us, to serve us. In this they have. . .and given the circumstances they did a wonderful job. We are still here and so are they. As far as our unpredictability goes, put an animal in a cage and watch it fight for freedom. When the animal sees that there is no escape and if it "behaves" it will be fed and taken care of, it does so. To survive. Give that animal one chance to regain it's former life and it's a fifty-fifty chance that it could go either way.

We need to work together Killah, like you said, we need to start sharing. Humanity needs to show the Machines that there are little basic differences between us and them. We both cling to life. Survival. The Machines knew they needed a new food source and found all they would need in us. They also knew they would need to feed us in turn in order for both species (if you will), to survive. They were created to protect and serve us and they remain dong that to this day. We need to show them love and understanding and that war and resistance is not all our race is about. We need to atone for our past with them and they need to learn forgiveness for we knew not what we did.

I have a problem with nearly every post in this thread though folks. Everyone mentioned Humanity and the Machines. Nobody seemed to mention the programs that now live and thrive in the Matrix. The Oracle being one of those programs. Even if Humanity were able to reclaim the surface and unite in life for the future with the Machines the Matrix must continue to exist regardless. These programs have no physical body as we or the Machines have. Could they aquire one? Sure, I imagine they could. At least some of them. However should they have to leave all they know just because Humanity and the Machines say so? No. Man and Machine would be making the same mistake all over again. What we need to teach the Machines is also what we need to teach the programs/Exiles in the Matrix as well. Together. All three beings must work together for a future. Without us, the Machines will eventually die. . .for lack of a beeter word. If we go, they go. If they go, the Matrix goes and everything in it. The Machines never destroyed Humanity, they preserved it.

We must love them all as a father and mother love their children and they must learn to love us and forgive us.

Sitting alone at my monitor on the bridge of the Hovercraft Freedom I watch the code stream fall in shock and disbelief as I see one of our own, Rivall, sitting on a park bench beside another redpill who happens to be a Cypherite. I can see the mask in the code, no mistaking it. Many do not know that even when I'm not jacked in, I am always watching. Watching for threats to life and to The Daemon Contingency. I move to jack in and interrupt this meeting but stop cold, eyes still glued to the screen, begging to know, to understand why. I decide against the interruption because I still trust him. Rivall, what are you getting into here? What could you be getting us all into here? I still trust HIM.

I decide to send him a recorded transmission instead and pray I can summon the will power to mask my own anger, confusion and disbelief at what I just happened to witness by chance.

Technically, you can mission anywhere in the Megacity, regardless of level. If you get all the access keys to the neighborhoods in Westview, International and downtown, you can hack all the nodes in each neighborhood and be free of lvl255 Agents tracking you and attacking you. To avoid gangs, I recommend staying in the streets. To get to the other districts and neighborhoods, use the subway. When you get where you want to go, hunt for exits. By that I mean hardlines. I also recommend getting help!:smileywink:

I would also recommend sending the person you plan on recruiting a tell before you send the official invite. Every time someone sends me official invites to anything and I do not know them I decline. If you have a faction or crew website you may want to give the person the address and let them check it out before you send the official invite and squeeze in a little role play for good measure!:smileywink:
