Does anyoen else have severe lag when they're in Mara central and it's raining? I had to /suicide because the lag was soo bad. I don't get it, I upgrade to an ATI video card with more than 200 MB of memory, and I have around 750 MB RAM, and I have a DSL line.

Ok, so we know that Seraph was a Seraphim, a form of Agents in the Paradise Matrix. We also know that in the current version of the Matrix that Agents are human looking male and female dressed in white buttoned up shirt, with black tie (with a tie clip) and a black coat. However, what about the "Hell" Matrix? Who were the Agents there? Personally I think the Twins used to be Agents of the "Hell" Matrix. Mainly because in Reloaded, they spoke like Agents and their glasses are similar to the Agents of the current version of the Simulation.

I have a question about it's always 1999 thing. In order for this to work, every year has to be dull and boring, nothing new and exciting happening, just the same-o, same-o every day. However, wouldn't the birth of someone and the death of someone break the cycle of dullness? When someone close to you dies, then you tend to remember when they died. Also, if a family member is born or one of your friends have a baby, you tend to remember the birth date too. Am I right, wrong, or what?

just FYI, "standard" agents wear dark green, not black. The only "Agent" to wear black was Smith, and at that point he was no longer an Agent. To see what I mean, watch Reloaded again - the scene in the Burly Brawl where the azn chick drops the tomatos and spazzes into an Agent - Smith grabs his shoulder - note that their attire is coloured differently. Apparently the green is meant to reflect the colour of the matrix code.
The whole Matrix has the green tint. I still say they wear black because Agent Gray wears black as does Agent Pace. I think you're seeing green because the W. Brothers used a green tint.

But I like your idea that the Twins were agents from the war matrix. The only thing would be that I find it hard to believe that any agent, be it past or present, would work directly for the Merovingian.
Seraph worked for the Merv before escaping and betraying him, that's why he's wingless. I could see it if the Merv saved the Twins from deletion.

Don't be a *CENSORED*. The game isn't 100% accurate in view of the movies - obviously someone decided to change the colour scheme of the agents for whatever reason.
I still say that you need to go and pay attention to that particular scene in Revolutions. Side-by-side, the two colours are obviously different.
No one cares about the subtle difference in Agent suit's color. We're here to talk about whether or not the Twins were Agents of the 2nd version of the Matrix, the "Hell" version.

Ok, so this was attempted awhile back, I remember because Dez attempted it after I held a memorial for the victims of the VT shootings. Anyways, I'm just making this thread to see if there's any interest for a Town hall discussion on various of issues with the Matrix community. We'd get together once a week, and discuss something completely different every week. The topic would be choosen by the community beforehand. Also, yes, this is an OCC event. So, anyone interested?

Guess that means I shouldn't show up.
My plan is to have three mods, one from Mech, one from Zion, and one from Merv. That way no one can scream bias or favortisim, and 3 means that if we ask the Mods to vote, it won't end in a tie. When it comes to things like this, I like to have an odd number. So if you like to be a Mod for this reoccuring event, then send me a in game e-mail or PM stating your org alliance.

See, that just confuses thing futher. If that is true, then wouldn't The machines decide that Smith was an obsolete program and replace him with an Agent that can beat Seraph. Unless beating Seraph wasn't Smith purpose, but his purpose was to get rid of The One AKA Neo. But yea, now that I think about it I remember that part.

Well if he actually beat Smith... why/how did Smith still exist afterwards? Why did they fight? I heard long time ago that Seraph could possibly be one of the past Ones but... that's highly unlikely. Seraph was probably just doing what he does best, protecting or guarding something or someone and was in the way of Smith... maybe protecting a past One. Who knows! Well we do know that Seraph was an Angel in the first verison of The Matrix, and after that he became an exile, since he no longer had a purpose. The Seraph story is very intresting, alot of theories floating around about him, some say he was a past one, another say that he was an Angel, another say that he was a former Agent. etc. The Devs really should devote a chapter to the story of Seraph.

If you take it like you should take hollywood movies, based means he contorted it to fit the time and how he saw fit. Obviously it wasn't like this 1999, but it wasn't hell either. Humans couldn't take bliss or suffering, but a nice mixture of both. The Architect regardless would have saw that after the taking down of the 2nd iteration, but the Oracle offered the choice solution which led to the Third Version working.
Which brings me to the question, could the hell or heaven iteration work if the choice was there still?
Of course it wasn't exactly like this one I'm sure every isntance has had a few changes here and there. But to assume that the intire place was a "Hell" is just silly and shows just how much the popular ideas and rumors people had after the trilogy have taken over what was actully said. Your second question is one I've also wonderd and really all ive come up with is a simple idea. The first version would be a no because of the second reason it failed. No one could keep up with the rules. The second version, maybe. We don't know enough about it's rules other then what it was based off of to decided though. I was under the impression the heaven version didn't work because the AgentSeraphim abused their devastating powers.
Actually the First Matrix didn't work because Humans couldn't accept it, it wasn't "real"
From The Matrix:
Agent Smith: Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this: the peak of your civilization.

with all the time changes this month, can you please verify that time into any time zone except MCT for me?
with the differnt definatitions of MCT i never know what time MCT is except in the winter months. If anyone knows of a link to any offical statement of MCT, that would help too. if its 5pm pacific (midnight gmt) i'll be way late. if its 6pm (01:00gmt) i might make it or be slightly late. Support Group is 4pm pac (11pm gmt) that night lasting for an avg of 1.5 hours and then i have another short meeting right after.
MCT = Pacific Time.

Because if you think about it people get shot and stabbed by knives all the time and live, but hardly anyone survives and explosion or getting run through by a sword. So if some bluepill was to stumble upon a couple redpills fighting, and after a few exchanges of gunfire they both leave, that bluepill may believe that either they both missed or they both weren't seriously injured. But if both those redpills had run up and slashed each other or lobed a grenade then that bluepill would be left very curious about how that would come about.
That said i think it's one of the most upheld, and yet not (officially) spoken "laws" as it would be. What do you think?
Actually, they are.

Are those Photoshopped?

I don't know, if you recall back to Reloaded, the Matrix is older than originally thought and the war has been going on longer than they thought. If Zion was built by machines then why not the Hovercraft? Maybe the plate was just another part of that lie?

So what kind of car do you guys think The Merovingian would drive, or at least ride in? I'm sure one of his exiled guards/escort would do the actual driving.
I think he'd choose a car like a Lincoln Continental, with suicide doors.
Something like this.
