Well I think we all know by now that we will never beable to have the ability to have custom UserInterfaces, hey but theres nothing wrong with 'dreaming' right? After all many were 'dreaming' before jacking into the matrix for the first time.

So I am just wondering if you could have the ability to change the UserInterface to your liking, what would you make it look like?
Unfortunatly this is not a contest, just some bit of fun, giving you all a reason to open up AdobePhotoshop, or MicrosoftPaint, or whatever you may use.
However, if this is popular, and we get alot of interest, than I may be able to get together some $i and give out small donations to those that I think have done 'well'.

Ok well i patched the game and no new patch notes appeared, this may be because they havn't updated the addy where our launcher reads from.

and also as we are now in a new chapter, maybe we get a new sentinel?

ooo one more thing, theres the theory of them doing flash cinemtaics now, and well that didn't look much different to usual.....

Well looking around the forums at peoples idea's of what they want to see implemented into the game.
even seen the threads where people are moaning and sometimes even leaving due to lack of content.

The Question is what do you class content is?

New trees?
New Mission System, one that offers a challenge, i.e working out puzzles?
LET, even though the devs and lesig are doing an incredible job lately?
New Areas to explore?
Clothing / weapons?

What did i bring this up?

well,looking through people's idea's some of them are only short-term solutions that will keep us busy for a week, i.e implementing new tree's.
And i starting thinking of what i wanted implemented and it also seemed to be a short-term solution, but not a cure to our content problem.

I'm feeling good. Put another edition of The Sentinel, the MXO in-game newspaper to bed (here's the previous edition**), and worked on the design and written content of some little satellite storytelling vehicles which we hope will flesh out the story which, alas, [b]has been unfolding at half the speed originally planned.[/b]

Better to fill the gaps with characterization and backstory and subplots than to curse the darkness, or something like that.

Here's a bizarre scene from the gameworld, with "flying cars" -- actually, an elevated roadway and other objects that neglected to render. I found myself stuck in this spot, able to run only one meter before being snapped back to it: XYZ coordinates 0,0,0. Quite a bizarre glitch.

I wondered if my character would be marooned there forever (restarting the game didn't help), until I consulted the help menu and discovered the "/suicide" command. It sends one back to the loading area, with its choice of hardlines for reentering the Matrix.

If only real life had this sort of reset. Then again, we'd be cleaning up corpses at every stressful social function, and every final exam.

so i clicked advanced and typed in my username and bingo...
however i also noticed that some of my posts from recentley have been star'd....

Well ill post in general as more people come and visit here.

Everyone has their own opinions of CR2.0 and the EP server, some are good others are bad.
If you can get onto the EP server and you truely care about mxo then you wont min spending about 2-3 weeks only playing on that server (or the majority of your jacked in time there).
Why?
Well without everyone's efforst and opinions the developers cannot meet what everyone wants. so if theres something that is missing or completley wrong and you dont tell them they will never know.
Therefore you will get upset and complain and the developers will waste more valuable time fixing whats broken on live when it should have been done weeks before on the EP server.

is 2-3 weeks playing on a server really much when you will know at the end of it you would have helped or contributed to the success of the new combat system as it be bug free (or mostly bug free).

Yes many will say well its just like beta but we are paying for it.
and i do agree with it sometimes, but, to help shape this game in the future we need to voice our opinions and we cannot do this if we dont try it.

so what are you still doing reading this? if you can get on EP already and help shape this game into something better. remember a game is only as good as what is put in.

I would prefer the sooner and not buggy as this means the developers attention is now of the combat and on to some content that everyone wants.

Ok well enough is enough, 8/10 as soon as I log onto vector I have been sent at least 1 /t either telling me to f*** off back to syntax, or calling me a f***ing exploiter and how I must attribute hack as a level 48 is outrolling them.
Just wishes those people just grow up, its a game, they can't expect to be the best of the best, this system is way to random to allow that, but no anyone that comes close to beating them is an exploiter, ive taken many screenshots and even 2 video clips, and they still think I faked them, nothing else I can do.

then scroll down untill you get to the section about,

"NAME TAG COLOURS"

then you just edit the colour hex values and bingo.....

Back when I started playing i remember always being able to jack-in and if none of my buddies were online i could open up the team UI and flag myself as seeking a team, and withing 5minutes i had invitres to a missions team, or i go click find and invite people to my team...

Well time as moved on and no-one flages their self as seeking no more, so about a revamp of our UI?

Ok well a while ago i contacted support via a ticket ingame, requesting a character transfer, in short the answer i got was basically ask on the forums, and with the anniversary coming up and everyone in a brilliant mood i thought nows the time SMILEY

the reason i wanted this is so i can experiance all 3 servers, and with the 1year anniversary upon us, im wondering for an "extra present" can we get the option of another character transfer, as im sure many others fell that they either made the wrong choice in the 1st place or mad 2 characters on same server and wishes for one to be transfered...

we know this is possible as back in monolith time we were givin the option a few months in, near the time of the SOE takeover...

ok i know what your going to say, that was monolith and this is SOE, but surely given their "paying" customers this choice to keep them happy cant be that bad?

well im from the uk so i dont get to see the ads,

but, are these those wierd and whacky ads the devs made or actual company ads?

as you can see it clips the add, untill i get the angle just right, so im wondering if these are "real"....

Well its apparent that some of our community is unhappy with the "spectacular" event over the weekend.
Some people are blaming SOE, as well they own the game, some people are blaming the developers, as after all that programmed and make the game, while others are blaming the community for not following the story and not enjoying what we have got.

There may be a few reasons why this event was not a success (or how people would have liked it).
CR2.0 has just been released, and along with that i bet 100's of bug's have been sent in, therefore the developers are not just trying to run an large scale event, but also try and improve our game experiance. Im sure they cant effectively do both, so one, or both of these didn't have the full team behind it.

Another reason why this event a success (or how people would have liked it).
Its easy to please one person, as you can listen to what they say and meet those demands, however the more people you have to please the harder it is to include content that caters for everyone's taste.
With the success they had with pandora's box, and how the community said they loved the puzzles and killing the mobs, the developers may have thought, "well the community love killing the npc's in the pandora arc's, so what we do is incorporate this into the event".

Another reason could be that they dont know how to please the community.
This is the point of this thread, hopefully you will bother to read this and post what you would like to see/do in an event. And hopefully the developers will come across this and based upon what the community wants, change the layout and structure of future events.

Ok, i dont jack in for long nowdays, but surely we have all noticced the increased lag on the servers?

now its time for the low levels to keep richland and the high levels diversify into new "unexplored" areas such as downtown, this will help keep lag down and even it out throughout the city.

anyway the main point of this thread is with the increased population (permanent or not) we need more regulary server restarts to help cut down any server lag or problems that occur.

Many peoples first thoughts about this may be;
"well why should we move to new areas, why dont they make another server"
the answer is simple, the more people on the server, the busier it feels, i would love to jack in one day and see a redpill around every corner, constant pvp battles e.t.c but this can only happen with regular server restarts.

in my own opinion i want to see the megacity hustling, and with all the extra subscription fees they can give us all new content and areas to explore, but if the game lags out then people are going to get annoyed...

not sure if any of this makes sense as ive done way too much writing today my "brain" hurts

This may get removed from the forums, moved to vector forums or anywhere else the mods want...but with it being here to start off with = more chance a dev may come across it..

Ok this isn't even remotley funny no more, i was told that our faction (The System) will be fixed on a server restart whenever that happens if not before.

So i wait untill the server opens up log in to find were still bugged?

Were all fedup with /bug the problem, were still in our crews and faction they just get disable as the screenshot shows.
we cant actually manually leave our crews as its been disabled...only way to leave is get someone to invite us to their crew and then we leave it and remake our crews and faction...however if we do this we will not beable to use the name "The System" as that is still on the database...

So if a dev reads this can you manually delete our faction from the database or something so we can reuse the name...or even better find a way to fix us so we dont have to go through all the hassle.
