So last night I was out driving, and it was at 2:45am in the morning. Now this is the time of day where you have to be careful about deers, especially when you're driving through wooded areas. Anyways, I was driving down the road, and I was driving through a wooded area, and BAM, my car got broadsided by a deer.

I pulled into a church parking lot, and looked at the damage. I looked for blood and guts. Also, me being the paranoid person that I can be sometimes, I drove back and forth in the area a few times, to make sure I didn't hit a person. The reason is that well...heh...I really shouldn't been driving, I was recovering from a Summer flu. Luckily I didn't see anybody so I concluded that it was a deer. Pictures below!

So, I recently brought the SAW Boxset + SAW 4. Now I have watched all 4 SAW films before, so this is me re-watching them. Anyways, we all know that Amanda was John's apprentice about 5 months before Adam and Dr. Gordon was in the bathroom Jigsaw puzzle, after surviving her own puzzle. Remember, Amanda was the one that had the reverse bear trap. Anyways, in SAW II, we see Amanda again, and this time she's trapped with other people in yet another Jigsaw puzzle. I have to wonder, is she part of the house puzzle in II, or was the puzzle for her too, because she did say that even though she passed the Reverse Bear Trap, she was being bad (Self harm) so I dunno.

Personally I think it's both. Because if you remember, you never actually see her cough up blood like the other subjects, and Jigsaw did have to keep Detective's Matthews son safe so that when he played Detective's Matthew game, his son would be in a safe and secured place. However, I could see how it could be a puzzle for Amanda because she was self harming, and wasn't appreciating the life that she was given.

What do you guys think, Was Amanda a part of the house puzzle in II or was the puzzle for her?

Hello Data Node One, I want to play a game. In a month I will bring upon my vengeance from beyond the grave. As I have stated before, my work will be carried out after I am dead. My games, my tests of the survival instinct in 21th Century humans will go on. The only question is, do you have what it takes to survive my games? The rules are simple, On October 24th, You, Them, Everyone will see what my apprentice is capable of. You will be tested, your will is going to be tested, the media will show some of my deadliest games yet. The only question is, do you have the survival instinct? Live or die, make your choice.

Seriously though, is anyone else excited about SAW V coming out in a month? Or am I just sick and deprived?

So, in another forum, we were talking about ideas for an MMORPG, and I came up with the idea for a SAW MMORPG. You have players who can be detectives, Jigsaws, and victims.

Detectives: Your role is to basically stop the Jigsaws from not only killing people, but also stop them from collecting material, and building their traps. You will be given clues, and these clues will hopefully lead you to a Jigsaw. However, you must keep an eye out to make sure you don't become a victim yourself.

JigsawsYour job is to basically build elaborate traps to test people's will to live. However, you must design your traps, gather the material, and build it. You must do it right too, or else your trap can fall apart and your victims go free. However, your traps must be a test, if you build an unwinnable trap, then you get marked as "victim" and the other Jigsaws have the options to put you in their own test. Your actions will leave clues for the Detectives, so be careful!

VictimsYou wake up in a dark room, after a few moments of conscious, you realize that you are in a Jigsaw trap. You have a certain amount of time to figure out the puzzle and escape. If you escape, you can either become a detective or a Jigsaw. However, if you die, then you return to status of Victim.

The MMORPG will take place in a city environment like MegaCity. The Detectives will have police stations set up around the area, the victims will be citizens of the city, and Jigsaws will be living in abandoned buildings.

The only problem I see is that I want players to be able to make unique and interesting traps, but I haven't exactly figured out how to work that out without having them make traps that are too out there. I want them to make interesting traps, but they have to be realistic traps.

What do y'all think?

Anyways last night North Carolina got hit with a pretty big snow storm, which shuts down pretty much everything. Which means I had to close down my business for the day....stupid snow. >.< However, I did get some office work done at home, so today wasn't a total loss for me.

So my cat has been hunting down these bugs that has leg like grasshoppers, but is light brown, has long antlers and is circlular. One was found dead in her water bowl.

What's ironic is she doesn't even bat them around, she just....follows them.

Now I'm normally not one to complain, and I love this game and I love the RP/LE aspect of the game, but tonight's EPN/Zion/Cyph event was messed up and didn't make one lick of sense! Ok, let's go over what happened in the past 24 hours.

1. Cyph capture a Zion hovercraft for the purpose of taking it to the machines so that the machines can find out why Zion was moving heavy machinery.

2. The captured crew was in the Matrix today so that Veil can question them, and the EPNs show up and free them.
3. Agent Johnson died while Niobe and The Kid didn't get one scratch on them.

4. The crew was free and the hovercraft is recovered thus making last night's Cyph operation a total waste.

Now here's the problem that I have with the event.

1. Once the hovercraft and crew was captured, why were they allowed to go into the Matrix? Why couldn't they've been questioned in the real? If this was RL, they would've never been allowed to go back into the Matrix, and they would've been tied up!

2. Only ONE lvl 60 agent? Comon, there should've been at least 3 lvl 255 agents! I mean comon, a gathering of EPN terrorist and only one agent?

3. Ok, so Niobe, and The Kid, human, they survived an onslaught of attacks without a scratch and yet the Agent dies from a similar attack? Comon, give me a break! In the movies, the only one that was able to defeat the Agents was Neo!

4. Why have us go through an operation without any payoff? If you're going to have Cyph capture a hovercraft and crew, and then have it recaptured by the EPN/Zion, then where's the payoff? Why even have the Cyph do anything if all the EPN have to do is counter the Cyph event and win?

This need to be fixed, badly.

So tonight I brought and installed the Nividia GeForce 8800 series card, and wow, what an improvement! Even the screenshots are better!

Recently some changes have come into my life, like gaining someone new in my life who means alot to me and who is just the most wonderful and amazing person I met and who I will be starting a life together with soon. There's also the fact that I'm in grad school now, and I am excelling in it. Simply put, I'm not able to put forth the same amount of time that I used to for MxO. After much thought and consideration, I don't see my playing time increasing anytime soon. I have moved on to better things in my life, and while I'll never forget the fun things that I've been through with MxO, like The Oracle said, "Everything that has a beginning, has an end." This is my end for MxO.

Remember when people were getting warned and banned for excessive negativity? Well I thought about it today, dug through my old threads, and I found this image.

I've noticed this before the servers went down, and now after they've gone back up. Everything would freeze, the redpills, bluepills, missions, everything. However, I am able to roam around the Matrix, I just can't dial up the hardline, or do anything, basically all I can do is walk or run around when this freeze happen. Has this happen to anyone else? This was happening on Recursion server.

Welp, I got a new wireless card to help with the syncing problem with the servers. However, now I can't even jack in, the game freezes up when it tries to load up my character. Jeez, it never ends. With the old card I had syncing problems, now with the new one I have character upload problems.

Is it me, or does the cinematic seem to focus mainly on Zion? I
would like to see at least one or two cinematic that focus more on the
machines or merv. side of MxO, I think it could really add to the
story.

Ok, for a while now I've been reading alot of "chicken little" posts,
about how SOE is out to destory MxO, etc. etc, and I just have to
wonder, how much of a danger is MxO really in? I mean yes, we
lost a dev, HCFrog, but we still got others, we still got content
that'll be coming out soon. Heck, this game is now over one year
old. Beside, if MxO really was in danger, why would SOE toy
around with us like this, why wouldn't they just pull the plug? I
think alot of people are just overreacting and they just need to sit
back and enjoy the ride. Even if MxO does end one day, at least
you'll always have the memories.

Ok, there seem to be two camps on the Cinematics. One camp likes the new drawing style, and others like the original in game style. However both has problems.

In Game
It takes too long to produce

It lags the game for the rest of the players.

Limitations on what can be done

Comic style
It isn't really Matrixy.

Some people are confused about what's going on, who is who etc.

Both style have their strong points and weak points.

So, what is MetaLogic big idea? Why not do what our fan base has done in the term of movie style?

This is the Furious Angels movie, and if you watch it you will be amazed by how real it looks! That is done in real time, with the MxO game with a few other programs, I think fraps is one of them. I really love how the bullet came through the glass, it just looks awesome! I really do think the Devs should take a look at this video and see if they can't do the same. They can even use LET characters. Now it won't be as good at the original in game Cinematics, because there'll be more limitation, but I gotta say, the way Furious Angel has done their video, I didn't even notice the limitations.

Just think of this style as one step down from the in-game style, but one step up from the Comic style. What do yall think?

Seraph has got to be the one program that most people do not know well enough about. I mean there are lots of speculation of who he was before Neo. Was he an agent, was he an angel, was he a former one? Who was and is Seraph? I think the Devs really should do a chapter on Seraph. The people want to know more about him!

I've thought about buying the Amimatrix to complete my Matrix DVD collection, and I've heard mixed reviews about this. Is it worth buying?

A while back it's been discovered that Agent Gray has the Smith Virus (it's resonable to think he still does since he refuse to return to the source), and ever since then he's always had other Agents surround him. What I want to know is, should we see the Smith Virus affect Gray more as time goes on? I think this would be good for a chapter, at least it will progress the storyline from a Machine side instead of always the Zionist side.

For the Machinist who either run the critical, the archive missions or the regular missions, are yall seeing more of Agent Pace than Agent Gray? I mean I'm not complaining, but it seems like the machines has put Agent Gray offline. Has anyone else notice that?

So, what brought you guys to MxO? I came here because I didn't really like the "fantasy" style MMO, and plus I am a Matrix geek. I have all 3 movies, plus the Animatrix DVD. Plus, I always wanted to take part in the Matrix universe, and now I'm doing that. To me it's really is fun to discuss the movie, and the game with you guys. You guys are just awesome. SMILEY

So what brought you guys to MxO?

Rarebit says that the productions of Cinematics for MxO has been outsourced to a company in LA (I think), what I'm wondering, is will that give us a new animation style in the MxO Cinematics?

I know I'm probably not the first one to think about this, but what if there's someone controlling The General? I mean we all now know that The General wants to restart the war, that's why we have the Red Eye Agents, the N30 Agents, Unlimits, Commandos, and now Elite Commandos. I mean as far as we can tell, The General has been behind everything that threaten to disrupt the peace and the truce. However, what if there was someone else controlling The General? If there is someone controlling The General, I would have to say it's The Oracle. If we all remember from the movies, The Oracle was behind Neo falling in love with Trinity, thus having him break the cycle and usher in an era of peace. So, it wouldn't be that far of a stretch for The Oracle to try to get us to work together to defeat one common enemy after another, maybe The Oracle is trying to get us to end the Cold War and have real peace. What do you guys think?

I know that this story may be boring, and it may just be a copy of Neo's story with a few changes (espically at the end), but I think it would be kinda cool if we could see a story or something on the previous ones, what do you guys think?

I was wondering if liaisons are required to spend a certain amount of time in game, or can they just pop in any old time? I'm wondering because I see some liaisons log in everyday, and other, doesn't log in as much, so I'm just wondering if the Devs has set up a certain amount of time a liaisons must spend in the game.

I'd like to share with you, a revelation that I had since I've watch my leader Cryptos 'malfunction'. Soon after this incident, people from Zion has been hinting that if indeed the machines are behind what happened to Cryptos, his 180 degree turn, then they have broken the truce by inserting a program into the man. However, no one seems to realize that we all have programs inside our minds. How else do you think that we are able to jack into the simulation? Our RSIs are programs, and they are stored within our mind when they are not in the simulation. Lets dig a little deeper. Humans are grown, not born, how do you think we get our personalities, how we get our speech pattern, etc? They are programmed into us by the machines. I would go as far to say that maybe, we're all programs, with human bodies and when we are out of the Matrix, our programming is stored within our minds, running our thoughts, our feelings, everything about us in the real, and when we are in the simulation, our programs are put into the simulations as our RSIs. I'm sure this is nothing new and have been brought up before, but I think it's appropriate to bring this up again in view of recent events.

Lets say that you won the lottery, and you decided to start your own company that will manage and produce MxO. What would you do to improve MxO and everything having to do with MxO?

I would hire more Devs, more to work on the game, but also create an entire other team to work an expansion pack. Why not just make MxO 2.0, because I don't want to divide up the community between MxO 1.0 and 2.0. So I would just use MxO as the base for the expansion. The expansion would fix the bugs that this game still has, but also include stuff like new district. I actually would add the Freeway between Downtown and International, and people could fight on the Freeway (like they did in Reload) and perform mission that has you using the freeway.

I would also get rid of the current Hardline system and actually move them indoor and have them be telephones inside buildings. The only time you would see a phone booth HL is if it's in the subway station.

I would have an Arena, where people could duel, or watch people duel, and there would be more than one. One would be a Dojo, another would be an arena that you see in paint balls competition, and finally one would be completely bare. These Arenas will give those CQ points a purpose. The Arenas will have a ranking system, and the more CQs you have, the higher you are in the system. However if you lose, then you lose CQ points and your ranking goes down.

Update the game engine.

Make Cyphs and EPNs their own org with their own controller. Cypherites and EPNs will still have their Rep points that they earned with either Zion or Machine, it would just transfer over to their respective org.

Melee weapons and new trees for those weapons.

Try to merge all three servers with the Arenas being PvP hot zones, and the Matrix itself being non-PvP. EvE has one major server and its working out great for them.

Finally, I will concentrate on "The Real". No there won't be Hovercraft wars, and you won't be able to fly across the landscape. It's basically going to be an area where you can set up shop, faction housing, your own personal housing etc. Basically it would be like a sandbox kind of deal. Each org will get their own section of "The Real" that will look different. For example, Zion will look like well, Zion. The machines org will look better, kinda of like 01, The Mervs will look like something out of the French monarchs. EPNs and Cyphs will probably have similar characteristic to Zion and Machines. Now here comes the fun part. In your own area you are not flagged. However, when you go to another area, you will be flagged. Since I'm a cyph, if I go to an EPN or even a Zion area, I will be flagged. However if I stay in the Machines or Cyphs area I won't.

Now in The Real, you can either jack into The Matrix either through your faction housing or personal housing. It'll just simply be a chair that you can right click on, and you can either go to Loading Area, or to whatever HL you have tagged in The Matrix. It'll basically be another HL.

Now it's time for your ideas, and money is no object.

I've heard that there's now an increase in awakened bluepills because of the red sky, something around 7%, and I was wondering two things, 1. Are 7% of bluepills actually being awakened or is the number lower? 2. Are the bluepills surviving these awakenings or are they just dying in their pods?

Ok, so in order to get into New Zion, you have to cancel all system and do a free fall through a hole, but I have a question about the free fall. How can you tell when it's time to restart the system? There got to be at least one or two hovercraft at the bottom of that hole that didn't restart in time and just crashed at the bottom. Also, as we saw in Revolution, it doesn't restart all the time, so what do you do when it can't restart?

The Matrix has two psychics, The Oracle and Madame T. The Oracle seem to be able to see into the future with her eyes, while Madame T (from what I can gather) use tarot cards to tell what will happen in the future. However, I have to wonder if they are really psychics, or if they're just programs who can read the coding of the Matrix and take the codes that they read and relay the messages to the human operatives. What do you guys think?

You know, I like reading LE threads, and taking part in them, but there are a few things that can ruin an LE event or the reading of an LE thread, and I think that we should go over them so that we can all have a more pleasant LE experience.

1. Don't flood the Area chat with useless chatter!

This is one of the biggest problem I've seen with the LE events, people who talk about things that aren't even related to the events, I mean comon, do we really want to know that your puppy needs to go out because he pissed on the carpet again? No we do not. Please take it to Faction/Crew/Team or Private Chat. We are only interested in converstation that pertains to the event.

2. Repetition!

If someone already said it, then why do you need to say it? Is there really a point in adding a "me too" to the converstation?

3. Do not advertise in LE events!

Now this hasn't been a big problem, but it does happen every once in awhile, if you have stuff that you need to sale, or want to sale, then go advertise on your server's Marketplace forum, if we want to buy it, we'll either reply to your thread or contact you in private in game. When you advertise during a live event, you're just making a fool of yourself.

4. Don't PM the LE characters.

They're not going to respond, trust me, in fact I'm willing to wager 100 mil info that they won't respond, so it's pointless.

5. Remember the Golden Rule!

Treat other people the way you want to be treated, nothing more to be said on here.
