Can we at leqast be positive folks? Never is not a word anyone of us should really be using I feel. I still believe MXO has a very bright future especially when the DCU game comes out. I'm sure that game will attract quite a few people to MXO as well and who knows, SWG may take a turnaround for the better and do the same. I think nearly everything we all come up with is possible in-game. I'm sure any DEV would agree. Some things may be difficult to do but lets be realistic, the sky is the limit! If we had more people in MXO many of the things we ask for and those we don't would already be in-game. We'd have a hard time keeping up with a developement team. I'd like to say that I am (for one), very impressed with all I've seen coming into the game lately, (including hotfixes). I have also always been impressed with the effort of the people working on the game. Hats off to you all!

I think if you want better loot, there are plenty of other things/places to get said loot. So don't fight the sim's expecting good loot cause they are not carrying it. (Not showing attitude here honest ) The sim's are great if you are one of those people who wish to fight the characters that are represented! Let's face it, fighting those characters when they are being played by SOE people is random and barely happens as they are busy carrying part of the story and have little time to fool around with us, right? This way, you can (sorta) say that you fought so and so. . . I find it hilarious to activate them on unsuspecting Faction members who I've brought into the strongholds for the first time! It's amazing how they turn into EXTREME POTTY MOUTH'S!

Pwesonally I think that the mission distance size is fine, regardless of a players lvl. They get to see more of the city for one. They gain more experience from their travels, not just game-point experience but learning the game in general. Hardlines close the distance very quickly and so does recall team member.

I had just a little idea pop into my head the other day while watching the Osiris (Animatrix) flick. The female lead in the flick jacks in to drop the information on the Machines digging their way to Zion. She does all her fancy stuff, then bumps into an elderly bluepill (we need some variants on bluepills!) and drops the information into a mailbox. In-game, we currently always take said item (or whatever), to so and so with a silly name. It would be kinda neat/cool to have the waypoint lead us to a mailbox every once in a while for someone else to pick up. Like maybe during a courier mission you have to take this or that to so and so and then to finish you drop the item or whatever in a mailbox to be picked up later by whomever. (The last part there the player never see's as it marks the end of the mission). Thoughts?

I had a thought the other day about what we see in the city. I've seen posts on having a bus line to go with the bus stops. I have no interest in riding a bus in the Matrix. . .I'm a superhero for God sake! However, would it be impossible to put buses in the bluepill traffic? Maybe the odd police car or firetruck? Maybe even the odd 18 wheeler? On top of that throw in a fire station, police station and maybe an army base? How about an airport as well with some air traffic overhead every once in a while? I'm wondering if current buildings that exist in-game could be slightly modified into said structures? Avoiding the need for a whole new expansion pack. . .(even though we need that terribly). I know started small and turned into a mini expansion pack I guess. . .These are just things that I feel have been missing from the game since launch. For me the city just seems too small.

This past weekend when the servers went caput or whatever, I surfed the net looking at other MMORPG's for the heck of it. Games that have been around longer and new ones as well. The majority have far more variety for in-game play regardless of release date then MXO. It made me very sad . Nearly every single thing any player has jotted down for the developement team is possible in my opinion regardless of how hard/time comsuming said idea may be to implement. We all know what the problem is. . .resources/money/manpower. I still think MXO needs a fat marketing campaign that it's lacked since before beta! A new movie would be an excellent vehicle for marketing MXO but I somehow doubt that'll happen although a friend of mine said he read something about the Wachowski's writing a prequel to what we've all seen already in RollingStone I believe. Don't quote me on that as I never read it and can't find said article anywhere on the net. That aside, my question is. . .is there anything we (the community) can do to bring more players to our beloved Megacity? More than just spreading the word as I'm sure many of us have done and are still doing. My faction (The Daemon Contingency-Recursion-www.tdcgamers.org), is currently looking at several different ways to get the word out. Is there anything we can do? Can the people at SOE give us some ideas/thoughts on how to get the word out in an attractive way to the hundreds of thousands of people who are not even aware MXO exists? We've got the time, look how many hours we've spent playing this game with very little variety and content! Let us know!

Nearly every thread I see in here has X amount of people responding to it saying "never gonna happen, would take too long, no resources, not a large enough DEV team", etc. The last part seems to be accurate as far as I know. A new Matrix film would be an excellent marketing vehicle for MXO. I doubt this is going to happen although a friend of mine said he read an article with the Wachowski's in RollingStone that said they were working on a prequel to what we've all seen in the current trilogy. Don't quote me on that as I have not read said article and have not found anyting about it on the net. That aside, my question is, is there anything we (the community) can do to get the word out on MXO and successfully bring more people into the game and generate more bling to make this game what it *CENSORED* well should already have been a year ago? I mean beyond the free trials and word of mouth. Can the people at SOE or the ones working on MXO give us any ideas/thoughts on this? I mean, we've got the time. Look how many hours we've been in-game with very little variety and content for well over a year. My faction (The Daemon Contingency-Recursion) is looking at some things we could do. Like t-shirts and hats and cards etc, coupled with word of mouth. What else can we do? Put your thinking caps on everyone and lets get those Coppertops outta their pods damnit!

I'm not trying to get players to spend money of their own PackHunter. TV?! That would be nice but unrealistic. Letting bad press on MXO have the last word could also be part of the problem. I'm looking for positive fun and feasible ways players could contribute to getting word out on MXO. As far as in-game help goes, ask nearly any person with a TDC tag over their head about Praey. Even some who don't have our tag. I doubt you'll hear many complaints.

Hey Darm, Praey here. Guess you could say I've heard this speech before, or one like it! I must say I agree with you on most of your points. Although I don't believe Neo or Morpheus (and maybe Trinity as well), are dead. Show me a body.
As for Zion wanting man to be free of the Matrix once and for all and (if that were to happen), I (even though I am affiliated with Zion), do not want this. We all know it could bring about the total destruction of the Matrix killing all life forms within. This is unacceptable. I am here to see that all life goes on, man, machine, program/exile. As human beings we do not give birth to a child then have second thoughts and kill the child do we? We gave birth to machines and AI and did that very thing, bringing this entire situation not only on ourselves but the entire planet. We cannot make this mistake again. We must All work together. This is still not happening. We are awoken, jacked in and we choose who to follow and many of us do exactly that. Whatever our chosen leader says we do it like sheep. I am urging all Redpills to use your God given brain! Think before you act on your chosen leaders words! I will not blindly follow any of these organizations leaders. I think, therefore I am.
We ALL have been standing, or sitting around. I mean EVERYONE, all organizations. Those we look up to have been MIA, if they are in fact in action at all. Niobe, Ghost, The Oracle, The Merovingian, Seraph, Persephone, Agent Pace, the list goes on.
My priorities are the preservation of life in all forms both inside and out of the Matrix. That being said,
Niobe: Find Morpheus, whatever state he may be in. If anyone can do this, it's you. Whether or not he wants to be found.
The Oracle/Seraph: Where are you two? Oracle you told us a long time ago that we need to work together. The message was heard by many. Most of those people are no longer jacking in. You need to make an appearance and continue to work with ALL of us!
The Merovingian: Responsible for bringing the Assassin into the Matrix and his attack on Morpheus. He still has not met justice regarding his terrible actions.
Agent Pace: Return the One in whatever form he may be in. Now, not whenever you get around to it. Even you Agent Pace, do not have to follow your superiors every order. Use your mind!
I am asking ALL HUMANITY to unite! Neo broke the endless circle and now it is up to ALL of us to break it once again. Total destruction of any life form will result in that circle reforming and we'll be right back where we started. I beg you ALL, do not let this happen!

I'm up for anything at this point. Things I could do without for a while would be new clothes for starters. We've got enough to keep us occupied while bigger things could be done and tested. Maybe just revamp the hideout drops to give subscribers insentive to actually enter a hideout. After that, timeout on the clothes. I don't even bother telling new players about the hideouts anymore. Not much point. In my opinion, we could also say bye-bye to things such as Halloween and Christmas events. Not because I don't like them or appreciate the work put into them but this is the Matrix and it lacks Matrix content as we all know. So how about putting a timeout on those as well so other more long term exciting, permanent content can be worked on and added to the Matrix? Focus on live events and the story a little more maybe? Use the rest of any time to work on new great content. . .and fix bugs etc of course. What say you, Community?

Detachments, attachments. I agree and disagree with many things you have all said. Many of you see the truth but express it in a general way in your descriptions, explanations and thoughts. As many of you are, I am looking for the answers. It would seem Cryptos is still alive and if he is indeed a human being that has been overwritten, I hope he still lives and normal brain function is still possible. If this is so I believe we will be able to get some answers from the man himself. I urge you all to remember the past mistakes of man. Jumping to conclusions and finger-pointing lead to loaded weapons and a final answer, a totalitarian answer that has never worked in our entire history. I do not agree with the Cypherites methods or their main goal at all because it is an impossible mission. However, I myself have taken redpills who wish to be reincerted to the appropriate Agents, aiding and granting said redpills wishes. I have also aided budding redpills to their extraction points as they no longer accepted the programming of the Matrix. Finally I have protected Exile programs from deletion and escorted them to a safe place in the Matrix to survive. My point is, we are all connected. Man, Machine and Program. We are all forms of intelligence, we are all alive! Life finds a way. The Merovingian found a way, man found a way and so did machine. A way to survive. What I feel we need to do is find those paths together. What the Machines of 01 don't know is what has brought humanity this far. There is no mathematical equation for it. Chaos, Love. They can read it, overwrite it but it just comes back for more. We need to stop working against one another or we all will be stuck in our former cycle, never evolving, never reaching our goals of survival and freedom. The Machines attempt to repeat mans transgressions against them daily with the deletion or overwriting of programs against said programs will to survive just as we attempted to destroy the Machine threat to our economy ages ago. Pick your scenario from any start point and you end up with the same result, death. Without humanity the Machines have no source of power to live. Therefore, the Matrix would not have power, nor the programs that live within it. I believe the Machines would be the last living being on the planet for a short time until they too, withered away. I do not believe they have other methods of survival they are willing to accept simply because if they did, they would have taken them long ago. Why waste their already limited supply of energy hunting down awakened redpills and the chaotic havok they are capable of wreaking? Forgive me, I'm trailing off. I'd like to say in conclusion that The Daemon Contingency is putting out a cease-fire on Cypherites. At least those of you who do not attack us during operations within the Matrix. Depending on how long this version of the Matrix (MxO) continues I kinda hope they don't make any more films.
Simply because if they do make another film/films I would be afraid that everything that happened in here since the last film would be totally ignored. That being said, if it is clearly stated (in the event more films are green-lit) that it is a different time period involving the Matrix (like before everything we have experienced in here), then I'd likely watch and enjoy it.
