Ok, I think there's some confusion about what exactly is possible in the Matrix universe when it comes to giving someone a redpill and bluepill & handling of a bluepill. I would very much like the Devs who write the storyline to weight in on this.

1. We all know that the redpill is a tracer program designed to disrupt the carrier signal of the newly awakened redpill and thus allow the EPNs and Zionist to locate him in the real and pick him up. However what is a blue pill? Is it simply a sleeping pill, or is it also another type of program?

2. If a bluepill decides that he wants to stay asleep and take the blue pill. Can the Zionist/EPN come back the next day and give him the redpill and extract him or would the blue pill disallow the possible awakening?

3. Can a bluepill be recalled? I thought that bluepills cannot be recalled because to do so would overload their brain and kill them in the pod. I also thought that since they are blue pills, they cannot be subject to the same rule bending that the redpills are capable of.

Once again, will a Storyline Dev please respond to this, thank you.

Would it be possible to reset the headless on Recursion? The boss hasn't respawned for two days, and if he doesn't respawn, then the headless doesn't spawn.

Recently some changes have come into my life, like gaining someone new in my life who means alot to me and who is just the most wonderful and amazing person I met and who I will be starting a life together with soon. There's also the fact that I'm in grad school now, and I am excelling in it. Simply put, I'm not able to put forth the same amount of time that I used to for MxO. After much thought and consideration, I don't see my playing time increasing anytime soon. I have moved on to better things in my life, and while I'll never forget the fun things that I've been through with MxO, like The Oracle said, "Everything that has a beginning, has an end." This is my end for MxO.

So we all knew that Smith was supposed to return to the source to be deleted and replaced with an upgraded agent, however he doesn't. He enters into the Matrix as a virus, and maybe an exile. However, I want to know is how. I doubt he'd go to the Merovingian to gain access to the Matrix, there was no way Smith would serve under another program. I mean did he just decide to not return to the source and somehow magically returned to the Matrix? This is never really fully explained on how he returned, and that's kind of disappointing. It's also disappointing how he was able to get the power to copy and paste himself on other bluepills and programs.

So we know that Paul and Rarebit consult the Wachowski brothers on the storyline of this game, what I always wonder is how detailed is the consulting? Do they go over every Critical Mission, every Live Event, or do they just do an overview of each sub-chapters or chapters? What about when it comes to things that seem to contradict the movies and what is considered Canon, are the Wachowski brothers consulted on that? I've always wondered about that, so discuss! SMILEY

So, I was in Datamine, well Datamining for Info and apparently the Datamine Construct has Agents that will spawn (not a DM spawn) and will hunt you down and keep hunting you down until, you either die, get out, or kill it. Anyways I had one spawn on me and I was trying my best to HJ away and get to a proxy. Well it got some good shots at me and I did get to a proxy, however soon after I tagged the proxy the agent killed me! So my dead RSI was actually transported from Datamine to Tabor Park! God that was the funniest thing I've ever seen, I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.

So....um.....we've been pretty caught up in The Intruders, Halborn and Carlyne. Also the Morpheus Sim is running around talking to Exiles. Yea, so, I was wondering if anyone still remembers that Machines and Zion are at war with one another, with the Merv profiteering from both sides. Kinda lost that War feeling.

We are at War right, I'm not assuming anything, right?

Has anyone else heard of a Matrix Convention in Charlotte, NC? My friend's boyfriend talked about it but he doesn't know when it's susspose to happen. Has anyone else heard of it? Also, if I go, should I dress up as a Cypherite, would anyone outside the MxO community get the refrence or just be lost?

So, I'm doing a RP story (in Recursion NR) about Meta's interaction with exiles and the Blackwood Construct. Can anyone tell me what the Blackwood construct is like, and whether or not exiles can mimic the process of life. You know, growing up from a child, to a teenager, and into an adult. Or do they just come into the Matrix as adult or whatever age they were when they were machine programs? Thanks for all the help. SMILEY

I think I left MxO about three months ago, around the time Sati's playground was released. Anything new, exciting, etc. Should I bother to come back?

So, I've been catching up a long time player on the storyline who may be coming back to the game. During this convo, I realized that no one really died in MxO. I mean even Morpheus came back as a sim. Agent Gray was disabled, but came back only a few days later. Which confuses me because he can't return to the source due to being infected with the Smith virus. The only major character that really died in MxO is Agent Skinner. Danielle Wright was "dead" but she came back. Whenever a character "dies", he/she always comes back in one form or another.

I think this has to do with the big upset that happened whe Morpheus was killed in Chapter 1.3. I understand why Rarebit and others would be reluctant to kill off a character because of the upset that did happen with Morpheus. But at the saame time, this whole "revolving door" with character's mortality just seems alittle too DC/Marvel Universe to me.

Can't we have a character die and actually stay dead?

Why is SoE holding onto MxO, and yet not doing anything for it? I know that they took us as a deal for some MMORPG for a DC or Marvel based MMORPG, but comon. The Matrix Online deserves better than to be ignored, to not have a lead Dev, to not have updates, etc. There are other MMORPGs that have lower numbers than we do, and they're treated better than we are.

Maybe it's time we start looking for a gaming company that'd be willing to talk to SoE about turning MxO over to them. That if we can get past all the licensing issuses and copyrights etc.

Ok, I have been back to MxO for about a week now, and I've kept track of MxO through friends I've made on here, and by checking into DN1 from time to time. Honestly, you guys need to stop your b****ing! So we won't get anymore offical story content, so we won't get anymore missions, etc, whatever. Honestly, even though Chadwick and Rarebit did do the best that they could with what they had, I really didn't care for their story telling style, and I know a few others don't either. Rarebit is now gone, and we now have a choice. We can either contiune to whine on DN1, or we can either put up or shut up.

I don't know about you guys, but I am truging on. I am still writing Meta's ongoing RP story, and I've taken part in other people's RP, and I actually have a few RP events planned myself. One that should be coming up very soon that I am really excited about. So we don't have an offical storyline anymore, honestly that just frees us to be more creative, to finally let us explore where we couldn't explore before because we were restricted by the offical storyline.

So, you can either take advantage of this opporunity, or you can sit here on DN1 and whine and moan. Which one is it going to be?

So Sieges and I were talking about this last night, if they decided to make an MxO TV show, and decided to put your character in the cast, who would play your character?

For MetaLogic, I think it would have to be none other than Hugh Laurie. The only problem I see is the age difference, Mr. Laurie is in his 30s or 40s, and Meta is in his mid 20s. Now as for why I pick Mr. Laurie. Well mainly because Meta and Dr. House personality are pretty much similar to one another.

So, which actor would play your MxO Character and why?

So CD # 3 is apparently busted, and I'd like to play MxO for the last two months that it's online. I'm wondering if anyone has downloaded the game, and if they have, if I could have the Exe file that y'all use to install the game I already paid full price for the game, I'm not paying it again just because CD #3 gets stuck on GraveD17.wav

With MxO now having an offical closure date, I think we should all take the time to say what we want to say to the Devs and players.

I honestly don't think we'll be able to create a community quite like ours in any other MMO, which is a shame because we may bicker among ourselves, but at the end of the day we are a family, MxO Family, and when push comes to shove, we stick together.

MxO was one of the last standing thing from the Matrix Franchise, we lasted well into 2009, even when the Matrix: Revolution was released in 2003. So, is this the end of the Matrix Franchise? Will the story of the Computer Simulation end when we go dark, or will it resurface in the future like Star Wars?

As of right now, I don't think it'll resurface, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

Dear SOE,

The Matrix Online was my first MMO, I brought it because I wanted to play an Agent. I went to gaming stores to try to find a copy of it, and I even heard that the servers has been shut down and I was too late. However I didn't believe him. I went online and found MxO's home page and to my joy the servers were still up. I ordered my copy of the game (which I still have) and a game card. Hell I even brought a new video card so that I could at least play moderately well on it.

I was so excited when I first jacked in, so much to do, so much to see, and events! Oh my Gods the events! I joined in right at the beginning of the first anniversary and of the spawn of the sleepwalkers! I got even more excited when I started to meet characters from the Matrix inside the game! Sure they were Devs playing characters, but in my mind, the 4th wall was never broken.

Pretty soon I was hyperjumping and running all over MegaCity. Gray wanted my help with Anome and his Unlimits, the Bag Lady wanted help. There was endless things to do, endless players to see! Every corner, every crook and nanny of this city was unique and so was this game. I even took part in Beta-testing CR 2.0, which I got a cool hat for. I thought this game would always be supported.

Then after CR 2.0, you started cutting out things from us. You started taking away Devs like HCFrog and Walrus (true Walrus did come back), leaving Rarebit to run the game himself. Then Chadwick quit after the Unlimit Arc. I never cared for Chadwick's writing style, I thought they were too comic-book-ish, however he was a link between MxO and The Wachowski Brothers. That was a very important link because what Chadwick wrote was Canon.

Ok, so we've taken a few hits, and maybe after awhile things will get better. Maybe SOE will re-establish that all important link with another story teller, maybe they'll swing another dev by us. Nope, the cuts just keep coming. We didn't have an animator or whatever else was needed, so Rarebit had to recycle content. Which I thought he excelled at. I mean Rarebit was a very talented guy, he could do very much with very little!

I want to talk about Rarebit for a minute here. Now it's true that when he was the last Dev here, he became the focus point of all our anger, rage, disappointment, , etc. We didn't like what he was doing with the storyline, we let him know it, and Gods did we. We didn't like the recycled content, and once again, boy did we let him know it. However, I do have to hand it to the man. When SOE wasn't responding to us, he did. When SOE didn't answer us, he did. He wrote the story after Chadwick left, he created "new" content. Like I said, he did much, with little. He was a divider, and a uniter. I'd hate to think that he quit because we ran him out. I hope he has no ill wills towards us, because I don't think any of us has any ill wills towards him.

Anyways, so we're left with Rarebit, LESIG 2.0, and Walrus who checks in on us once in awhile. Ok, so things didn't look like they weren't improving, but at least we were leveling out. At least we still had what counted in the MxO universe. A continuing storyline, Dev, Org Liaisons who created side stories (Viracondra was the best IMHO), and missions etc. Sure we had the Cinematics cut and then replaced with the shadow of it's former self. However, it seems SOE like to kick a community when it's down.

Rarebit quits, which was a shocking news for all of us. He spelled out his storyline all the way up to Chapter 14, in which I think was suppose to be the end game. After this, many people of the MxO Community sent out letters, e-mails, we wrote on the forums, we contacted Walrus, we tried everything to talk to you. We wanted to make sure that we were going to get a break, that another Dev would be found. However, all we got back was silence. We never could break that wall of silence. We didn't even get anything from Walrus until now.

Then we got the news, all MxO servers goes dark on July 31st, 2009. The Matrix Universe will end. This is what broke the wall of silence. Not we're getting an Intern Dev, not that this game will contiune at a reduced price, not that we're merging Three Servers into One. All of these options we would hate, but we would've accepted. No, it's that y'all are closing the servers down.

You know, I really really would like to know why now, why not right after Rarebit quit? It's obvious now that y'all weren't going to refill his position. Hell, even after he quit, some of us tried to create smaller community stories. I know my faction Familia Grigori make it's own RP, and I tried to get something going. What was the deciding factor to finally close the servers? Will you tell us, probably not, which goes right along with your track record with us at MxO.

Remember back at the top of my letter? When I described my excitment and joy about jacking into the Matrix Online? This was after SOE has taken over, fired most of the Devs and PET. See, instead of investing in MxO, instead of putting a little money into it, y'all decided to lock it in the closet and feed it left overs from other games. It's amazing we lasted so long, and it's no wonder why we're now going dark. We're not going dark because the community failed, we're not going dark because we were a financial sinkhole, we're going dark because of you SOE. We're going dark because you refused to invest in us, we're going dark because you apparently don't understand simple concept like Customer Service, or To make money, you have to spend money.

So, why even take MxO from Monolith? Why even take a game that you weren't going to invest in? Were we nothing more than stepping stones for DC Universe MMO for you guys? Is that why y'all kept us around for so long? If that's the case, then that means you only dated us so you could sleep with our sister.

I will tell you this SOE, you will never find another community like MxO's. We are a loyal, dedicated, and tight community, we never say die. Sure we have our fights, and we have our disagreements, but when push comes to shove, we always band together. Good luck finding that in EQ, Plantside, SWG, or any other games you have, or will have. Thanks to your inactions, you have lost a large percentage of us as customers after July 31st. You certainly have lost me.

Simple question really.

What I'll take away is the memories, the memories of the events, of meeting characters like Niobe, Gray, Pace, Veil, Cryptos, The Merovingian, Ookami. The memories of LESIG's made events, which was awesome, and of course LESIG themselves. I will take away hwo inspiring MxO has been in my RPing Meta's character. I can't believe how well my RP material was, and I've never been as inspired in any other game. However most important of all, I will take away the community, because it was the community that made MxO special, made it feel like home.

I love you guys.

So towards the beginning of MxO, we had a character name Sarah who apparently got up one day in the hospital and just walked out. Since then no one has seen her, and EPN has tried to find her through one of her friends.

What I want to know is, how will this story arc end? Will it be mentioned in the end story events?
