Instead of using the ability tree use then next tab over in the UI. and unload them from the load list on the right. See if that does your trick.

Stealth detection is being looked at. Whether it will change I cant say but the issue has been brought to the devs attention.

In deed it is a known bug.

The vendors like other bluepills in the matrix tend to be scared of change :smileywink:

It should be noted that 10 attempts is a far far to low of a sampling to indcate whether any specific item or abiilty's Defense bonus is working or not given how CR 2.0's "to hit" mechanics work.

For a decent ball park figure of effectivness a sampling of 100 or more attempts should be used when testing defense. And for definitive proof like we would use internally we would parse 1000+ occurances to get a true feel of whether the system is working properly.

There are a couple of bugs in the Spy tree allowing folks using it to do excessive damage. These have been noted.

It should be noted that Devistation field has a 50% chance to stun an opponent in its area of effect. While the mouse over doesn't state this, it does.

At this time it is by design that the Viral Defense ability Hyper Deflect can be active with one of the other 3.

In tracking down this kind of issue its good if you report what style and tactic your opponent appeared to be using when the animation played.

Well to be honest how many different animations do you think MxO has for interlock?

 

Lets just say over several thousand....

 

For every bullet time instance to be spot on you would need to HAND fix ever one of them. How many man hours.... Well lets just say that isn't my department and I am happy about it. So if this does get fixed I doubt it will be any time soon, unfortunately sad but true.

 

But it still irritates me....

Note that the Innerstregnth Regen Rate Bonus is an influence and requires an Attribute running on you to actually effect you. And I should say that it requires Buff not a piece of clothing for it to effect you. No Attribute bonus granted by an item is influencable.

Ah yes the ever present arguement x happens more often that y says it should.

 

For MxO the only real test of this scenario is to run a good number of samples with your chat log on and parse the chat log for unique string you are looking for.

 

How many occurances is a good sample I can hear you thinking?

 

Well in the wonderful world of QA I would run the scenario enough to get 1000 stuns to go off then compare how many normal Free Fire Attacks had to go through to get those 1000 sampling. There by getting a % chance of stun going off.

 

Also repeat for interlock.

 

Any sampling lower than this usually will be erronious in the MxO system.

I thought I would chime in here. I found that indeed when the disguise is broken the player's style reverts to Self Defense. This is a bug.

The problem is even a single ability has ALOT of animation possibilities. So it isn't just fixing 1 animation unfortunately.

In you Advanced Video options in the lower left corner of the options window is a item called Effect Types, adjusting can limit which effects you client will view.


Your selections are All, Group, Self, and None.

In essence the number of required animations for a unique set for just 1 of the three styles you mention would be more than several hundred and that estimate is probably low.

if you use teh /bug command it automatically goes to the bug reporting instead of having to change the type of issue after using hte /ccr command. Either way works but I just try to to seperate the two because some folks ARE just /ccr'ing issues which QA will never see.

No there is no fine control for which effects will or will not be shown. This is mostly only available as a performance related option so that on lower end computers player's can turn off effects and help their client's performance.

Simply put, If you are using a bug to your advantage (more than just doing the research to report it) your expoiting the system. If you are using that bug against another player that is harassment and exploiting.

Outdoors bodies decay this allows you to loot corpses that might be dead on top of each other. However in mission areas these same bodies do not decay. The issue is that in previously designed missions dead bodies were placed in the mission areas so that player's, as part of mission objectives, could interact with them. If bodies decayed then these objective oriented missions would become very broken so dead bodies in mission areas don't decay.


Now we have the PB missions with lots of mobs in each misison area. So now we have to live for the time being with the legacy of the early design. Not a perfect world.... /sigh.

This is a known issue as is probably the main issue for all the "missing npc" from missions we hear about. However a fix is being looked into.
