Side Roll Escape Animation is pretty broken atm.

 

It only plays properly if your opponent is using Self Defense AND there is enough room behind you to execute the animation. Otherwise you get the silly turn around animation.

The wall kick animations are not being used for CR 2.0 at this time.

Well reading this I took up the challenge and went to see how much I could really get of Viral Accuracy.

 

I was able to get up to 135 with just Attributes/Items/Abilities

If I use the Upgrade Attacks ability I have a 254 Viral Accuracy.

 

I can hear you asking how is that possible?

 

Every piece of clothing has +Viral Acc bonus on it. (at least +1%)

 

Whitfield's MK II Code Launcher (glasses)

Taggert's Pipeline (shirt)

Enhanced Brown Holster Jacket Highcollar (jacket)

Enahnced Arasiki Threaders Gloves (hands)

Enhanced Brown Misene Pinstripes (pants)

Enhanced Indigo Skaver Low Boots (shoes)

 

no weapon or hat.

 

My loadout was just the basic down to Ballista for the Upgrade,

Upgrade Attack ability,

basic down to Network Hacker,

Basic down to Run Program (Proxy Coder Discipline)

 

With my Reason set to 30

In the Dataminer ability tree itself has Find Data Node and Syphon Data Node. Both of these suppliment the early abilities you get in Operative and Spy Disciplines.

Because we eliminated all the animation medium and long interlock your RSI now just hops forward and attacks this was necessary due to have animations are handled in CR 2.0.

Yes ShadowSK you would be correct however the animator and engineer that were working on this at the time removed them for reason that were pertinent at the time. And as was pointed out... that is just the state of things at this time.

Ok I spent about and hour data tapping in creston heights today and never failed once. So now to your issue, a few questions first.

 

What level is your character you are having the issue on?

What level are the following abilities for you character at?

 

Locate Data Node

Tap Data Node

Find Data Node

Syphon Data Node

 

Are you using a Data Node Locator or Data Node Goggles?

Are you using the Basic Data Tap or the Advanced Data Tap tool?

 

Do you have any clothing that increases your Tap Data Node or Syphon Data Node skills?

The removal of disarming an opponent was a design choice for CR 2.0. In effect the Gunman trees derive a sizable portion of their DPS from the weapon they equip. Allowing disarming would be a distinct disadvantage to ONLY gunman tree load outs. With out anyway to make available the same type of DPS decrease to Coder, Hacker, Spy, and MA load outs it would unbalanced to keep disarming in the game.

 

While this is functionality removed from the game it was necesary. It was easierly to remove one aspect of combat than to build from scratch 4 new systems to cover the other loadouts.

As I noted during the CR2.0 on the test world any UI changes have to work in all resolutions supported by the game. Run the client in 800 x 600 and see how much screen space is available for changes.

I repor'ed it this morning and got a bug to the devs. Its an issue when guard breaker is used against any opponent that is using a gun in interlock. Sometimes the ability wont even function properly not just give a bad animation.

the problem would be the man hours required to adjust the animations for Hit/Hit and Hit/Miss scenrios for all style/tactic combinations. That is only a couple of thousand animation possibilities. In essence, not very likely.

Initiative only works, currently, when the Desperation ability is running. I will use my Engine and Turbo Charger analogy here as it seems to have worked before.

  • Initiative currently adds to your Acc for interlock special abilities when active.
  • Initiative currently is only available from the Desperation ability.
  • Initiative is your engine.
  • Initiative Bonus is your Turbo Charger which does nothing if your engine is not running.

On a side note please be aware that even if your Acc was 500, you could still roll a 1 on your To Hit roll for the round. Not very likely but its still possible, if just improbable.

As for the first part of your question I dont know of any that are planned at this time.

Desperation's bonus scales depending on how much health you have at the time you activate it. The actual numbers I would have to dig around a bit to find as I dont have them right off the top of my head.

Did anyone /bug it? you should be getting your info for recycling. If not please do, please differeniate between if the issue is in your code archive or your inventory? as we had an issue many many months ago with recycling items in you inventory.

NPCs walking out of mission areas is a known issue.


NPCs using Melee Free Fire attacks? well that is a new one on me but it might be possible under certain circumstances but wouldn't bet on it. /shrug

I have found using the Gunman abilities that if you get an enhanced weapon of your preference that causes the state you want most, usually because your largest specials require it, you have a better chance of getting off your larger DPS abilities.

Because while its not probably a level 30 could get it solo there is nothing to stop a group of 50s along with the 30 getting it for him.

Though now that I think about it.... I am wondering if there is a level limit gating some other factor to getting to the encounter....

The Detection ability no longer requires the concentration ability to load.


The Detection ability adds to you ability to detect stealthed opponents, it doesn't guarantee it. The ability is also a requirement for using the Concealment Countermeasure Tool.

Personally my normal character use

20 / 20 / 20 / 20 / 9

This way I can switch out abilities and clothing as needed and let my play style determine if I win or lose. In truth most of the time the 20% influence bonus to something isn't going to be the difference between me winning or losing in pvp. Situational awarness and skill do.

not the first 5%... the first 5 attribute points i believe... correct me if im wrong tho
The first 5 pts of your attribute give you no bonus.

Not to disappoint but I generally don't duel or pvp with my admin RSI. I only do so for special occassions, like in the image HT posted he had just won a tournament so I gave him to option if he wanted.

  Indeed Tytanya, the surest way to get them tool tip to activate properly is the place the tip of the cursor in the upper left corner of the buff icon. And/or move the cursor from a object on the hot bar then back down to the buff icon and the tool tip should show up proper for the buff.
