Before Colbert launched his campaign, the top optional candidate was Xenu. So now the choices are between him and Serenity. Judging by the contest rules, it'll probably be Serenity, but hey, there's hope!

This looks really interesting...

It's a long article, so I'll try to summarize here. Basically, some company is trying to setup a service where you only need the most basic components to play and let their own processors handle the job. This means you can play Crysis with max settings on a Macbook.

"The best part? It already has serious buy-in from major publishers, including EA, THQ, Codemasters, Ubisoft, Atari, Warner Bros., Take-Two, and Epic Games. Oh, and 2D Boy."

It looks like everyone's interested in this. It uses a subscriptions service and is in beta testing now. Man, I hope it works. I couldn't imagine being able to play Crysis on the best settings without some sort of Alienware-esque miracle machine dropping out of the sky on my head.

I'm aware that the Combat Revision 2.0 is a radical change in the way you own security guards. Unfortunately, due to other activities, such as mid term exams, 360 playing, and an overall lack of interest, I've not had the chance to go to the test server myself, and due, again, to overall laziness (and my personal computer happened to blow up-go figure), I probably won't test it out for myself anyway. When it goes live, how rough will the initial change be, for myself and people who don't actually visit the forums and such and thus won't have a good warning until the Zero Hour?

1:59 Sleepwalkers stop attacking

2:00 Wadsworth gives a speech. The speech echoes throughout the Rogers Way Concert, silencing all conversation.

2:01 The Lights begin swinging wildly. Suddenly, massive Blue Code Blasts reach out and strike a large group of unprepared redpills. They all vanish.

2:02 All hell breaks loose. A few Redpills realize that the haywire lights are now susceptiple to Code Rewiring, and proceed to attack the Sleepwalker Phantoms guarding them.

2:06 The Lights begin sapping the energy of nearby Redpills. Merovingian soldiers begin concetrating their attack and manage to weaken the Sleepwalker guards.

2:11 A light is deactivated. Rogers Way quickly becomes a mopping-up exercise as the Redpills coordinate their attacks better.

2:34 With all the lights out, Redpills begin assessing their damage when Ms Wells appears and immediately reactivates the lights.

2:39 Operative ZippydaSquirl is annihilated by Sleepwalkers while deactivating a Light, returns to ship to heal. (screen froze while loading into Loading Area)

Okay, so far this Event was fine with me, but this just pissed me off to no end. With the Account In Use error everyone's having, I thought that any planned parties would be postponed until it was fixed, but, not only was it NOT, but the Merv decided to host a party AT 2:30 in the goddamn morning! that's almost midnight PST! What the hell kind of timing is that? I heard about it on the radio (and not from the Merv himself), but by the time I managed to get there the only thing left was **bleep** *CENSORED* EPN gankers and a Cake saleswoman.

I'm so pissed I'm considering......well, something. Nevermind, I'm just venting. Oh, and opening this up for discussion.

I think this belongs elsewhere. Begone!

On Tuesday, July 18, 2006 Sony Online Entertainment will be transitioning The Matrix Online Official Forums to an internal forum solution. Transitioning to this new system gives us the opportunity to offer new functionality and update the system as often as needed. The new forums solution gives us greater flexibility and allows us to provide you with a better forum experience.

Your Forum Handles, post counts, posts, etc., will be transferred from the existing forums to the new forums. bookmarks, subscriptions, friends lists, floated threads, etc., will most likely not transfer over. If you currently use any of these, you will want to make note of them before the transition, so that you can set them up once again, after the transition occurs.

Forum Ranks (titles) will go through some changes. However, you will automatically receive the appropriate new ranks and titles upon login. Those of you with specialized forum ranks and privileges will be adjusted after the launch of the new forums or shortly thereafter.

During the transition period, the forums will be down for 48 hours. A single temporary board will be available during this time. Data will not be transferred from the temporary forum, so don’t get too comfortable there. If any of this information changes, we will post the updated information on the official website.

When The Architect was frustrated with trying to configure a Matrix that the humans would accept, he turned to a program whose primary function was to study the human nature. From there on, the fate of everything was in her hands. She invented a little game for one person to reset the Matrix every couple of decades, just so she can watch. She would tweak each human's personality so the show would be different every time, just to fulfill her amusement.

Then she got bored, and introduced a Cold War Truce.

Everyone's been playing into her goals, her plans, as she strived for more entertainment. Every "choice" someone made was all cleverly and insidiously designed by her, using complicated sequences of cause and effect, reaction chain reactions, and putting bull**** in people's heads to make it seem as if this goal or that campaign was all their idea.

She wants to be entertained, so she causes strife between Morpheus and the Machines over the remains of the One, causing him to create light shows with his code bombs, making her giggle with glee, and causing a chain reaction that led to his dramatic death. This sparked a war between Niobe and the Merovingian, her hated enemy.

She put the fear of deletion inside The General's head, so he strives to create a new purpose for his army. Now there's all-out war hidden behind a flimsy Truce, and it's all by her doing.

The One....oh, the One. Another one of her toys designed to give the Machines a headache. There is no 1% chance of bluepills awakening - she wakes them herself and uses them as a way to anger the Machines, causing her happiness.

She tells you what to do, and you do it, because you believe that she is right. She's always right because she knows everything. Or does she? She might know everything because everything has happened as a reaction to her own choices!

She doesn't make predictions, she creates actions and choices. That's how she knows it all, because it's all a part of her plot. All this war, this senseless fighting and attempting to one-up the other, it's all her fault.

The only true way to achieve peace is to destroy her. Delete the Oracle! Then her plans will all fall apart, and all this war can eventually settle and dissipate into peace.

She hides her evil core under a soft, old woman who offers people candy and cookies to give them a false sense of security and happiness around her, like a siren. A ******* Siren. Well you know what? You can take your cookie and shove it.

~This is a theory proposed over the causes of all the fighting within the Matrix. Flaming and spam posts need not apply, for this is only an opinion, although firey arguments are welcome. Don't think you'll convince me otherwise, though. SMILEY

All redpills are susceptible to human nature. It is a fundamental flaw in their brains. Everyone falls to greediness, lust, etc.

The Machines are cold, heartless, calculating. The choice to allow Redpills into their higher ranks will ultimately be their downfall, for one *cough* could supposedly exploit Human Nature to get straight through the ranks to the Source.

If the Architect had any competent strategy within him, he would have detected this inherent flaw in this system. His failure to do so implies of his incompetence.

A smart person remarked to me, "To defeat the Oracle, you would need to operate outside of her field - Time and Choice. To even plan to do this would ultimately result in failure."

But then again...

"The only way to destroy something that exists in a world you cannot control, is to either control that world, or destroy it."

Despite Smith's sadistic nature, I believe he was actually on to something. If it wasn't for Human Nature, he might have succeeded.

The Architect's biggest failure - out of the many, many failures (does this guy EVER succeed at anything?) - is his incapability to Control his own Creation. Doesn't this mean that he's failed to comply with his own programming? Should he not be deleted?

This, of course, brings us back....to Her....

If you don't understand exactly what just happened, I described something I did noobishly in regards to the Matrix Storyline, either in watching the movies (or not) or doing something very....lol-ish in an Event, player or Live.

Well, anyway, 9mmfu will cry "Riders of Rohan!" and HCFrog will suddenly appear over the hill (highway) with a dozen Dire Lupines. And they will destroy the Agents once and for all. And there was much rejoicing.

What O what could it be?

My guess: Doom has invaded MxO.

If so, than someone please direct me through the maze of incompetence my mind enters when trying to find one. Because at this point of frustration, I've come to three possible conclusions:

1) MxO doesn't sell CD Keys anymore (WOW, and I wonder how they get any new players!)
2) I am possibly the biggest idiot, and through this thread (especially the comment above), biggest jackarse in the entire communitity. =_=
3) The process to acquire a new key is just...too complicated.

Data Mining is useless to track the Smith luggables any more..it continues to hone in on luggables that were deleted, and refuses to update itself.

Or am I the only one having this problem? -.-
