Agreed. Definately one of the best events i've been to in a while.
I compiled the poems of the participants last night and the only thing that might not be present is the exact titles but i do have the reader/author so i can fix this if necessary.
In any case Wondeful event, i would like to extend speacial thanks to our Mc of the night Literate Misfit, the bartenders and aswell as the DA for hosting, it was a great deal of fun.
And for the unlucky few that missed the poems here they are:

She sees me when I wake up
She sees me when i'm awake
She tells me the things i do wrong but when she does
I dont care I feel the feeling of intimante and care
I hold her tight knowing it with love
the way i feel is so deep that I will never die
While her face touches mine
Green- 0101Quidam1010
Green
is
my favorite color!A color of solace . . .
Of safety, and allness . . .
Of meadows through which waters flowed . . .
The color of plant life . . .
A color of no strife . . .
Of grasses and trees and of . . .
{i}Code? {/i}
Green
is
my
favorite
color.
What now do I see?
Green encompassses me!
Are we ignorant actors on stage?
Did this color I loved so
Betray me? I don't know.
{i}But . . . {/i}
It's the color of my gilded cage.
Green
is
my
favorite
color?
What masks as normality
Is this false reality
Created by soulless machine!
So unfetter their minds
From invisible binds
All bathed in this sea of green . . .
Green
was
my
favorite
color . . .
Today
I
Shall
choose

In memorandum Lady Return.
She touched our lives and inspired all who knew her.
My Sunshine, My friend
I think about you everyday and can never write all the things I'd like to say,
I wish with all my heart that I could erase the distance that keeps us apart,
because you have a precious warmth that leaves a touch of sunshine behind.
You're a blossum of the rarest kind.
In Pieces we stand-AgntMills
The price to pay
a piece of you
a piece of me
thats torn in 2
the hope to dream
the dream to hope
a noose now loosened
on deathly rope
a piece of skin
of skin in peace
knights in awe
at this caprice
darkened water
now in sludge
taint everything
that you misjudge
hate to see
and seeing hate
what malice lies
beyond this gate
telling secrets
of secrets told
hold in heart
what secrets hold
a piece of them
a piece of you
broken battered
and torn in two
a piece of skin
a piece of hear
mind and body
we depart
so now in chaos
left as token
we stand in pieces
still unbroken
Thank you
Untitled- Liliane
I miss her.
She was the cause
of my broken heart.
She fed my jealousy
and soothed my hate.
She loved him
but loved another.
I was told not to
but told too late.
We all met in
late December.
The next December
I did fear A circle I had
noticed closing,
pain and love
for a wasted year.
But now that he
was done and gone,
it was my turn
to break her heart,
I see him here
and see her there,
and he was the nothing
that tore us apart.
I'd give her any-
thing she wanted,
if anything was
what I could,
But I can't give her
back her heart,
and I won't admit
she's gone for good.
Here I sing
my apologies,
through my eyes
and in my voice,
But it just echos
in my head,
lost through whispers
and in noise.
We have always
hurt each other.
That's just how
we've always been.
And there were times
we needed us
our only sister
and our friend.

An ode to Mega City- Darminian
An ode to Mega City.
The Cold Embrace of Steel brings me to my Home. The Enthralling world of Travellers Asleep, Awake and Neither draws us in with it's Dead Gaze.
The Metal and Glass Behemoths are cold and Lifless Monuments to the new Era, the Giants of Monolithic Proportions. And Myself, Lost in the Beuaty of the Sickening Neon Glow.
Some of the Awakened envy the Sleeping, Others envy the Dead, Ignorance is Bliss to the Ungathered Masses. Together through Ventures in the Concrete Jungle we find Ourselves Warring under the Veil of Peace.
The Enigmatic Sparks of our society are Being Snuffed out like Candels, Leaving Darkness in thier Wake to Hide the deeds Done.
Let not the Shadows Consume our Fleeting Pureities, Seize and hold that to which you treasure for the veil of piece is only that, a veil. An ode, to Mega City.
Geohut
I touched her lips to find a cold the death of my once true love
I am old never to see another day
hiding in my room crying the sorrows of my doom
wanting to see her facer again
i dug a grave so far down i thing i saw an angel frown
i looked at her face
i saw the face of my once true love
i looked deep in the angels eyes and heard a cry
she said to me do not die keep going in time
i will see youevery night in your dreams
i will always be with you in your heart and in your soul
and in your mind
the years went on i never left a tear
i saw the light coming near
an angel appeared in the view i knew it was true
I went to her never looking back as i crossed the gate to eternal bliss
The Beuaty of Sarcasm-AlicethePattern
Sitting in front of a Mirro / I stare past my face / Hoping to see what is inside / Instead I see farther past / Where a door lies waiting.
Mirror* (**bleep**ing macro's) could i set up a information donation box?
With soft effort I push past my reflection and open the door.
On the other side is a court / Mimicry of Ages Past and Splendor lost to time / A king sits on his throne / Heavy crown of burden leaning over his eyes / Shading him from the light as if he had none.
"All hail his Majesty the Imagination / Lord of undreamed dreams / Keeper of the future through unformed thoughts / Master of the mind / Lessons learned and forgotten / Memories treasured and discarded / Ruler of Mu, the Nothing and Everything
The second courtier steps forward / Speaking softly with the point behind her.
"All hail the king of Innocence / Leader of the Pure / Revealer of the good truth / Son of Life and Father of Wisdom / Child of the day and sworn brother of the good night
He who looks up when the rain falls / Ruler of Enlightenment, the healer of worlds."
The third courtier slips from their point / A voice without sound echoing under breath.
"All hail the warrior of Good / The monarch of the grays / The eyes of justice / One who sleeps where light and dark kiss each other silently / Balancer of forces chosen for his heart / Friend of lonely roads and unread books
Commander of gentle reason, the soul within the soul."
The final courtier / Stationed behind her fellows and the king himself / Stepped from her place as a hush descended over the silence / Where echos refused to speak / The sound still for fear of notice.
She walked straight to the kings throne / Putting her arms around his neck / And smiling at me with eyes devoid of spirit.
"All hail our Master / The one who sits on our throne / Unmoving / Unblinking / Unknown / He who will lead us to the promise / All hail the king, deliverer of our world."
I do not look into her eyes again / Instead turning my attention to the King / To realize he is no man but a woman / And she is dead.
A tribute to Ladry Return- Lady Gothique
This a tribute to Return and the Merovingians ::smiles::
Lady Return la fleur du crepuscule qui s'est épanouie, telle la tulipe solitaire et minuscule
rouge et ardente pleine de vie egaillante
dansant parmi les etoiles scintillantes
Finalement, elle a decidé de partir, de nous laisser
Elle me manque, j'aimerais tant la revoir, je suis blessee
Mon coeur brule, Lady Return.
Happy Endings Read by Breech99
I believe in happy endings
Starry skies and dreams come true
Ive believed it since I first met you
I believe in new beginnings
Extra innings, brand new starts
Loving hearts that care the way I do
All these things and happy endings too
Sad songs bring me right down with the blues
Glad songs take me wherever I choose
And I choose to be there
So that I
Can declare why
I believe in happy endings
Youre the reason, loves the way
And Ill believe it till my dying day
I know the cost of tears and trouble
Some get lost, some make it through
Me, I made it, cause I always knew
That you believed in happy endings too
Sad songs bring me right down with the blues
Glad songs take me wherever I choose
And I choose to be there
So that I
Can declare why
I know the cost of tears and troubles
I got lost, but I got through
And I made it, cause I always knew
That you believed in happy endings too
you and me and happy endings toooo
Great turnout and greaj job everyone involved.
