Hello my redpill name is Kroenin curretnly a lvl 21 working for zion.  I have been playing for around 4-6 months now and lately I keep crashing i can't even log into te game.  And it's only happened since the last update not the new release update i think it was the one for cinemtic 4.1 so which ever update that was i forget.   Any hwo i never had a probelm logging in and plauying to my hearts content but now i find it extremly frusterating to even log on now.  I crash just trying to log in any idea or help thanks in advnce.

I have a general questions I feel I should already know this but I'm just trying to clarify it for my self.

 

here's some facts.

 

1.I am lvlv 17  about 8the of the way to lvl 18

2.I am on the Synatx server (not sure what that has anythin g to do with it)

3.I have been doing standard missions for the past 5-7 lvls

4.I havem't gotten any critical missions in the same time frame as above (excpet the neimatic mission of course)

5. I have a rep of around 67-68 I think for ZIon

6.Other the the Pandora's boxes are the more crinitcals whenI get higher Rep or higher lvl's

 

I am not bored but tired of doping reg missions.  I 'm just wondering if tere are more as I go.

Any input is appercieated.

OK I finaly got the test server to work for me.  I have been patching now for about 5 to 15 mintues and about 25% done.  No I have never tested vefore and I never got to be a beta tester I only had dial-up connection.  I have DSL now  ( nice change)  Anyway.  My question is this

 

1. How do I test?

 

2. What do I look for?

 

3. How do I know if it's bug or just my computer acting up?

 

4. Am I an idiot for not already knowing all of this?

The other thing I have Problems is this I can't manualy copy the testlogin and the test patch from the internet they come up unable to locate server.  The patch notes come up fine  And I don't have the knowledge enough to change the copy installation to change the files so I nedd help please help I want to test.

Hey everyone I don't know if this is the proper place to put this if it's not im osrry.  ANyway.  If you haven't figured it out by now the Test Server is up and running  YYOOOWWWIIIEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  I just found out my self and am doing the manual copy process.  

 

Her'es some things to help save a headache for everytone. 

 

1. you go to save the testserver link thingy and you extract if and try to open it and it gives you any kind of an error screen. 

 

Then follow the on screen diretions it gives you for a manual installation. 

 

I thought i download was a bad one it wasn't.  If your lucky you wo'nt have to.  See you all ther.

I keep reading about these people who have only been pklaying for a couple of days and they are getting to like lvl 20 and more I ve been playing about 2 or so if not more months.  And just now got to lvl 16.  I don't power lvl and I don't get anyone to help me I want to earn my stripes so to speak.  Is it I'm not putting in a much time as everyone else or what I my self put into the game around about 10-20 Hours a week into it.  Also I found a really easy and fast way to get XP and thats from tapping the access nodes around the mega city I have tapped 3 of them.  Got very nbice XP from them too.  However I found 2 guids on where teh keys are and I run into 3 problems.

 

1. I go to the location and theres nothing there.

2. I go and Keep killing everyone in sight wait for the boss to respawn but he never does.

3. I kil everyone and the boss respawns BUT I get killed when thje other gangs members attack me.  I make sure I hgave plenty of health pills, tactic boosters and such and I love using the kung fu ability but to aveil./

 

AM i doing som4hitng wrong or ios there a better guid to go off.  I have 1 ugid from the redpillgreeters and one from a archiiive thingy.

Um I have noticed that some people are saying that in oder to make agents not come after you is to find keys? and tag something or other and that will give you the clearance that you need what are these people talking about and where to ge these keys and use them at I'm a hair confused if your talking about tagging or tapping data node I've tried several times and it just keeps telling me I've faild to tap a data node so I gave up.  a little insight would be nice thanks in advance.

hey I'm just wondering soimething here.  I read the latest looking glass articale.  And thought about this does that mean that the t4est server is up and running.  I mean I'm sure if it was they would have had a big announcment aboutit but Maybe I just missed it have been away for a few days now. so whats the scoop on this story and if it is running up now how do I get access to it even though I've never been on  test server what would I do or what DO I do. Thanks for any input.

What is this deal with the Pandora Box thing going on.  ARe they mission.  Exile hideouts, story line details what.  And how do I access them.  Do you have to be a certain org merson or a certain lvl help me out.

Hye I feel a little jelous all you people have some cool sigs. By the way what is the deffintion of a sig and what purpose does it serve.  Anyway I need some one to tell me exactly step by step on how to make one of these for my self and then how to put it in here on these forums.  I want to be cool like the rest of you peoplz.  Thanks and by the way give me instructions like a how to for dumby books yes i can be that dumb thanks in advnce.

I still consider my self a noob.  I'v been playing for some time time now artound a ferw months .  I'm only a lvl 15 wroking towards the lvl 16.  May I add getting up in the lvlvs is WAY HARDER THEN EXPECTED.  I mean you have to gain like 1,000,000 + Xp to lvl again and it rises every new lvl.  I mean yes it should be challengin but come on geez umsait getts tiriing aft.... ok enough of that thats not what this topic is about. On to my subject.

 

I have been enjoying reading the diff forums that come up on here.   Some awesome, some pointless, some funny and some very interisting and some just will there for craps and giggles.  I here people praise ther game and I here people Boo the game.  But I have to say This is my first MMPOG (mssive muli player online game)  I am personally imrpissed woth what people can do with tech these days.  But people lets face it.  If this game wasn't good to some digree, we wouldn't be writing these forums in the first place.  Now would we.  I mean you can argue the point to the ends of the earth.  But think of it.  If it didn't inters us would we be here doing this and waisting our times writing topics all day and night, I think not.  So I think we the matrix peopel of this cummonity should shut our mouths about complaing about dialogue, and storylines, and the content we are faced with.  Yes granted we should have a say about what goes on I mean if it werent for us there would be no game in the first place.  And we should be able to tell the DEvs and progammers and whoever else is out there running the show how we feel about this game.  But the constant demands and complaint are reduclous.  We are matrure human beings on here at least most of us anyway.  we should be praising SOE for their excellent work they have been doing and continue to be doing.  I mean I don't think any of us single handedly could come up with half of the stuff the SOE people are doing.  Think about it from this point of veiw.  When we are shown the preivews for a movie.  They tells us when the movie comes out what we don't see is the months and months and may be even years of planning that went into the movie.  Same way with this game..   The Devs had to had some ida of what is going on before they just di-ecided hey lets do this and see what happens.  Remember the preview tralier for this game what was the catch frase from it..  The war is over th truce has been made.  Whats happenes next you tell us the future of the matrix is in your hands we decied what goes down.  but the peopl that run this show alreaedy have in the wokrsd or the planning whats gonna happen months from now.  think about it they don't tell us about something then a few weeks later do it it probably takes month to organize it qand plan it and execute it.  so give the devs ana break enjoy the game for what it is and have fun if we don't do that then whats the point of playing.  have fun with it. or juts simply leave.  and don't come back.  sorry for the long message just had to get that out of my system now i have to go give my kids a bath and send them to bed.

Hey I'm working on the coder tree on the making abilites I have the esstials.  But I can't seem to fing apperal maker, upgrade maker, tool maker, weapon maker, or ability maker any light on where I can locate these.

Hey I need help with this right now I'm a lvl 14 player in the syntax world.  Not very high I know but anyway.  I notice ther is an awakened ability called mobius code it doesnt require any memory cost best of what I can tell.  Is  it an ability that I have to wait till I get higher up or is it a special ability that you had to get  when you joined the transition time or what.  An ability that you have to code through the coder ability tree or what I really want this abiity I''ve been looking everywhere ANd I'm having no luch with finding this ability.  Someone please tell me where to get it or what criteria I need to get or find it.  If I need to code it or write it someone please do so And I'l  be happy to buy it or trade it for info.  Please thank you in advance.

I just want to know something.  I keep seing this thing on here  Noob?  what is it.

I know  other ppl say that finding data nodes is a waist of time and maybe it is.  But I just want to do them why I don't know I just do.  ANy how,   I have located 3 data nodes now and I guess they are big ones, (nbot sure if they come in big or small but the effects visually make it look like a big one.)  I have tried to tap them and as I do it says either  I faied to tap the node or the node is above my abilty.  Is there a certain lvl I need to be.  ALso is their a certain I don't know what to get them.  I have all the requirments to find them and tap them I just not being very successfull.  Any help will be thanked thanks.  ANd any adive would be great to im a lvl 14  not that it might hepl any.  But thats my current lvl.

Hey Whats the point of the variable code fragments and the code bits.  DO I need them do they serve any real purpose or what do they unlock special abilities, special cloths, special weapons etc.  I have a good bunch of each and I don't know what to do with them Help me out. Hey My red pill name is Kroenin from the syntax world.  Right now I have almost all the awakened abilities loaded and in use.  I did have the akido ability loaded.  But i can't seem to find any really cool moves to buy.  Are their any or should I go with another like kung fu or karate.  Those ones I know have cool moves example shotgun fists and such.  Help and any idea/s thanks

I would say I'm fairly still new to the Matrix online game.  And this would be my first ever forum idea for the makers and creaters of the game.  Now granted 'm only a lvl 12 character my handle redpill name is Kroenin, maybe you've sean me around I'm in the syntax world.  Anyway on to my idea.  I've been running around the Metro city for a few weeks got killed plenty of times killed others plenty of times learned a few things here and there.  Then it hit me.  I've playued other games not multiplayer games but other games that give you rewards for finding all items that were in game.  Example: Grand theft auto; Vice city good game I think went all the weay with the game never finished the last mission.  But in the game there where 100 packages evey 10 that you found you got a special weapon.  When you got all 100 packages you got a really cool weapon.  those that have played it know what I'm talking about.  So, my thought was this how about creating a way for players at any lvl get a reward for finding and syncronizing with all the hardlines, in the richland, westview, downtown, and international districts.  The reward could be a very special ability, or a massive experince boost, and some kind of really awesome clothing or something.  Something that would incourage all the players to expand their sites of the city to explore it all around.  It could even work for killing off all the exile hide outs or doing the bidding of all the collectors.  Or maybe the team that is running this game is already working on something similar.  But I'm just one person amongst who knows how may others out there.  Or maybe you are reading this and saying to your self this guy is a joke.  maybe I am but it's worth thinking about.
