Community Redpill Rescue What do the status effects actually do? What do the status effects actually do? Friar 0 09/04/2005 04:11

Can anybody point me in the direction of a comprehensive list of what
the different combat status effects are and what they actually do?

Just to give an example, I've been playing for about a month now and
didn't figure out until today that "Enraged" keeps somebody in
interlock. Yay for being slow on the uptake. :robotwink:

By the way, if it's in the instruction manual, feel free to just laugh
at me and call me a n00b. Unfortunately, I don't have my instruction
manual anymore, as it was eaten by a Velociraptor.

Gameplay Discussion Missions and Storyline Do the critical missions just pile up? Do the critical missions just pile up? Friar 0 09/02/2005 02:44

I've been in the game almost a month now, and since I came in right
around the time of the SOE switchover, this new patch is the first
chance I've had to actually participate in an active storyline. For
this reason, I hope you'll all forgive me a n00bish question:

Do the critical missions pile up? In other words, are the critical
missions I'm running at the moment relevant to the current story arc?
It seems that the critical missions are somewhat linear, or
at least have to take place in a certain order. So does that mean I'm
having to "clear out" the old missions before I get to the new content?
Since I'm still relatively early on in the criticals (just got
reputation 60 with the Machines) am I playing through old Hunt for
Morpheus missions, or do unrun criticals expire with their associated
arc? Do I need to be in the hundreds of reputation points before I'm
"caught up"?

Thanks for whatever illumination you all can provide.

Community General Discussion The Mysterious Case of the 'Sploding Code Frags The Mysterious Case of the 'Sploding Code Frags Friar 0 08/23/2005 01:02

I just /ccr'd this, and GM Quinn escalated it to QA, so I assume
there's some creedence to this and it's not just me being a n00blet...

When I'm organizing my code bits and frags in the Loading Area
inventory screen, whenever I try to move frags from the right side
(my personal inventory) to the left side (master storage or whatever)
the frag I'm trying to move just gets permanently deleted. No
questions asked, it's just gone.

Using a double-click or the "<== Move" button to move the frag seems to trigger this
deletion. Only way I've found to keep it from happening is to *drag*
the frag from the right side to the left side. This issue seems to affect both green and red fragments.

So

A) has anybody else encountered this bug and/or care to test it out, and

B) WATCH OUT! I post this so nobody else does the same thing I did... I
was double-clicking my stacks of red frags to send 'em to main storage
and now they're all in that big recycle bin in the sky
