Guess what, I just returned from my 4 months mission in Kosovo and decided to reactivate my account - after that I took a look into the forums, only to realize that the last 2 months of my matrixy existence have begun...

Well, to be honest, I am a bit sad, but nevertheless I hope for a few more moments with all of you. Let's act like so many of us stated before: stay until the end.

Last week I "upgraded" my RAM from 1GB DDR1 400MHz to 2GB DDR1 333MHz. System is faster but I can see no change in MxO performance... anyway, I've left alone that PC for a week and when I turn on the machine now, MxO looks like this:

All these things you see are moving all the time, so I get dizzy when I try to look there for more than 10sec.

My hardware:

ASRock K7VT4APro motherboard
AMD Sempron 2600+ CPU
ATI 9600 SE GPU
2GB RAM TakeMS, DDR1 333MHz

I haven't tried to use the 1GB 400MHz RAM again, 'cause I gave it to a friend...

My question: has anyone seen something like this before? You think it's the RAM or the graphic driver? I'm using an older version of ATI catalyst...

Are those 5 Recursion players who won an Assassin Mask during the Death of the Destroyer event still around? And if not: did they sell their masks? It would be really sad if someone recycled such a goody or let it rot on an unused account...

Could someone plz post a screeny? I forgot which buffs the mask has after CR2.0.

I cancelled my subscription. Not because I don´t like this game - I DO love it and it´s the best with the most potential I´ve ever seen.

It´s more because I need to pass my finals, but mainly because of this:

I can´t play like see/hear/speak no evil while friends and community members are treated like sh!t. Accounts get hacked and this company blames the customers. A policy I´m not willing pay for at this moment.

I was never wh0ring these boards so much, so you won´t miss me here. For those missing me in game: I will be back soon for sure.

I love this community and to those who hack other people´s accounts I wish all the worse I could think of. May you once realize how much you hurt people and this game. Burn in hell.

This is no goodbye post, neither do I want to whine or threatten SOE "if you don´t do what I want I´m gonna leave!".

I just want this community to be aware that

There have been at least 4 incidents of account hacking/password stealing on Recursion during the last week

2. Those who have been affected are not treated like they should be as a paying customer. The company seems not to care if she loses a few customers and doesn´t admit any security breaches.

I´m talking about Beanix, Deakkon, Lezel and ghostxx. Deakkon never gave out his account details to anyone, I put my shirt on that man. As he jacked in all his code storage (including all abilities!), his inventory and most of his info was gone. The customer service said they cannot help him, implying that he recycled/gave away all that stuff himself to get it back by a character reset now.

I think we are all aware of Beanix´ story, who got perma-banned because someone else abused her character and acted like a complete moron.

As for the other 2 I´m not sure, I am not so close to them.

Imho it cannot be so difficult to check the IPs that logged on to the accounts. When one always used one or two IPs over a long time and then suddenly there´s a change and a new IP exactly when the incident happened, to me it would be obvious that someone was on this account. If you now trace back that IP to which account it usually belonged, you got the hacker/pass-napper.

Whether you like a player or not, you must admit, that nobody deserves his or her account to be misused or to be perma-banned because someone misuses his or her account.

I´m pretty sure this thread will be deleted too soon. Please gimme some feedback. If I get sanctioned for that I don´t care. I deleted MxO from my main PC just an hour ago and I´m really considering my leave. I can´t play on while helplessly watching friends of mine being treated like *poop*.
