Wazzup, short and sweet. Subscription runs out again on Feb 5th. I gave away all my stuff on live servers i've only been playin on QA since then... now i'm in RFO beta... and have the game pre-ordered so i'll be playin that. Cant decide on accretia or bellato yet for retail launch, leaning toward accretia.

cora did not appeal to me at all... and aquatium's screenshots make me glad i didn't chose them... i've seen their level 50 armor on teh web, still not impressed

plus i hate games with magic. im still gunna call them hax.

yeah, the problem is... they fixed the case sensitive stuff... so i can't log in with h4terade anymore... i HAVE to use H4TERADE... and i didn't make any characters in the all-caps format, so now i have to wait for some admin dude to get back to me about fixing it... along with hundreds of other people having my problem... btw, grats on lv 23... cant wait to look like a badass

I'm doomed in that game.. made H4TE... got to level 7... deleted from crash... name was still taken though

made H4TERADE... got to level 16.... login server crashed while i was still in game... then they changed login names to case sensitive... i was using h4terade to log on, now i have to use H4TERADE... and they're considered seperate accounts. sooooo i'm waiting to have my characters restored, too bad it's 10pm where COG is and everyone's asleep.

hopefull that sh!t will be fixed when i wake up tomorrow morning

other than those lil problems, the game is definitely something new, and seeing threads like gothique's on MxO makes me glad i found a new game. no more complete morons. :smileyhappy:

This is an announcement thread, please refer to the title you clicked to access the posts within the thread. I have changed the name of the future combat system to Combat Revision Gold. I chose this name because it is what the game would have been like if the original company who funded it's development *cough WB cough* would have given the developers more time to polish the game and clear the bugs. I must warn you all though, there are still going to be bugs that need to be addressed in the game, but the combat sytem will be top-knotch. Thank you for your time. :smileyhappy:

Thankyou for your ongoing support during this transition phase. :smileyhappy: My sig is a photograph of the fate of my The Matrix Online game discs I formerly owned. Since the beginning of the transition to The H4trix Online these discs have lost usefulness to me, as I now do all my gaming from The game server itself. (Yes there's only one, explains the crashes/lag/instability huh?) No need to worry though, three additional servers have been ordered to distribute the load from my single server. I hope this answered your question sufficiently.

Currently, the focus attribute adds 1 point to Ranged Combat Tactics at 19, 29, 39, 49, 59, and 69. This brings your possible bonus to RCT from focus to +6. Almost like having an extra stinger in your hand, only better. :smileywink:

Unfortunately at this time, a single player on the live servers does not stand a chance against a single Agent of the system. If you visit the new Combat Revision currently in the works on the External Playtest server, you'll find it is rather easy to "pwn" an Agent "in t3h faec3". If you do not wish to visit the EP server, rest assured once CR2.0 is released to live servers, the "pwnage" will begin. The question is, are you ready?

Thank you for your questions, and concerns. Currently there are no future plans to allow players to be the uberl33t 0ne, teh 1, or Neo from The Matrix films. However, we are currently working on adding the ability of flight into HxO. I'm not at liberty to disclose too much information because mainly I don't want to break any hearts if the new flight system turns out to be a bust. What I can tell you is that using the flight ability required us to add a sort of "second Inner Strength" gauge that is drained while the flight ability is being used, so flight won't be permanent, but it will take you much farther than a hyperjump, and the idea of in-flight fights a-la The Matrix: Revolutions. Unfortunately that's about all I can disclose due to the fact my Developers may have trouble implementing what I write, and would therefore lose their jobs. Regarding killing whiners, there is a new chat feature being debugged to automatically cause anyone whining to flag for PvP combat after a certain amount if whining. As I stated it is in the debugging stage and still has more testing required before it can be added to the live servers. A vector solution for whiners is also being addressed but is in it's very early stages. I hope this answered your questions, and thank you for your support.

First I would like to offer my sincerest apology for the trauma HxO has put you through. A fix to the accelerated decay problem with the Meson Rifles will be released in one of the upcoming builds. Please refrain from using these rifles until a collector is put in place to allow you to trade your decayed rifle for a new one with full purity.

Thank you for your question. At this time no intelligence tests are required to be passed prior to purchase of HxO. The game needs whatever customers it can get at this time due to extreme lack of sales through subscriptions. Once the amount of subscribers increases to a level where I can comfortably make the decision to implement such a test, it will be given further consideration.

Unfortunately, due to lack of information provided by SOE before I took over, I am without the phone numbers of the forum moderators and other staff. Also, power leveling will not be provided for noobs in The H4trix Online. Mommy and daddy aren't here to hold your hand while you level up. Please make a worthy attempt at doing something for yourself.

On a more positive note, new rare items will be awarded to players during upcoming events that blow the assassin mask out of the water. Stay tuned for more details.

Thank you for your question! Here at MxO I will be adding game content as soon as I can get the old Monolith LET crew and content developers back into the development lab and working on the game. I'm sure this game's lack of funding is apparent to you already, but i'm doing what I can to get a healthy and energized crew together to get live events back in action.

As a matter of fact, I haven't even had a chance to contact the forum moderators to inform them that all thread locks must go through me and be approved by me IN WRITING before they are locked. Hopefully they'll actually read this thread completely before locking it, or there will be some major layoffs in the Forums Moderating department. That is all the info. I have time to release now. Thank you for cheers, however I regret to inform you that this ban was supposed to be fully lifter, but I couldn't figure out how to get it out of the accounts system. Best I could do was figure out how to get his account bumped down to "suspended". As soon as I sober up and get home from my day job tommorow, I will be spending the majority of my time looking for a fix to this problem. The accounts system is very tricky and overly complicated for such a simple concept of account status control. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Here at MxO, some new policy we're beginning to inforce is that if you do something wrong on accident, we don't only give you three seconds to cease your unauthorized actions within the game anymore. So if you've done something before a certain rule set has changed, just cease those actions as soon as it is convenient. This does not mean, however, that you can call "three months from now" convenient. Further explanation of these new policies will be disclosed at a later date.

Bottom line. If you're doing something that has been deemed "against orders" or "unauthorized", just stop what you're doing as soon as you get the message.
