I think you misunderstand what a "Veteran Reward" is, it is something that is given to anyone on a set date subscribed, say one you have been here 1 year and you'd get an item via /claim. Mobius and HJBeta were Pre-order and/or story rewards so were never "Veteran" rewards.
Beta Clothing isn't even a Veteran Reward, it is a Beta Reward.

True. But given the time that has elapsed since BETA to now, it does technically imply that these items were in the hands of veterans of the game. Thus, are they not veteran awards?

I take your point, but, even as it is, it doesn't take that long to complete an arc. I started doing chapter 8 on Thursday and already I have only one mission left. I don't think making content easier by making it shorter is what we should be asking for.

Getting an award for doing the current criticals would provide a further incentive to do them, but I don't think making the archive rewards easier to obtain is the answer. Like it has been suggested in another thread, criticals should give more reputation as an incentive.

The problem with this though is that it doesn't make the awards 'special'. If this was to be implemented everyone would have the award by the end of the chapter. And no one wants to be the same, do they? I just think it would defeat the object of having the rewards in the first place.

I've had this before but unfortunatly I can't remember how I fixed it. However, if no one else comes up with an answer, I would suggest reinstalling the game. Life's a b****.
