Well seeing as you don't know how to build a desktop you will have to go with a builder (monarch, alienware, compaq, etc.).

It would be helpful what type of price you will settle on or around. For a good gaming laptop I would think it would be safe to say that you will have to pay at least, at least $1500 or so.

I would have suggested posting this in the "redpill rescue" part of the forum.

As you may know that guide came out during the initial realease of the game. Since then much has changed, as well as the transfer of the game from Monolith to SOE. During Beta you were allowed to create any item with any buff you could code onto it. However it now stands that you must decompile an item before being able to code it. Plus you cannot add any buffs to that clothing (some clothing has buffs, others do not).

Again, it really all depends on how much you want to spend. Also wether you plan on using the laptop or a desktop more. Of course among many other factors.

Do you have a monitor for a desktop or would you have to purchase another?

One drawback about buying a laptop is that you cannot change the graphics card on almost all systems (except some offerings from Dell, Alienware, and I think Voodoo).

Personally I would go with a desktop. I too had the same train of thought of you when I went off to college. I purchased this huge multimedia laptop thinking I would game with it for endless hours. Believe you me, I gamed, but not even a year after I owned it the graphics card went obsolete, sure enough two years down the road and it was beyond obsolete...I purchased it for $2200 originally.

You know, it's not like Sakura Bandanas fall from the sky! They are a hot commodity, especially among those who can usually afford the price. 10 million seems a bit low for this rare item.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if it is a bug. My crew and I opened one today on the roof and things started out fine. Then all of a sudden they all started to evade. Of courese we started to IL them but the box eventually ended up closing.
