Ummm actually, "The reason Machines didn't get the win" could be attributed directly to the fact that the server farted with Ghost at 10% health, if even that, and Ookami at less than 50%. It should have been over right there because most of the "outnumbered Mervs" were also down at that point in time. Good fight though. Fun times indeed.

Or if you do it right, you can wait until the last spawn (2 level 54, 3^'s) comes out, lure them away and kill them. Makes the rest of the spawn disappear and gives you your node cluster. Just takes a little creativity and abuse of certain limitations NPC's have.

This is not even close to being new nor out of the ordinary. Any and all NPC's that have Aikido use Iron Body and this of course increases their melee and ballistic resistances for a period of time, then you notice you're doing more damage (because it wore off) and they use it again. This has also gone on for much longer than with the new EC quest. Tengu has had this on Sakura for ages and I believe even some mission NPC's (non Commando) use it as well. They may also mix in Consistant Technique though I'm not positive but I do seem to remember having removed that from Tengu with Machinegun Fist Combo before.

No one is denying that MKT has high accuracy yet as Anxiety said MKT does not have the ability to run specials in succession like MA does such as Wooden Dummy Drill and Dim Mak or Machinegune Kick, nor does it have the ability to do a few hundred points damage to multiple targets or even hit multiple targets with one attack IE a lot of the hacker trees. You said it yourself, no passive buff gives thrown defense or resistance. Awakened abilities do so use them. It's terrible because conversations like this are freaking pointless because something will be done to mess with one tree and people like you will say things like what I transferred from the other topic only to have you come right back and claim that it's not good enough. Save the gloating, log off the damned forums and practice.

Good points, and while we're looking at this let's look at the rest of hacking where one can hit with an ability such as Code Shock, Area Disruption or Freeze System and then drop up to like 6 DoT's on an oponent only to take flight while the target rots. My opinion, they redid some of the timers on MKT a while back, they should do the same for the family timer on DoT's unless they want to start giving out wands and Wizard hats as enhanced apparel. -DesperAuto
Freeze System is pacify, which breaks on damage, hence after the first DOT does its first tick of damage you can act again. Area Disruption is 3 seconds of stun, enough for 2 DOT's. Code shock has a cast timer so long I have a 5 o'clock shadow by the time it hits, hence you have plenty of time to break my shield (At least) or even IL me before I can get you with it. Either way, if the hacker manages to get a pile of DOT's on you then they earned it.
All of the code infections share family timers, Area infections are on different timers and same with Plague zones. This means if someone wants to stack a lot of DOT's quickly they have to drain a lot of IS (On using area infections), and straddle between Ravager and Destroyer.
Code Shock needs to have the States on it increased in time, it only works when used with teamwork, the hacker sure can't take advantage of Daze, Stagger or Off Balance.
Correct me if I'm wrong but with CR2, Hacker class was supposed to take a support role instead of a Pwn Wizardry role. We are afterall in The Matrix and not some kind of 1400's Mage oriented game. Last I check there were exactly 0 people typing into the air and creating damage or anything else for that matter in the movies or story pre game in general, but I'm sure you can come up with some kind of explanation for that one. Bottom line, what I was trying to get at with my first post was this: Everyone gripes about MKT yet no one ever says anything about the debuffs that Hacker can give or the specials that can be run in succession with Martial Arts. It's always "OMg MKT is way too powerful!" Well guess what? You're getting hit by knives. It's going to hurt and slow you down. Someone attacks you when you don't expect it? Going to do a helluva a lot of damage. But instead of actually learning out to fight let's all just gripe about a tree on message boards instead of taking the time to learn tricks against other classes. It's muct easier that way On the few who choose that route I'm sure. Parting word of advice: Log off the forums and into game. Find a better than average MKT, ask them to duel some and find what works. It is VERY beatable and I myself among others have shown that gunners can have a lot of success against MKT's. You're welcome.

This move is fast and extremely deadly. What's not balancing about this move? It has NO state requirement. Tell me what ability in this game can hit 1,000ish damage on the average with no state required or buffs/debuffs to a level 50 out of interlock. I sure don't. It's not only that, but this move hits almost about every *CENSORED* time, and it's not only that but it has that chance to stagger which no doubtedly means you're going to be powerlessed in the next few seconds. The MKT's arguement over this is the fact, "Well just wear resistance and it only does about 500 damage which is pretty poor." while the counter from other player classes is the fact most 'PvP Gear' isn't exactly Thrown Resistance entitled. I even have my own outfits for each resistance. Ballistics/Melee/Viral resistance outfits usually don't have much changing between them, but when it comes to MKT I have most of my entire outfit redone to battle the MKT scourge. So what do I say about balancing it? The least you could do is either: #1: Make it longer to go through. #2: Make the move easier to miss. Any suggestions, complaints, or comments is welcome. -EDIT I decided to go ahead and test the damage with a familiar MKT I know on Syntax, Shickle. To my knowledge Shickle is a MKT who mainly wears resistance clothes/IS Regen with no damage buffs. I am also using my Melee Combat Training load, where accuracy is never a problem thus I tend to wear clothes more centered around resistance. Here I am with 0 Thrown Resistance. I didn't even bother with a status bonus screenshot because apparently when you have 0 resistance, the stat bonus doesn't even show up. 
That's high, but then again I'm wearing 0 Resistance. Here I am wearing my normal clothes for taking on someone with guns. My thrown resistance is considerably low.

Close to 900 damage. Pretty powerful. Here I am wearing my outfit to fight MA's, which usually gives me around 200 Ballistic + 200 Melee resistance. With some pretty nice Melee Defense.

735 is considerably lesser from 1,000. Keep in mind I'm wearing mainly resistance clothes. Here is me wearing my full anti-MKT gear giving me about over 200 thrown resistance points.

645 damage. I had about 150ish resistance in the other specs in trying to get the thrown resistance up that high. I didn't even bother with defense (excluding the Quicksilvers). What about the classes who can't mainly base themselves around resistances and use mainly accuracy clothes instead? They get pounded from around 1,000 on average.
I just can't help but look at what's in your buffer and think that you're limiting yourself to be honest. The "ZOMFG I R buffed to teh nutz" KF master load and only one hyper defensive/resistance ability in the screens you posted. Those abilities exist for a reason so if you're going to go all offense don't expect much defense or resistance outside of clothing.

If I remember right, at least on the 0.4 Scrambler, you have to get the permission set and then a frag to write the actual tool. I think that one comes from the single level 65 Agent spawn. As for the Gloves, once you get and use the Quicksilver Luggable, you should just upload nad be able to write them because I believe it gives you 2 of the frags that are needed to write them. If for some reason you can't write the gloves, leave word and I'll send you a pair because I have a spare frag or 4.
