I remember somebody in LESIG 2.0 got booted on the second day of us being invited to the program. That was a bit of a shock to everyone. I think the old LESIG vets were a bit hesitant after to accept us, but I think we shook the stigma after a month or so, by and large.

Well, at the time of LESIG 2.0, the LESIG vets had been a solid group for quite some time. The problems were weeded out of LESIG 1.0 fairly early and we had gotten very used to trusting each other by the time 2.0 rolled around. When new members were brought in and continued to be brought in, we had to go through the process of trusting someone over and over again.

Remember the big fight we all had when 2.0s found out that the 1.0 forums were still active and 2.0s didn't have access to them? Hah, that was a fun week...

I can honestly say that I never once took advantage of being in the program, nor did any of my friends or factionmates benefit from me being in the program.

As a Lesig was there any time where you thought events got out of controll and you just wanted to flip out? hehe.

( if this question was already posted, then I missed it lol)

I have had plenty of times where players invaded other orgs' meetings or crashed their events. We usually tried to keep the players away from other orgs' events if at all possible.

As far as out of control? I can only remember one time (off the top of my head). We were doing the event, where the LupinePup would lead the machine players to the Lupine hideout <--- (link). Naidian gave them specific orders to be sneaky and not to be seen by the LupinePup. However all the players blatantly disregarded the stipulations and ran after The LupinePup at full force. It almost ruined the entire event for them. I was pretty upset at the whole thing. The event we had planned out would have been pretty cool, but the players ruined it, so we had to improvise. That may be the closest time I came to flipping out.

It wasn't about the part that they did their own thing, but that the so blatantly went out of character about and just chased the LupinePup around. To me, it was a big FU to the event we had planned. I had to get a teleport to reset me and wait for an actual good RP player to follow me.

Othinn and his tracking did not help out the situation any, either.

Oh and to top it off, when I finally made it to the hideout and talked to Vulg (Rarebit's character) he said "What are you..." for some reason. When he should have played it as I was a young Lupine of their hideout/pack. I guess he wasn't real familiar with the premise. He should have been more like "What's wrong?!" Instead of "What are you..."  lol

Edit: Oh and I got pretty discouraged when players started openly complaining about the tournaments I held for them.

Edit: Edit: I just thought I should say that most events were great to work on, and hardly any of them ever went wrong or too off base. And most the players super awesome. That's what kept me in LESIG for so long, the great players. SMILEY

BloodlustV played MajorMasters. Mentioning him reminded me of the time when MajorMasters had a hacking device and it was put up for auction. A ton of the liaisons with their orgs showed up to bid and the machines won but got a decoy and the cypherites ended up with the real device to use for their own personal gain.

MajorMasters was going to join the Cypherites after the decoy was discovered but that didn't end up panning out for whatever reasons.

Speaking of which, certain people owe me and zippy several billion $i.

That was an... interesting event. It was nice to see so many Liaison Officers on at one time, though.

Oh well, I didn't really have anything I had to be doing during the event itself, it was all the liaisons. I got distracted from mission writing and just sort of dawdled around.

Sequences is just like...you can spawn an arbitrary number of NPCs of however many types you like as a "wave," and you can put multiple "waves" in a sequence (which I don't usually do in Live Events, because it's harder to manage them, since the later ways spawn themselves, either based on time since the previous wave started, or on the death of the members of the previous wave), and you can spawn them just at a location, on a specific lone target, or on random #% targets of org (xyz) every # minutes throughout the city or individual neighborhoods. The ones that spawn on targets can potentially spawn scaled to the target's level, but only if the level range for that NPC exists (like, the Anome simulacrum only has a level 100 version, so it can't level scale).

Ok, so the Tournament has been moved to next week. And Round 1 will be restarted. The Prizes will be doubled, because it was my fault on the confusion and fixing the rules.

The entire patcher tree is now banned. The Patcher sim is also banned. But any other loadout and hybrids are allowed. Also, to clarify, you may change your loadout after every duel. So you can change or tweak your loadout and clothing after you win or lose one of the 3/5 duels. But your opponent can do this, as well. So be on your toes. If you come unprepared for that, it's on you.

Once again, sorry for the confusion. Tonyjaa1 and AltDimension are still in the tournament. But I'll have to speak with TheHidden01, Mattku, Tygrius.

The Zion Invitational will be held at the Jurong Dojo. (-61, 0, -297).

I hope to see all of you out there, and I hope to see some support from your factions!

You can change your attire between rounds and even between fight. Just no changing your attire during a fight. The same goes with Load Outs.

We have a few spots open if somebody would like to join. Maybe two or three spots. Just let me know, or show up to the Invitational and I'll see if I can get some of you in.

    Hello, Soldiers.

First let me extend an apology for my string of absences. If I wasn't being tied down with paperwork, it was a mechanical issue with either the ship or my jack. But those problems have been resolved and I will be returning to active duty, effective immediately.

Now, on to the fun part. I have received clearance from the higher ups to go ahead with the Zion Invitational Tournament. This tournament is open to everyone from every organization. It will be similarly formatted to the Zion Combat test. It will take place over a series of days until the final match is complete.

Zion recently struck a blow to the Cypherites when we raided one of their hideouts. We collected a few of their bandanas in the process. Actually, we collected so many that we're not sure what to do with them all. Therefore, as a prize the winner may select two bandanas of their choosing. That means you can choose to get an Overdrive Bandana, or the Patcher's Bandana, or even the Sakura Bandana. The winner will also receive $information 30,000,000.

    Here are the rules:

    1. All loadouts and hybrids are allowed. The entire patcher tree is now banned. The Patcher sim is also banned. But any other loadout and hybrids are allowed. Mobius Code will be allowed.
    2. No tactic boosters or other consumables of any kind. This includes the pills you get from the Simulacras in the organization areas.
    3. Each match will consist of the best 3/5 duels.
    4. Any one from all five organizations may enter this tournament.
    5. You must be at the maximum combat level to enter.
    6. You will be asked to jack-out and re-enter the Matrix simulation. This will ensure an uncorrupted signal for optimal combat performance.
    7. You must choose and load your attire before the fight starts, no changes will be allowed.

Registration is now open. Please sign up here or shoot me a message in the matrix. Please include your name, your faction, and your organization.

Registration is open til Sunday, June 8th. The dates for the matches will be announced soon.

    Good luck to all!

    Hello Soldiers,

First I would like to apologize to all of the Operatives for my sporadic jack ins as of late. I've had some problems with my jack, as well as some increased paperwork. As it stands right now, my jack needs to be repaired. And according to some technician needs to have some updating done to it. Honestly, I don't know what the heck that guy was talking about. But I just follow orders. So I will be back in New Zion for the next two weeks. After such time, I will return to active duty. This will also mean that I will get back to a normal basis where I am free to jack in.

Once again, I'm sorry for any undue grievances I may have caused for you all. And rest assured, I will be back in full action two weeks from now.

     Hello Soldiers,

As many of you have undoubtedly heard by now, Commander Lock went missing after the gate ramming and sabotage at Old Zion. Zion Command was still working out of Old Zion until our new database and systems were fully operational in New Zion. Fortunately enough, Tyndall was safely able to make it to New Zion. Captain Roland and his First Mate, Colt, were also able to make it to New Zion. Their ship was knocked out of commission, but they were able to catch a ride with another hovercraft leaving old Zion. However, we are not sure what happened to Commander Lock during the huge commotion. We have not received any transmissions or any other form of communications from Commander Lock.

As it stands right now, it is far too dangerous to return to Old Zion. We have received reports that the perimeter of Old Zion is completely swarmed by Sentinels. We believe that they fully taken over Old Zion. There is no way we will be able to send a scouting party back there in the foreseeable future. There is just too many sentinels in the area to even think about doing something like that.

This situation leaves Zion in a predicament. We are unable to search out the Commander Lock. We don't even know where he could possibly be. This leaves Zion with Commander Lock missing in action. Due to this, the Council was forced to make a difficult decision. They have decided that we need a Commander in Lock's absence. The decision was made and Captain Roland of the Mjolnir II has been promoted to Commander, affective as of yesterday.

I wish Commander Roland the best of luck as he takes over his new position and leads Zion though these difficult times.

    Hello Soldiers,

Commander Lock and Zion Command have decided to issue a set of rankings for Captains involved in Hovercraft battles. The Zion Council would like you to come up with 5 ranks that will be used for Zion. A visual design is also required for each of the ranks. The parameters for the visual are stipulated below:

-Each image size must be 32X32 pixels
-Colors must fit into a 24-bit palette
-A simple border surrounding the frame must be present
-Submissions must be made in lossless PNG files

Example of the image size and border:

Commander Lock would like all rankings and visual representations turned in by Thursday, September 13th. Operatives from every organization may enter their own submission. Soon thereafter, you all will be able to vote for your favorite. The winning entry will have a chance to have their submission used as the ranking system.

Good luck to all! I'm anxious to see what you all come up with.
