Community General Discussion 209VICTORY's Farewell message.... Goodbye everyone :) 209VICTORY's Farewell message.... Goodbye everyone :) 209victory 0 01/04/2006 12:24

Hey everyone....

I am posting this message for anyone who knows me, so i can say goodbye (for now).  I have no time these days to play the matrix and its a big waist of money for me, atm.  I've been playing since beta, and i have to say this game has great potential and i hope things turn out well.  I would like to say goodbye to puzle, peer, cinder, and all my other faction members and fellow machines on syntax.  I will be back, but i'm not shure how long it will be before i am back, not too long hopefully. I will still contact my good matrix friends, via xfire and jabber.  Thanks for the great experience, and i hope to see you all soon.

                                                      Farewell,

This is a very good idea.... however, i can tell you, without a doubt. They will not do it and if hell freezes over and they decide to do it, it will take 6 months or more.  How do i come to this conclusion?  Zen master collector (never happened), simple bugs that go on without being fixed, etc.  If the devs won't even give some of us the courtesy of answering simple questions about things like this... does anyone actually think they would give this idea the time of day, doubtful.  Probably not paid enough or something.  Well, this last patch and its ridiculous stability crap, showed me how much the devs care about longtime customers, like myself.  Real jerkoff thing to do. - Hopein for the best -

this is quiet disappointing.... so... should i not wear my rare items? It takes serious effort and info for the paticular items i wear all the time.  If i start to lose this stuff that i worked really hard for.. then what's the point of me staying in MXO?  Granted, normal stability loss is part of the game,, but rapid stability loss?  And what if people start losing all their stuff, how are the devs gonna fix that?  Tell us to go and do everything all over again or maybe give us a worthless jacket or glasses....  I don't know about anyone else, but i don't like it when my accomplishments are unfairly taken from me.  I say, as a customer, I want this bug fixed fixed ASAP because a bug like that is completely unacceptable.  I could be blowing things out of proportion, but from what i have read in this thread, I have cause for great concern.

PS: I could care less about compilable items... its the super rare\expenseve items i am worried about.

 Heya anubis,

I posted a topic about this a while ago, asking for answers on this matter. Seeing that it has been bugged from day 1, as far as i know, i thought there would at least be a little info on the matter.  Well, no one answered my question. I bumped my thread because of its importance, just to make shure walrus or some1 would see it, but a MOD called me a spammer and said i would be kicked.. bla bla bla, if i bumped again. So... needless to say, the question was never answered and i feel like these forums are kinda like some sort of communist state, with the mods being the secret police, suppressing our inquiries. (little over the top, [i know] but thats how it feels when several posts are made on this subject and the devs ignore us, and the mods threaten to kick me for makeing shure the devs see the post), but i complied and the quest for answers was squashed once again. lol  thanks devs! Good luck on getting this question answered, hope the mods don't supress you like they did me.   :robotmad:

Community General Discussion Save the Night Re: Save the Night 209victory 0 10/30/2005 17:18

Hi all!

I would like to say... this night thing breaths a whole new kind of life into the matrix. It makes PVP a whole lot more interesting, in my opinion. I vote the devs integrate this night into the game. The idea that pops into my head would be to keep night as dark as it is now, but with some exceptions like nights with a bright moon light and\or stars.  It would a random thing, but i think that would be awsome, not to mention all the great ideas posted before my thread. I hope the devs seriously consider this. i love it!

Hey all,

SubNova is recruiting responsible and active people for the machine org. As machines we believe that the only way to preserve peace and stability in the matrix is to have humans on all sides of the equation. SubNova isn't a really big faction, but it has experienced and friendly members. SubNova has been around for a long time, and it is expected to stay for much longer in the Matrix. Recruitment is limited and we have to get to know you, before you are given the responsibilities and honor of being A Subnova recruit. /tell the following people if you are interested.

You make some good points....i have also notice that the hotbar, and sometimes the fighting mechanisms are bugged. I haven't seen major bugs, but sometimes they can be quite annoying and can effect the fight someone is in the middle of. As for the abilty thing you spoke of (Abilities going "poof") i haven't heard of that one intill now, all i gotta say is... I hope it doesn't happen to me. heheh

Another thing comes into my head as i am thinking about this. Just yesterday, i was fighting someone in pvp and duels, and evertime i made him powerless or enraged, he was able to escape combat, yet when someone does the same exact thing to me i can't escape combat, and needless to say, that spells death for me. :robotsad:    Just another thing to add to the list....

                       thanks for the input

Hey all,

Well... i have waited about 4 days, maybe 5 and i gotta say, i don't see anything wrong with bumping my thread. I have legitimate questions that need to be answered and with all the new threads, there are many for walrus\devs to look at.

I am replying today because there is one question someone (ie walrus\dev{doesn't have to be walrus}) should have some sort of information on. Since day 1, the teleport team member ability hasn't worked properly in some districts, at least that i know of.  What's going on with that? gonna fix it sometime soon?  I understand that that paticular ability is probably something quite difficult to fix\code.  I'm not a game maker and that paticular undertaking seems like it would be something that would be really tough, even to me (impatient gamer).,  But how long has this game been online? 6 months even more than that i think.

I don't know... i wish there was better communtication on these types of subjects. It seems everyone clams up when i post serious concerns for the gameplay aspect of the matrix. I will once again refer to the Zen collector, that seems like it wouldn't be something that wouldn't take too much time to do, using common sense, but once again i don't know what coding is like ( and i don't need a "know it all" to post something about it on this thread) at least with this game. We where told a "later date" a month ago, i would like my info back or to use the abilty. There are communicaton issues here (in my opinion)... Can't the devs at least post something saying what they are working on, with some projected time frames, instead of "later date" or something even more vague than that. This way, i won't have to use my game time to post these threads, that just seem to be an annoyance to anyone who reads them.

                                    Hope to hear smoothen soon,

                                                     209Victory

Hey everyone,

I am posting this message because there are a couple game issues i am woundering about. The first is, when will the teleport bug be fixed? (doesn't work in downtown and inetnational i believe) Second, Will there be an archive storage increase? I am a lvl 50 as some of you know, and one thing i still find to be fun in this game is lvling abilites, but i am slowly, but shurely running out of room; plus, With new abilites like zen master, trojan horse, etc. comeing in the future, i'm defenatly gonna need the room. Third, Are there still plans for a zen ability collector, and is it comeing anytime soon? I know many of these subjects have probably been discussed on these forums but, i was unable to find the direct answers i was looking for. Please feel free to post any links to forums that i may have missed and Walrus\devs... a reply would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on syntax, and if i am on i am totally willing to help anyone with their box. i need 2 docs from box4 before these items i have lose purity. I also know one person who has a 4th box, and we should get some sort of team goin. /tell me if i am in game. Even though pandoras box was a great idea, it seems to be quite difficult to find people to help with the missions and boxes. Even if you goto say mara C and /shout, you are likely to recruit ninja looters into your teams. It seem once people are done with their pandora stuff, they don't wanna help anyone else (even the people i have helped in previous box openings). the only people that can put together a good trust worthy team with relative ease, are people with big factions. O Well... I am free for any pandoras stuff. /tell me (i need nothing from first 3 boxes, so i don't need any loot from those) but i will do it for the fun and info.
