As a Vegas native.  I support this thread.

What does one do to get into this event? Is it invite only?

Maybe I just need to not be so lazy and read the thread.

EDIT: What will MXO bring for a birthday present?  An Elfs head in a box?

It's a shame, really.

I've only made it to level 5, but its such a nice change of pace so far.  I don't have any idea what the endgame is like, but so far, with a little love and some polish this could be (and so far is) a really deep immersive game.

To me, this universe holds a lot of potential in that it has such an open storyline.  Since the world is based on code and isn't real, the sky is really the limit as far as new content that could be added.  This is also true of another MMO that I play, and they have really taken that as an advantage.  The fantasy based games, in my opinion, not so much.

The players and community in the "other MMO" that I play, have been very good at taking the content given to them and stretching it and finding interesting ways to make content within the content.  Last night I was running missions for Mercury and a couple of RPers were doing just that.

It was nice to have some interesting dialogue to read between missions.  So far it seems like the community is strong despite "being forgotten and unloved".  I am interested to see what lies in store.

How many poeple still play this game

I just subbed last night, I see a game that might really have some potential if it were to get some love.

I saw quite a few level 50s just hanging out around one of the lowbie zones (have no clue where, as I was mostly lost the entire time)... so there has to be something left, right?

I am not a fan of Fantasy based MMOs, so any game like this is a bonus for me.  I wonder... did they just let this game get run into the ground, or did it not get a  strong enough following?

I'll be here muddling about, maybe even level a few times, as soon as I figure out how to actually play.
