I would be ok with either the top or bottom choice. It would drive me absolutely insane to be stuck in this part of the story. The chapter 15 idea appeals most to me though, it would solve the war issue, and things would be pretty much back to where they were when the game launched.

Also have a delay timer, when someone activates it, the effect takes place and every player within the pvp radius would have 10-20 seconds to get out before the spawns come out and the pvp starts.

I think 30 minutes is a bit too long. I'm pretty sure it's somewhere around 10-15 minutes. Either way your operator tells you when there is 30 seconds remaining to get out.

My current character is lvl 37 and i've been to datamine a couple times. In one of the two low level sections where I can actually tap data mines I usually find between 5 and 15 nodes. Most small, one or two larger ones. Going between these two sections I can constantly get nodes, so i've never had a problem with it. This is on Recursion btw.

The elevator doors slid open and Eyes0nly stepped through. As several bluepills made their way to the elevator, as they did every day on their way to work, Eyes held up his hand to stop them. They stared at him perplexedly for a brief moment before the doors closed and Eyes was left alone.

After a few short moments the doors reopened and Eyes stepped out and took a left down the hallway.

"Can I help you?"
"I am here to see the Merovingian."
"Ah yes, he is expecting you. Follow me."

Eyes followed the man through a set of doors and into the large dinning hall where the Merv hosted his dinner parties. Eyes saw through the pleasant, welcoming atmosphere of the hall and felt the danger he was in. At any moment the Merv could order one of his exile lackeys to take Eyes out. He would have to watch what he said.

"So you are Eyes0nly. Please, take a seat. Would you care for some wine?"
"No, thank you."
"Thank you? That is not something I'm used to hearing from your kind, but of course you are different."
"Different?"
"Yes, you do not yet see it, but you are not like the other zionites."
"I disagree."
"Of course you do, but this is a conversation for another time perhaps. For now, lets get on to business."
"You know what I want."
"Yes, but you must tell me why I should tell you where to find him. He works for me, why should I let you kill him?"
"Perhaps there is something I can do for you."
"Ah yes, you do something for me and I do something for you. A predictable arrangement, and a somewhat disappointing one. As it turns out, there is something you can do for me, a program that used to work for me is causing me some problems. Take care of him, and I will tell you where you can find The Overseer. I will send his location to your operator."

With that, Eyes stood up and made his way to the exit. Silently he thought about his deal with the Merovingian. It seemed almost too easy, the Merv could have easily sent any of his own guys to take care of this problem. Instead he sent Eyes and in exchange he was going to give Eyes the location of one of his high ranking exiles. The situation gave Eyes an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach, but as long as the Merv gave him the info, he wouldn't question it.

An eerie stillness had befallen Stamos. The sounds of the city had vanished entirely, leaving only the occasionally chirp of a bird as it flew over the area. On the rooftop of a tall, decaying building lay a single man, staring intently at a building across the street. Occasionally he would look through the scope of his sniper rifle, impatiently waiting for his prey to poke it's little head out, so that he may end it's life with one single movement of his finger.

Eyes0nly had been waiting for more than an hour now, the exile he hunted was proving to be a very large annoyance to him. His information was correct, though, the exile would show up eventually. He was determined, he would wait there all day if he had to.

An hour elapsed before, finally, there was movement in the apartment building. Eyes was ready to fire just in time to see the door open and the exile walk in. Eyes let his breathing slow significantly until he was completely still. He lined up the shot and slowly squeezed the trigger.

RING RING....

The sudden, unexpected outburst from his phone caused him to jump, and his shot to miss it's target. Eyes managed to duck behind a vent before the exile was able to see his attacker.

"*CENSORED* IT! Fuse what is it?"
"Oh..uh... sorry Eyes, but this is important. I just received a transmission from Neophite. Here I'll play it for you."

"Hello there Eyes Only, I have picked up a recording of two exiles that you might be interested in."
Exile 1: Can you believe the boss is willing to pay so much for this one redpill?!
Exile 2: I know, he must really hate this guy, but hey that's all the better for us. Hehehe.
Exile 1: Well from what I hear this guy used to work for the boss back when he was a bluepill, but before he was taken out of the Matrix he did something to *CENSORED* the boss off.
Exile 2: What was the guys name again?
Exile 1: His name was Hershfeild or something like that, but he goes by the name Eyes Only now.
"I hope this information proves useful to you, and I wish you luck old friend. Neophite out."

"What the hell" said Eyes.
"I don't know, but.. OH *poop* LOOKOUT!"
Eyes turned around just in time to see three brutish thugs land on the rooftop. In one smooth motion, Eyes stuck his hands in his trench coat and whipped out his twin submachine guns. He immediately unloaded on the exiles, two of them dropped right away but the third one managed to jump to the side and return fire. Eyes managed to find some cover, but one of his guns had been hit by a bullet. He tossed it off to the side. Just as he was about to turn and fire at the exile again, his phone went off. Eyes quickly flipped it open.

"What?" He asked.
"Get out of there! Theres an agent coming!"
"*poop*. Wheres the nearest exit?"
"Theres one a block from you. It's a pay-phone right next to a bar called Charcoal Bar & Grill. Hurry!"

Just as Eyes hung up his phone he heard the all to familiar sound of an FM-1500 firing. Without looking back he ran as fast as he could to the edge of the roof and launched himself into the air. He could hear the bullets zip by him as he landed on the street and took off. The phone began ringing just as Eyes got to the booth. He picked up the phone and the world disappeared from view.

((Well this is my first RP story. I wanted to do one that went off of Eyes' background and kind of expanded his character a bit. Anwyay tell me what you think of it so far, theres more to come.))

This seems like a really cool idea, it would be nice to see it implemented. From what i've read I don't think it would be impossible to set up. When activated the device would switch a variable and as long as that variable is set to the activators faction the correct NPC's and the correct particle effect would happen.
Once the device is activated the following things would happen:

1. Kill all of the NPC's in the construct
2. Spawn NPC's of the activator's faction
3. Put the boss on an XX minute respawn timer((probably a larger number so that the org that controls the area doesn't change every five minutes))
4. End the old particle effect/scenery thing and start the new one.

I had an idea to add into it aswell, perhaps it could be set up so that any players in the construct that belong to the controlling org would recieve a buff every so many minutes/seconds. Like how the deccelerators work except it would span across the entire construct. The buff could be what ever the current reward buff is for doing a live critical mission((currently it would be the IS Boost)) This would give people more of an incentive to go out and capture the place for their org. Then again it might make the controlling side too powerful, idk tell me what you think.

Ok i had an idea:

I want to expand on the props. What I think should happen is you can buy a token that works like an archived mission token. When you activate it you get a mission room for a certain amount of time (1-4 hrs) and you can buy additional props for the room. Also it'd be nice if you could buy npc tokens which you can activate in the mission area and set the lvl. For example you could buy an npc token and when you activate it it asks what you would like to make (Machine Enforcer, Cypherite Hacker) then it asks for the lvl (1-100) and creates the person.

Eyes0nly ripped off his headset and bolted toward the med-bay. He dodged piece of metal shooting out from the sides and floor. Another shout came from the med-bay, this time it was one of sheer horror. He was sure he'd run into the room to see a group of dead bodies, murdered at the cold, metallic hands of the sentinel.

Upon reaching the doorway, he witnessed Wheeler, Vapor, and Leon grabbing their EMP guns. Covenant and Lovable were already moving RedBindi out of the room. Fenshire's absence sent a chill down Eyes's spine, he hoped for his captain's safety. Scanning the room, he noticed Thenemonica draped over Luminarium's body. Swiftly, he moved over to them.

"Come on we need to get her out of here." He took one end of the cot while Thenemonica took the other. As quickly as they could, they moved out of the med-bay and followed Covanent and Lovable.

Eyes0nly made his way through the wreckage to the communications consoles. The entire ship was a mess, he'd be amazed if she was able to make it to New Zion. He was, however, no expert on hovercrafts, so it was quite possible enough repairs could be made to the ship to get it going.

Upon reaching the consoles, he was impressed that they were in pretty good shape compared to the rest of the ship. It should only take him a few moments to get it repaired enough to send out the messages. He got to work, examining cables to see if they could still be used and working on the signal so it would reach New Zion.

"Zion Command this is Eyes0nly of the Devildog. We have reached The Titan and are preparing to move her into New Zion. Over." He stopped, waiting a few moments before the crackle of a response could be heard.

"Roger that Eyes0nly, we will be awaiting your arrival. Over."

"Roger that. Over and out."

There, New Zion would be ready for The Titan's arrival. If we can get her there, that is. Eyes took a moment before reconfiguring the signal so that he could send a message to the Devildog. So far so good.

"This is Eyes0nly on board The Titan, Symmetric do you copy? Over."

"I copy Eyes, good to hear your voice."

"We have notified New Zion and we are assessing the damages. Theres no sign of that sentinel, I think it must have moved -" Eyes stopped dead as a shout came from the medical bay.

It was a kickass party, I look forward to going to next year's party.
